I took my 2017 Honda Civic that was not blowing cold on the AC to this place and they were able to fix the problem and now my air-conditioning is blowing like brand new now and I couldn’t be happier. This place seems to be the most professional mechanic shop I’ve ever been to. They even thoroughly checked over pretty much everything on my car as a courtesy and they said my car is doing really good. They also did a courtesy check a week or so later to make sure everything was still functioning on the AC which I thought was very generous of them because they don’t charge you anything to do a courtesy check. I feel that these mechanics at the shop are very trustworthy and do honest work. They are real nice to you there and they treat you really well. I will definitely be taking my car here in the future if I ever have any more problems. I just can’t say enough good about this place. They are absolutely amazing.

Im a hotshot driver that had brakes and rotors done day before. In the middle of delivering to Redding CA and needed to get down to Barstow. I had hub oil leaking bad. These guys was super busy yet got me in and got me done. They r very nice ppl offered to allow my family and I to use company vehicle to go get lunch. If I ever brake down where I need to b towed. I will to it 100 miles to this place. They r that good. Thank you to all of you guys BIG TIME.

We run a Type 6 Wildland Fire Engine out of Montana, and we had a little trouble out in Redding this year 2021. Cody and his team did everything they could to not only get us the parts we required lickity split but also spotted a couple other serious issues we needed to get taken care of before heading back on the line. Thank goodness they were looking out for us so far from home. Best car shop you could ask for.

My automobile had a major issue with the air conditioning that required the entire dash to be removed . Not only was Advanced Automotive the lowest bid I received to do this complicated job but they did a terrific job in a very timely fashion. They evened washed my car upon completing the job. I only called this place, the lady answered the call was nice, but nit sure about the mechanic cause didnt get service done here, so 4 stars for just a phone conversation, the appointment was too far out so she referred me to check other places, the price she quoted me was fair for 4 wheels alignment at $89,

I have been a customer of Advanced for nearly 20 years. I have found them to always be honest, trustworthy, and just darn good mechanics. Cody and Tim are straight up with you and wont try to convince you to fix when there is nothing wrong. I recently had a transient noise in the front of my truck. It sounded like it was coming from the left side when it actually was coming from the from differential. It took forever to find but they kept at it. They also discovered issues with the transfer case that were not making noise. This averted a ginormous on the road if it had come apart when traveling. I recommend Advanced Auto over any other auto repair shops in Redding.

They are so knowledgeable and friendly and take the time to discuss options, pricing, long term and short term options which is extremely helpful for people like myself who arent car savvy. They were able to correct all the problems we were having with one of our vehicles from an oil leak all the way to electrical issues. I had taken my minivan to one of the largest west coast tire franchises who did a wheel alignment 2x and still could not correct the issue, these guys were able to take care of it without a problem. After spending time looking at reviews for various companies I decided to take my car to Advanced Automotive.Every review was excellent and five stars, so how could I go wrong. Well after my first appointment and car return, to say I was disappointed would be an understatement, what happened all these five star reviews and here am I with a car that still doesn’t work and after paying a bill.A week later I received a text message from Mary at the office asking how I felt now my car was repaired, still waiting was my response. Two days of nothing then someone must have realized what had happened, because after that the whole management and office staff literally descend onto my car, a mistake had been made a customer had slipped through the net and boy did they make it better quick. That’s why they get five star reviews.Would I use them again, would I recommend them to my friends? Yes I would with glowing praise, not only did they fix the problem but wouldn’t charge for the labor. So after a mistake made by their team they more than made up for it in my eyes.

They are always prompt and professional with attentional to every detail. It is also great that they will take you home, and pick you up again when your service is finished. They do everything they can to assure you are pleased with their service!

I got lucky,, found this amazing garage through AAA while looking for emergency service. They were able to fix my 04 Sequioa same day. I compared their prices to Toyota and found they offer AAA discounts. I Saved a few hundred dollars and they even gave me a complimentary oil change. I now have my go to guys in Redding.. I took my truck to Advanced Automotive for wheel bearing replacements. While it was being worked on they checked the brakes and found them in need of replacement soon. I had two separate appointments and both times they printed out a complete evaluation, estimate and recommendation before I agreed to the work. The staff in the front office was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Cody and his mechanics did the work in a timely manner with full explanations of every detail done to my truck. I was given a ride to and from my home across town when I dropped off and picked up my vehicle. They are professional in every way and I feel fortunate to have found them. Probably not the cheapest place in town but the mechanics that I have the most confidence in. You get what you pay for. I have a great SUV and needed to decide between engine replacement or scrapping the vehicle. The owners and staff tolerated A LOT of questions from me and were very patient as I waded through the pros and cons. ended up getting a new engine installed. They did a great job. Including inspecting the engine that was delivered, finding enough things wrong with it they were able to force the manufacture to take it back and send a new one with no additional freight charges. Highly recommend. Now if I could just get them to work on my boat.......

The folks at Advanced Automotive provided thorough and courteous service. When additional work was needed they communicated it well to us and provided options to us. At every step they were sensitive to the costs of the repairs, the down time of the vehicle and the affect it had on us.

The team at Advanced Automotive knocked it out of the park. I called on Tuesday and said the car has a transmission fluid leak and dropped the car off Wednesday morning. By mid-afternoon they had diagnosed the issue and were able to fix it the same day!!! :) I picked it up on Thursday morning and they had already ensured that it didnt leak overnight assuring me that the leak was repaired. This shop stands behind their work and makes it hassle free. Jennifer in the office is a customer service super star. Seriously dont look any further--take your car here. Price was outstanding.

I was coming down I-15 on a family vacation when my Suburban lost oil pressure. I sat on the the side of an off ramp for 30 minutes calling repair shops. I got the same answer from each of them, that they were scheduled out a week.I was starting to despair a bit when Tim pulled over in front of us and a quick diagnosis and then had us follow him to Advanced Automotive. There, the receptionist arranged a hotel, bumped someone previously scheduled (I hope they were understanding. We were grateful.), and personally drove us to the hotel. The vehicle was ready by lunchtime the next day.If I had to spend a day sitting at a hotel with unexpected car trouble, Advanced Automotive made it as pleasant and fast as possible.During my wait, I had opportunity to chat with Tim and other employees. Every mechanic has all possible certifications. They are as honest as can possibly be, relentlessly friendly and cheerful. I cant say enough good things about them.

My first experience with this repair shop..A+ 5 star Customer care and quick, inexpensive, competent auto repair...They gave me a ride home and picked me up..They washed the poor old 98 Subaru and even set the clock in it...$250.00 bucks..Now It shifts better than it did when I bought it in 2002..Still in a state of shock..I was expecting to have to replace the transmission or take it to pick and pull..

Really appreciate how thoughtful these guys were in the repair of our Suburban. I had come to these guys before for minor repairs/maintenance but never needed any major work done. I took my truck to Advanced Automotive because they were close to the house and it was overheating. Ill continue to make Advanced Automotive my preferred car repair service in the Redding area. They were honest, fair, and reasonably priced. The owner went out of his way to make a timely diagnosis and repair of my vehicle. I cant say enough about the integrity and quality of work demonstrated by Advanced Automotive.

Every time I go to them they give me options and sometimes even recommend less expensive options. They have proven time and time again they have my best interest in mind and while they are a business they care about people too! We broke down here about 3500 miles into pur 4000 mile trip. The truck went into limp mode while we were stocking up at Walmart. This place had great reviews and was AAA approved, so we had the truck towed there. Turns out an exhaust leak melted a bundle of wires in the wiring harness and they shorted out. Truck started smoking when they pulled it in. The people here were very accommodating, explained it all to us, and worked hard to do things right. They coordinated with the muffler shop to fix the exhaust problem. We feel good about getting back on the road with our 30ft travel trailer to finish our trip.

We couldnt be more happy with the service we received from Tim and Cody at Advanced Automotive. We felt like they treated us fairly in price, were honest with us and did excellent work on both our Buick and Chevy 15 passenger van. We highly recommend them.

Very knowledgeable staff, very helpful. This seems like an odd thing to comment on but I am really impressed with their work order/receipt; the amount of detail about what was worked on, what the electrical readings were and the compression readings on the engine cylinders were - Ive never gotten that kind of detail from an auto mechanic before.
