Great beer, horrible bartender. We are regular customers and tonight while visiting with a friend and finishing our beer were asked to leave if we werent ordering another beer as people were waiting for our table. I wasnt even finished with the beer I was drinking,,very disappointing.

We enjoyed ourselves here! Some great beers on tap. I was sad that we just missed their sours. Very friendly and helpful staff - we are from out of state and the staff had recommended some good places to us to check out! No food at the taproom but loved how we were able to order from NIU Hawaiian BBQ two doors down and it was delivered to the taproom for us to eat.

The beer is great here. The IPAs are good, the Hazies are better, and the Kettle Sour we had was even better. We walked out with 3 4 packs too, so thats pretty good. The facility itself was pretty standard and there was an outdoor area as well.

Fantastic beer - saw the word brewery from the parking lot at the grocery store and thought itd be just another up-and-coming spot with too many IPAs and not enough character. Boy were we wrong- its tough to find a good Scotch Ale in California and Fall River certainly has a fantastic one. In fact, their whole selection was eclectically varied and each beer has its own great personality. Finally, a place where the dark beers outnumber the IPAs! I actually like that they didnt have a food focus or anything distracting like too many TVs or a busy atmosphere- its a brewery and their focus is obviously their craft beer, which is refreshing. This is a brewery where you can bring one of your favorite beers to share with the owner and discuss ideas on his beers vs yours, and in a candid setting. Id go here once a week if I lived in the area! Pleasant surprise and again, I recommend the scotch ale!

Cool people, both patrons and employees.Good drinks and music. Pricey compared to a market but thats always a given at any pub.No complaints. 4 stars because nobodies perfect. 😉

FR is more than a local staple! Its beers are spreading through the networks, high flavor, high character, high abv. Always on point!

The beer variety is excellent, manager and help are so personal. The facility and bathroom are very clean.

Beer is great, kinda weird strip mall location but once inside the taproom, the environment really works. Nice patio and pups welcome inside and out. Tried several different hazy IPAs and they were really nice. Friendly staff!

Fantastic place. Delish beers. Covered outdoor seating. They live dogs. No food but you can grab a sandwich next door and eat it in the Tap House. Highest-rated place in Redding for good reason. *Thumbs Up*

This place makes delicious 🍺. I feel so fortunate that one of the worlds greatest is located in my home town. The Hexagenia IPA was my favorite IPA, until they came out with the Lazy Hazy IPA. . .Then the Blood Orange IPA. 😋. Oh, and the Irish Coffee Cream Stout is the best Stout ever!

We were the first ones in the door today. What a great experience! Awesome environment, and our waiter was friendly and energetic. The tap house had cooling misters and swamp coolers for the customers, outside. Delicious beers, Blond Ale, Porter, and Cream Stout. Food is available from Niu Hawaiian BBQ right next door. Social distancing in place. Top notch operation, thanks!

I LOVE Fall River Taphouse. Seriously one of my favorite places to go to. The bartenders are awesome and love to talk about their beers. Really comfortable feel, too. Not a typical bar atmosphere, which is nice. Ive even taken my kids here, and they get fancy root beer :)

This is the wierdest bar ever....Just spent the last two weeks travelling California from craft brewery to craft brewery ... What is this place? It is in a supermarket car park...and also we ordered two different beers and they tasted EXACTLY the same! Really disappointed, because this place had great reviews. The lady was nice, the only positive thing about this place. There are better places, and Ive been in this town 5 minutes. Dont bother!

Fall River isnt just great beer in Redding, its great beer period!If you love a great IPA, you will really enjoy their Hex.

I dont write reviews often, but honestly I love Fall River Taphouse. They have an excellent selection of their beers and the atmosphere is great. If i really had to explain why i go there: 50% is their wonderful beer (theres something like 12 beers on tap) and the other 50% is Brent, I have not been to ANYWHERE that had such an involved employee so dedicated to the craft. I dont know what they pay him, but i recommend a raise.

Strange place. We were lured by the rating but its a wannabe craft brewery with no soul or style. Boring people, no atmosphere. Just what you should expect from a taproom in a supermarket parking lot. Beers are OK but they boast their menu serving one beer under several names. There are definitely much nicer and classier places in town.

Best local beer. They let you bring in outside food, which is nice because they dont offer any. Really nice, cozy atmosphere, they even let you bring in your dog. Outdoor seating as well brings it all together.

It would be fair to say I have drunk enough beer in my life to float a fairly substantial boat, so I am not easily impressed. I ordered the Copperhead Lager. I have never tasted a better beer. I live Los Angeles and will be driving up to Washington again next summer. I wouldnt miss a stop at the Fall River Brewing Taphouse to save my beer soaked soul from eternal hell fire.

Great beer for sure, especially the widow-maker! Inside ambiance mixed with their outside patio is a perfect match. Employees are very friendly and pleasant to talk to. A heads up about the widow-maker, This drink comes in a sniffer glass meaning it has a high level of alcohol so drink wisely.... :-)

Excellent beer and service (thank yOu Mark for taking such aWeSoMe care of every one of your customers, including the four-legged friends 😊). We enjoyed the Irish cream stout, lives up to its name, the Widow-maker, a delish and deceptively smooth double IPA, and a custom combo, 50% each of the Hexogenia and NumbNumb which wasnt the perfect combination of bitter and juicy for me (in fact, we filled a growler of it to go).

Always has been and most likely always will be my #1 go to. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable and the beer is even better. Ive yet to have anything less than a great experience there.

A nice, cozy little taproom with a good selection of beers. There are a few TVs, a bar and a half dozen or so tables for seating. I didnt see any food items available but its right next door to a Hawaiian BBQ restaurant with several other food places within walking distance. The typical selections are 10 or 16 ounce glasses with a five beer flight also available. While there were mostly IPAs and dark beers when I visited, I imagine the selection varies from time to time. I will be revisiting when I get the chance!

Its hard to believe that one of the best breweries in the country has their Taphouse in my home town. They are exceptional. I consider Hexagenia to be one of the best beers Ive had in my life. I also enjoy how they also experiment and do different things for fun. Their St. Pattys Day Irish Cream Stout was a fun divergence for me from my usual IPA. While they dont serve food, they encourage you to bring your own in our have something delivered. Luckily theres a decent burger place in there same parking lot. If you are in Redding and you like beer you have to check Fall River out.

All of their brews that I tried impressed me, and Im not that easily impressed. The DIPA and Hexagenia were absolutely top shelf. They do not serve food but there is a great little burger place in the same parking lot. Order a Burger and some sweet potato fries to go and carry it in to Fall River. They happily allow outside digs! Dont pass this one up!!

Fantastic beers and great service with great prices to boot! Firat tried widowmaker in fall river mills then tracked them down in Redding and took a chance on their Scottish red kilty pleasure. I was not disappointed-it was amazing. Service was excellent andpersonable, so,Thanks guys!

Tried a 5-pour sampler of their Hexagenia (IPA), Kilty Pleasure (scotch ale), Batch #397 (session ale), Norcal blonde, and Copperbock (german lager). Enjoyed all but the Hexagenia was especially fantastic.

The brewery is not actually on this premise but they have the whole lineup of beers that they brew. Its a small little spot in a strip mall with a lineup of freaking incredible beers. You can do a sampler of the brews but only choose 6. We chose all of the hoppy beers: the widowmaker was one of my tops. Love the name. All of the IPAs and the hoppy pale ale was out of this world.The guy behind the bar was cool, they had college football on as all of the guys at the bar commiserated together about the World Series, game 3 and the Giants loss. We ate pizza and drank beer to help with the loss.Fall River sells growlers, the beers off the richter, and I highly recommend it!!
