A Very Professional older woman helped me and she was the BEST SHOE PRO I have ever experienced. She knew I needed to be in a mans shoe and not a womans wide shoe. She was right on. She goes out of her wY to help you.

Not much for service shoes(what I was looking for) staff was great and very helpful! Even showing where dosco7nted shoes were in case I could find something in that area.

Big5 always a great place to shop. I got there 15min before close, however the staff was cool and professional not rushed. They answered my questions, and took care of business. Very friendly, thanks guys.

Amazing little store for Red Bluff. My next gun will be bought here. Probably going to be a shotgun or a rifle. Definitely the place to go for some survival gear too. The staff were very friendly but seemed like they are touchy when you want to check things out on the half of the store with the guns so you will be asked if they can help you a lot while browsing.

Employees seemed depressed no one greated me or asked if I needed help with finding something. It also caught my attention of how many employees they have doing nothing. The store itself was not in order items and clothing were labeled wrong the huge shoe clearance seems to be a front to get you in the store. There shoes were marked down but not the 20% 30% they claimed.

Big 5 for my my favourite stores mind shoes there years but I did realise it theres so much more there they have to offer wash up Walmart in in gel andro I want to get in there get away wanted and get out as quick as possible 510 minutes tops but in other parts of the country is much calmer atmosphere an idea by a very nice sleeping bag mat and some other camping items App is a nice place and to shopping at big 5 very much value

The place was very nice. But did not have what I was looking for. But I give them 100% on the store.

This was actually the best experience I have had at Big 5. The shoe associate was immediately attentive and helpful, and I was able to find a nice pair of Nikes for a good price. I also found a cornhole set for a lot less than I have found them other places and its better than some of the more expensive ones that I have seen.

Good inventory, typical of big 5 stores. But also great service. And that has been my experience with most all small stores in this little town of Red Bluff. And for me service is 90 percent of the sale. Its always nice to walk into a store and be greeted with a smile and willingness to help you with your shopping experience. I will continue to return shop at this big 5 store. Its a nice shopping experience.

Went in to spend my money locally, but I was told I had to wear a mask. I stated I did not have one and was told I couldnt shop! Are you kidding me? First, if that is your policy, it needs to be posted. If it is, it is NOT in plain sight. 2nd, if youre requiring this, make one available to your customers. There were no apologies, just recital of store policy. Ridiculous! So many more busineses deserve to be open and you alienate your potential customers. The state of California is not requiring masks, it’s a choice as an American. BTW, the mask policy is not advertied anywhere including the website. You’re not that great, I will take my $$ elsewhere.

Great, knowledgeable and attentive customer service reps are rare, but they definitely have them here! I was in and out but did not feel rushed at any point. I wish I remembered what the gentleman who had helped me was named, because he really went above and beyond and deserves the recognition! Prices were average for a sporting goods store on my Nike sneakers, which were part of my purchase, but I was glad to see that my heavy bag gloves were priced cheaper than what I had found through Amazon and the other stores Ive checked.

Very clean and sanitizing station located in front of the entrance. Staff was friendly and available to help with locating merchandise.

The level of service leaves something to be desired. My daughter and I wondered around there looking at different things and a gift for my wife. Employees were all over the store and not one time did I get asked if I needed something. I asked the lady at the counter for assistance finding an item and was told they didnt have anything like that in the store rudely. So I bought my items and left. Went to the car looked the item up online and they had it listed as in stock at this location.

Great place to get a fishing license, maybe not the best place to get fishing advice. Decent selection of salmon gear, but Im a little demanding and needy when it comes to gear. So, snagged a deal on their sale (going until Saturday) and headed to the coffee shop to get the real insight into fishing for Salmon in Red Bluff.However, as with all of Red Bluff.....very friendly staff.

They are the only store in red bluff ca to mandate the wearing of masks and refused to allow myself and others to enter. Even when I stated I had a medical reason for not wearing one! We will be pulling out our stocks and will shop somewhere else. This is unexceptional in our small town

I took my 5 year old daughter here last weekend and I regret it fully. The woman working in the shoe section was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful, and ignorant. We were not greeted when we arrived but rather ignored to the point where I had to ask for help. When she arrived to help us she was completely rude. I told her I wasnt quite sure what size my daughter was could she size her. She brought me the sizing tool and practically shoved it in my face. I took it and told her I wasnt quite sure how to use it, she walked away. I tried sizing my daughters feet to the best of my ability, when I asked for a shoe in my daughters size she told me we dont carry anything in less than a size 13. By that time I had lost my patience and told her she didnt have to be so rude, she shouted at me that I was being rude. My daughter was so upset she started crying. I walked up front and asked to talk to a manager, he must have been a train need because he had no idea how to handle the situation. Needless to say I walked out and will never spend my money here again.. #Big5 you just lost a customer. One of the worst shopping experiences of my life!!!# Train your employees in customer service please

Why does this store ( Redding and Red Bluff) have to have poor service employee(s)? I was in there looking to buy adult baseball pants for my teenage son. I found what I needed, on my own, and was looking around at other athletic wear. I felt like I was in the way of the female employee who didnt bother to look up at me or greet me. After being in there about 25 mins, back in the baseball section again, a young man asked me if I found everything okay. I did ask him if they had any turf shoes. He looked at the cleats and was looking for something that specifically stated turf. He asked me what the difference was which was fine, he was young and didnt know. I guess I educated him. I give him props. When it came time for me to check out there was no one at the registers. The same girl I saw in athletic wear told me I could go to any register. She still never made any small talk or asked if I found everything I was looking for. She never even thanked me for coming in. Is this the kind of service we have come to accept? Theres not a whole lot of competition in our small communities. If I didnt the pants right away, I wouldve ordered them online and got the same service. FYI, one of my first jobs was register greeter girl at a Big 5.

I went with a friend. As they took care of their shopping I enjoyed looking at different things I liked. And sat down in the shoe dept. For a bit just looking at shoes.

Very cool store. Seems like they have a little bit of everything and a lot of a lot of things haha. I like going in there even if Im not buying anything. They have so many cool little knick-knacks and cool items. Everything you need to Camp everything you need to fish. I believe you can get fishing license here as well all around great store period and very very reasonable prices

I remember walking around and hearing shouting and see a customer FREAKING out! My Son and I looked at each other I’m shocked and kinda giggled. The store employee (female don’t remember her name) was very kind, soft spoken and nothing shy of respectful! By then we had witnessed this “Kristen” wigging out. I mean WIGGING. I even said to my Son “ someone’s having a bad day”. She began to check out and was in front of me. Biting my tongue as to try and not get involved, she was still huffing and puffing. Other employees were near by. Once she left, (thank God) I told the poor employee I was sorry that she was treated that way and that sometimes people take out their frustrations on other people and how sad it was you. I also told the other employees (because yes, the manager wasn’t around) that she absolutely did nothing wrong. I came back a few days later just so I could speak to the manager and let him know what happened. This “Kristen” is a negative Yelper as you can see from her profile. People don’t realize how a negative and a FALSE review can jeopardize someone’s lively hood and just flat out ruin their day. Plain and simple, be more kind.~Leah

It was a nice store but me and my wife felt they were a little too aggressive with their customer service.

The young man and woman were so helpful and so nice. Im a new wodow and wanted to get a BB pistol for my son and was just so lost. They just accomidated me so well. I was very pleased and goong back after new year begins and have them help me buy a real pistol for protection. Thank you so much.

Went before Christmas to get a shotgun....took the FSC test....background check and all the fun stuff. Very nice people and didnt have to wait for anyone at the back counter like a lot of places that sell guns have issues with.
