Allen was my salesperson and he was a total professional. We communicated a lot through texting (which was my preference for convenience) and was always quick to respond. He was very knowledgeable about the vessel I purchased and was able to give me some good advice on the local waters. Just purchased a Sea-Doo spark in March 2021 everybody was super helpful my salesman was Alan and he was more than available throughout the buying process. I had many questions concerns etc. over several days I made several calls and multiple appearances to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and everybody was very patient and helpful with me and it was a good experience. Just picked up our AR190 yesterday, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We dealt with Shad over the phone when we placed our deposit and Allen went over all the bells and whistles of our boat. So i called to ask questions about a boat they had for sale. So i call press one for sales a guys answered doesn’t say his name is very short on the phone says that the boat was sold and hangs up. I found it very rude and thought i would write this review on the customer service of their sales teamI received. Ya never know i just maybe would have bought a boat. guess they will never know.

As a full time fishing guide in northern California, I rely heavily on my equipment. I run my boats constantly and on occasion, service or repair is required. Today my fuel line connector to my Yamaha trolling motor failed 30 minutes into my two party fishing trip on Shasta Lake. I was dead in the water and had to return to the dock to contemplate my solution for this problem. I left my clients at the dock and drove back to Redding Yamaha Sea Doo and contacted the parts Dept. staff. I was promptly taken care of and had a new part in hand in short order. Back to the lake I went. A quick fix and we were back in action. Both clients caught their personal best brown trout and several other great trout by days end. What a rough start to a great ending. Thank you RYS for your support, I truly appreciate it!

Do not use this company. My boat was suppose to be done two weeks ago but they ordered the wrong gasket and now it will be three more weeks. Unacceptable to keep someones boat for 5 to 6 weeks. Unacceptable to not have the part overnighted after they ordered the wrong part especially it is a gasket that weighs as much as a piece of paper and would not cost much. Go to a different boat shop. I have had an engine rebuild, new carpet, install two fish finders and a trolling motor completed in two weeks and this company cant replace one electric part in 5 to 6 weeks. Please save yourself the hassle.

Bought a new Yamaha boat. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a few minor issues with the boat, the staff resolved the issues quickly and to my complete satisfaction. Overall a very pleasant experience. Our salesman Allen, finance manager Ryan and owner Steve treated more like old family friends than customers.

Called them to get my R6 up to speed on maintenance after just buying it. They said they couldnt see it for over a week so I had to make an appointment for the next Saturday. I asked if i could drop it off the day before cause i have work on Saturday and they said that was fine, they said it wouldnt get worked on any faster than 9am. On Saturday which was when my appointment was. I asked when on Saturday should they be giving me a call to give me a run down on what needs to be done and how much. And I stressed how I didnt want the bike sitting outside all weekend and wanted to be assured I could pick it up before they closed and the service advisor said 10am. so Saturday came and it was 4:50pm 10 minutes before closing and I HAD TO CALL THEM and he said they looked at the bike but havent had the chance to call me yet. He said if they couldnt call me before closing they would call me Monday morning. Well Monday Monday came and went and no call on Monday at all then Tuesday came and no call finally it was around noon on Tuesday and I just drove there and asked what was going on and why I kept getting put on the back burner and the service advisor didnt explain what went wrong he just ignored my comment and pulled my work order from the very bottom of his paper stack and started looking up the work invoice. So with all that in mind I wasnt going to give the shop that gave me the run around the job so I took the 1200.00 in work to a other local business and they had half the repairs done in 2hrs and waiting on parts for the other. I own two businesses and you ALWAYS keep your customers in the loop. The professionalism of his service advisor is not up to parr. But the mechanic who walked me through all the work needing to be done was professional, informal and helpful.

Steve and his staff at Redding Yamaha and Sea-Doo were great. I had a custom need that Steve was able to make happen. I tried to find dealers closer but they either could not fulfill the project, or were priced way too high. I was nervous about reaching out to Redding Yamaha due to me not being in Redding. Steve met each need and concern that I had in the project and even exceeded my request clarifying and making sure the project was exactly what I wanted but also needed. Great customer service and responsive knowledgeable service department.That you Steve and your crew for making our vision happen!

Went there today the man i talked to was really short with me wouldnt help me. He didnt think i could afford one of their boats so he told me to go to harrisons instead. Yahmaha missed out because they wanted to treat me like i dont deserve to shop there.

I bought my bike there theyve been very good to me as far as service and info. Very friendly place to do business I recommend it to anybody.

Very disappointing. Took a motor cycle in for a torquing of the clutch and primary gear and wanted to have them get the bike started. Was told it needed a full engine rebuild for 6k. I was then told that the side cover was even taken off. I picked up the bike exactly as I dropped it off. New tire and crank seals were not put in and power valve not assembled like I authorized. $200 for tightening my primary gear and clutch hub. The left me hanging. I wont be back ever.6krebuild for 6k. Mechanics told me he never took and side cover

How the hell do they get a four star rating when everyone I know that rides a dirt bike quad or can am have absolutely nothing good to say about them. I bought my kids pw50 15 years ago and the where messed up back then. Must be Russia giving feedback

This location needs some major upgrades to the site. When we first arrived we thought it was a salvage junk yard center. The salesman were friendly but they dont know all the courtesy of a salesman (not knowledgeable about a lot of other things given wrong infor twice). Ive been to many other locations and this one I would say we wouldnt go back.When we got to the site we did end up buying a 2019 Yamaha Grizzly because they had it available on site. If not for that Yamaha I wouldnt have done any business here. After the purchase of the ATV for some strange reason we keep getting a weird energy/vibe. I hope no parts are taken out of the ATV and replace with a used part or not OEM part.

We did an extensive search for a fishing/patio boat both local and down at the Cal Expo in Sacramento. Good customer service and parts dept

Left my skis there to be worked on. During the 5 months it took service to get my warranty work approved which was denied, my skis were stolen from their lot! Now their insurance says the standard of care was met by cal state motor sports aka Yamaha of Redding and denied my claim.Now Im out 2 jet skis and a trailer.Buyer be ware of this company!

Very rudely responded..when questioning are bill.. told me we could sue if we did not like it... there was extra fee we were not aware of.. manager statements in services for our seedoo.. told ower they would respond.. no response??? Question the prices..and tell to call when theres possibly of more work.. with charges..people do have a BUDGET ..

Took my Bike in for a factory recall service and when I went to pick it up they wanted to charge me $28 for charging my battery. Two issues with that. 1st its illegal to bill a customer for repairs or service that they didnt authorize. 2nd charging a pro-rated labor amount of $90 per hour is bad business to say the least. Rude too. Will go elsewhere from now on.After thinking about my last experience, I would like to say I was very pleased with the concern management showed to improve my customer experience. I was pleasantly suprised to get a call from upper management to discuss my concerns. I realized I have enjoyed flawless service for the past 15 years and got a great deal on a new motorcycle. Im sure they will address my issues with the front desk staff in the service department. The actual mechanics are top notch. I will continue to be a customer and recomend them to my friends. One bad experience shouldnt ruin a long standing relationship. After all it was pretty minor and no harm was done.

Took my bike here to have some after market parts put on. After not getting my bike back for over a month I received extra hours put onto bill. The bike parts were also not put on how I asked. This has been the worst experience I have ever had will a mechanic and dealership. They cant even work on their on bikes?

Picked up my new Ranger purchased at Redding Yamaha Sea Doo Ranger and could not be happier with the service and overall experience with my purchase. They were also able to sell my other boat prior to me taking possession of my new one. I will definitely spread a good word and if anybody is interested in a new Ranger bass boat, motorcycle, UTV or ski boat I would check with Ryan or Steve before buying anywhere else. Earlier today, my girlfriend and I were many miles away from home and got stranded. Id blown out the rear tire on my Can Am Defender and my patch kit wouldnt have helped. After calling Redding Yamaha they were able to give me a tire AND rim for a great price, Thanks to their amazing customer service and a helpful Siskiyou Sherrifs Deputy, we were able to change the tire and make it home only a few short hours after sundown. Redding Yamaha made a stressful and potentially expensive situation much easier. I will continue to giving them my much deserved business and recommend them highly.

Terrible service experience dealing with Alan sat down with a different dealer for hours and was treated well .picked out my order.came back to pick up had to deal with Alan he pushed me away in 5 minutes had my deposit returned.

Reactive service. No weekend mechanic available to fix our issue so we had to take time off work to travel to their store to have a simple lock fix.

Purchased a Ranger RT198P here with the help of Ryan Tripp who was awesome throughout the whole process. Had a small issue with it (not their fault) and it was taken care of promptly.

Went to look at motorcycles. Fairly knowledgeable staff, and if they didnt know the answer they would tell you and look it up. No BS and went pushy at all.

While touring California had an issue causing misfires on my FJR. I showed up in the afternoon. The team in the service department had me back on the road the next morning. Very nice and capable staff.
