I recently moved back to California and was not in the market for a new vehicle but due to unforeseen circumstances was forced to make a purchase. After asking a few friends they highly suggested Redding Kia. After spending a few days doing research on different makes and models I decided to go test drive the new K5 and it was so smooth, and for a V4 had some power and get up and go. The sales staff, and finance manager was very friendly and not pushy at all. You have all heard horror stories of car shopping and I did not feel any pressure at all to make a purchase and even slept on it for a few nights before I pulled the trigger. I will definitely go back there for the next vehicle.
Was looking to purchase a new car, possibly trade in mine as well. The man I was emailing with had me confused in his wording and proceeded to email me back in Caps lock and talk down to me. Therefore we will not be purchasing from them any longer.
Went here with my fiance to get a used car. The salesmen were pushy and got mad when we said we wanted to discuss financing before test driving a vehicle. Basically, theres no way to get a straight forward answer from these people about financing. The salesmen actually told me that the credit score wont affect the price of the loan by much. Every time I had a question the dude talked over me, and tried to bully my fiance and I into paying an outrageous price on a brand new car we didnt even want. I will never go here again.

I brought it up to her n she said was it Redding Kia? I said yup! I left the site immediately, she said she also did the same thing. For this reason, this will be the last place we go if we even have to. I would bet this happens often, just looking out for the business.

They quickly got back to us with answers to any questions we had. There was absolutely no pressure in their sales and they all treated us like family with great compassion for our circumstances. True horror story with Redding Kia. I live in San Francisco. Redding Kia is 4 hours away, but it was the only dealer in NorCal that carried the trim and color we wanted and we decided to go for it. I called them. The dealer invited me to deposit a couple of grands over the phone without having seen the car. I obviously declined, but locked down all the financial terms and agreed for a time to test drive the car the day after and close the purchase in person. The next day while I am in my car driving up, the dealer calls me. I confirm I am on my way and they confirm the car is on the lot. We get there, test the car, decide to buy it. At that point the dealer says: Sorry, I just sold the car to these other people over there while you were testing it.
We took our 2015 Kia Sedona in to be serviced on Christmas Eve. They suggested over $1100 in random maintenance and brake repairs. Tonight we were driving down the road and our serpentine belt snapped and fell off the vehicle. A belt that they did not recommend be replaced and in fact marked as being in good repair during the service they supposedly did four days again. This is the second time theyve supposedly done something and didnt. Last time they swore they put air in the tires but a quick check after the service showed they hadnt. They were called on that and apologized but now have done something even worse. What good is the free oil changes if they arent even doing the stuff they claim to do. We will NEVER be back. This is the second Kia we have purchased from them and I even sent a friend there to buy his last car. You can guarantee I will now tell everyone who is looking for a car not to waste their time with this dealership. What a joke.
Generally speaking I like the service/sales that I have received there except for this time. Car has been in the shop since 5/28 and i have been waiting for a loaner since then, today being 6/1update did finally get a loaner later that day although had to cancel a Drs appt that i really wanted to get done but..is what is.
Shout out to Redding Kia. I was unable to schedule an appointment this week so I did a drop off this morning for service. I also have an appointment next week for an oil change and to get a new key programmed. Here is the shout out. While my car was there they noticed that I had an appointment next week so they did my oil change, tire rotation, programmed my key and fixed my issue. Also my car was done today so I was able pick it up before they closed Now that is customer service!!!!
What good is a warranty if when you have a major problem with your car the Kia dealership can’t get you in for a month or more. I am very disappointed in Kia. I had no choice but to take my car to another auto repair facility when my check engine light came on and my car died in the middle of an intersection. Kia is refusing to reimburse me the cost of that repair because I took it to a third party. If I could have taken it to Kia in a reasonable amount of time I wouldn’t have taken it anywhere else. I will not be recommending Kia to anyone and I will not buy another Kia. This whole experience has made me not trust Kia.***After having a bad experience dealing with Kia the corporation after talking to Jacob at the local Kia dealership he was very kind and helped resolve the issue. He has made feel much better about my car and about future services through Kia. Thank you
The place was busy and I think not enough employees to handle all the customers. When I was taken care of the employee was great. Very nice.

Everyone is great. Roman is a patient guy. It took us a few tries between work schedules before we actually signed papers. Roman, Cody and Brady were awesome! We didnt get out there until after 8PM. And since everyone was gone they told me to come back when I had time so they could have it detailed. Danny (I hope) did an amazing job on the car. I will definitely continue to be a Kia owner. Thanks to all of you guys.
Eric was absolutely wonderful. He asked alot of questions to help us find the car we wanted. And in the end we got what we wanted including the color. Forgot the finance guys name but he was wonderful and went over everything with us didnt miss anything. Im glad we went to kia such a wonderful experience compared to the last time I bought a car from a different dealership.

I went to the website for this dealership as they had two 2019 Kia Souls in Carribean Blue that I was particularly interested in purchasing. Weirdly, the website advised that I needed to call to get the final price of the vehicle. I filled out the online request for information and heard back from someone within a few hours. The gentlemen with whom I spoke asked for my specific location. I advised that I was in Portland, OR and was doing some price comparisons related to the vehicle listed on his dealership website and information I had located with another dealer. He immediately sounded disinterested, but later indicated that he would forward the price of the vehicle to me via e-mail. I NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE FROM THEM!!! After reading several of the Yelp reviews, perhaps it was all for the best. Nonetheless, two days later I made the fateful decision to drive up to Car Pros Kia (Tacoma) and worked out a great deal on the trade-in of my 2015 Kia Soul for the 2019 Kia Soul I originally wanted. Im always amazed at how places like this manage to stay in business when treating potential customers with such disregard. Its too bad really! I was willing to make the drive from Portland, OR to Redding, CA provided the price was within my budget. Youve already lost my business and based upon the reviews Im seeing online, it does appear youll lose that of others as well...

In all my car buying experiences I have never had a more STRESS FREE time getting in to a new vehicle. The staff was so helpful and fun to be around. It felt like hanging out with friends and family. Everyone was kind, respectful and really provided a really no stress environment when it came to buying my new 2017 Kia Forte. I never thought I would have driven away in a brand new car. Roman was the best car salesman I have ever met. He definitely changed my outlook on buying a car. Kia gave me a great selection and made the entire process painless. The last time I bought a new car was 18 years ago and I was worried my credit would not allow me to finance on my own. They worked very hard for me. My 2017 Forte had an awesome rebate and I was able to do it all on my own. The free oil changes are a life saver. I make my appointment, drop off my car, they bring me back to work and then pick me up when my car is finished and bring me back to the dealership. They keep up on all recalls and get the repairs done quickly. My Mom and my Sister have since purchased a Kia as well. I would recommend Redding Kia and Subaru to anyone. All the staff here are amazing. I was helping this morning by a young man, and instead of saying its not my job and left me to stand there in the lobby, he got me started so check in would be more efficient. He also kept me posted with brief updates as to when a service rep could take over and help me.Once turned over, I always felt taken care of and never like an inconvenient walk in. My issue was resolved in under an hour and I was reassured. What could have been a bad start to the day was rather pleasant. Thank you Redding Kia. You ALL are on point. Amazing service EVERY time
Been here a couple times.1st time we had a financing program and after talks they ignored it, using their own getting us a denial and hitting my credit.Few months later we were looking at a sportage that was online. When I used the website for eprice I got texts to come in and check it out but was also told it wasnt available but would be in a couple days. Turns out those were Sorentos and the sportage wasnt ready. Then I was told to come and check it out cause it would be ready and we showed up early and the sportage still wasnt ready. Finally about a month after inquiring about the car it was ready and I finally got an eprice of ~26k for a car thats under 20k 90% of the time online (Redding is always overpriced). Needless to say we didnt go see the sportage.Ill keep reviewing their site, but with little expectations of a good deal.I guess I would still recommend them as they are no different than others. Just more of the same so why not if youre interested in a Kia
I love my van but I feel like it’s had a lot of problems for it only being 4 years old. The reason I’m writing now is because I recently took my van into them because the top of the radiator cracked and caused it to overheat. The cost was outrageous at first they worked it down to $666.00. Great thank you Kia, but I asked why my newer vehicle would have a crack and no one could answer... then not even three weeks later the electrical cord that connects to the radiator completely melted! When I asked why that would happen I got a very condescending tone with I don’t know why that would happen... so the next time I came down I came with my husband who said don’t you think it’s a coincidence that it breaks down three weeks later after you fix a part that was connected to... with a reply of listen we’d be the first to say that we were at fault because we don’t want to be tied up in court. With that my husband said fine just fix the part we’ll pay the almost $2,000 dollars and you won’t be getting service from us and a good review and I want to speak with your manager. We waited 30mins just for someone to say they couldn’t find the manager. Next thing I know they could rewire it for $500.00 I said no thanks no half way he said okay... then when I came in the service clerk said they discounted it (which is the only reason I’m give a 4 out of 5) to $289.00. Very smart on their part because if I had to pay full price it would of been a one... this was the only one bad experience that we had with KIA really and I truly understand but they didn’t even give us the part we asked for that was faulty.
I am a firm believer in shopping local. That said I am super impressed with the people at Redding Kia. I was firm on my budget and Eric and Robert were very happy to work with me. I encourage people to give them a chance. Super happy!!
We have several friends who have purchased from Redding KIA and liked their cars. We went into Redding KIA to purchase a FORTE, but after looking at the OPTIMA, decided we would rather have that one. We have put 300 miles on the car in just over a week and are absolutely happy. The car is very comfortable, the Rear Camera is a life saver. It makes it easier to see right behind the car. LOVE THE SIRIUS RADIO. It will be exceptionally needed when we travel. The car is very stylish and gets great gas mileage.

I have taken my car here several times for routine upkeep. They are (in my opinion) expensive of course because they are a dealer, but the service is good, professional and timely. Never had a horrible experience here.
I was visiting family in the Clear Lake area & backed over a hump of dirt that pulled away some of the plastic parts near the front bumper. I called Redding Kia from the road asking if I could stop by on my way through back to Portland. I was fussy about the whole situation and almost certainly had an annoyed tone on the phone.Everyone I spoke with was incredibly nice and helpful. I was able to pull in without an appointment. Nemo took care of me right away and zip-tied the pieces into place as a temporary fix to get back home. I was in and out in less than 1/2 an hour. No charge. No sales pressure. No scare tactics to make me get a more permanent (and expensive) fix.This is especially impressive to me since it was clear that I was just passing through and there is not hope of repeat business. The best thank you I can give them is telling the rest of the Redding area how wonderful the staff is.Thank you!

I cant rave enough about this place! The sales experience was absolutely awesome. We dont have perfect credit but the finance department was able to lock us in quickly and close up our deal in a very timely manner. We started looking at used cars but ended up driving off in a 2016 Kia Soul! If I stopped this review right here, most people would be impressed already. BUT WAIT! Theres more! I just took my little Alien 2 Green Kia Soul in for its first complimentary oil change yesterday and they also rotated my tires! FOR FREE! Shut up! No! Im serious! Im in love with this place and wish I had more money to buy more Kias from them! Super friendly crew in all departments but a special shout out to Byron in Sales for making things happen in a super efficient and happy fashion! 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!
Bought used car, purchasing process was great. I was upset about warranty after looking over paperwork. All questions were answered and recourse was available. I appreciate Kia making it right. They take pride in being honest and up front.

I have always had a good experience at Redding Kia but for some reason this time it was a bit crazy and a lot of people waiting. I was a bit shocked. They do have plenty of water and things to hold you over if you are going to wait for yippe car to grey done. Out would be nice if they had a bigger showroom but three really isnt to much more they could have done with that space . The lot they are in is small and getting your car out can be a bit tricky.

Redding Kia was by far the best car buying experience ever. I was in a serious car accident and totaled my car. I wasnt in the market for a new car (or payment) prior to the accident, but luck have it, the wheels of faith turned and I ended up needing a new car. My sales guy Kyle Rollins was wonderful in listening to my concerns and found the right car for me. They were friendly to my child, worked with my budget and made the experience fun and enjoyable. I love my new Kia Optima, it smooth to drive, safe and gets great gas mileage...and has the 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty!!! Thank you Kyle and Redding Kia for getting me into my new car.

My car broke down on me and i was going to car lots JUST TO LOOK! These people were very rude and very pushy. i felt like they were not listening to me, all they wanted was to sell a car, they didnt car about me. They were even pushy trying to get my phone number. when i finally had enough of their pushiness, i simply left politely. however, then i was told i had to wait to speak to the manager so he knows his people are working. i stood outside for 5 mins just waiting. as i was getting into my truck the manager finally came out. He too was PUSHY. I ended up purchasing a car with crown motors, they were amazing. not pushy at all and i felt that they cared about my happiness and my needs. I would NEVER recommend someone to go to Kia. EVER!

Leather seating, free coffee and token for vending machine, giant screen television and of course free guest wireless internet all in a clean and bright area.My experience with their sales dept was a pleasure they made my purchase a fun experience. I recently relocated to Redding from Indiana and Im getting settled in the area, so this was my first visit to the Redding California Kia. Redding Kia wrecked my van 5/7/18 while it was being serviced for an oil change and tire rotation. This story is entirely too long to tell on Google but I assure you its the worst customer service I have come across in years and I am a manager in customer service/ hospitality. The GM never once attempted to speak to me or call me about what transpired that day or ANY DAY and believe me there was a lot. Im only posting the short version today. No one acted like they wanted to interact with me after all that transpired. From forgetting about me after they shuttled me home to wait on my oil change and then NEVER calling to inform me my vehicle was ready to be picked up, charging me $40.00 for a cabin filter after they wrecked my van ( had I not complained about it, its doubtful they would have given me back the $40 because they never offered) and then having me do the legwork to find out the estimates on my van, its safe to say that my opinion of Kia of Redding is negative. Negotiations were basically nil when I tried to get them to make me solvent in not only the damage they caused but my aggravation and their very poor customer service as well. The whole day was nothing but a shitshow including trying to communicate with them up until yesterday. I was patient, understanding and nice to them through the whole incident but after much thought and some advice from another service manager at a another Kia in another state, I now understand what horrible customer service I truly received. The lack of knowledge, customer service and lack of ownership is blinding. It starts at the top.
What can we say, we Love Redding Kia. Their prices are the BEST around and they stand behind what they sell. We recently purchased our second vehicle from Redding Kia because we had such a good experience the first time. We like their customer service and honesty, something thats getting harder to find these days. They went above and beyond any other dealership in town and got us into the vehicle we needed, thank you Redding Kia for another great experience!!
KUDOS Rob H. in Sales for coming out in the Redding heat: 108° to try and help me with my headlamp R&R. The service department was closed, he was not able to help, but he gave it his best, went above & beyond researching for me and going through the owners manual.When I upgrade, Ill makie the 3 hour drive, to purchase from him.(NOT the orher 2 guys insiside that asked what I needed but did not offer to help - they chose to stay inside with the AC, very gentlemanly of you-not).

I came in on Sunday (Feb. 28th) with my trade-in, negative equity and a less than stellar credit score. Carl and Paul spent a good 3 ½ hours with me Sunday trying to get the numbers to work, and although we were close, it just wasn’t where I was comfortable with being. They sent me on my way and said not to give up and that they would keep working on it and call if something came up. Well...... Monday morning Paul called with the good news that they were able to put it together, and I picked up a beautiful Pearl White 2016 Kia Forte yesterday!! I LOVE IT!! It’s brand new and ALL MINE! For me, this is truly a symbolic beginning to a new chapter in my life.So, from the bottom of my heart….a huge thank you and much gratitude to your team…..Carl, Paul, Mark and Denise! They are amazing.As long as I live in Redding, I will never buy a car anywhere else!
