Doesnt even deserve 1 star. They take advantage of desperation. Its sad a business like this is allowed to operate. Not even close to fifty percent.I took a ring in and was told it was 2.5 grams. I thought thats not right, so I went to old west down the street. They told me it was 2.5 pennyweights but not something they were interested in. Gold mart same thing 4.3 grams tested real not looking to purchase. Went back to the silver and gold cash for gold desperate for gas money. Told them about the differences in weight. Still wouldnt budge on original price 50 dollars for 4.7 grams of 18k. I got robbed by this company.

I brought in a 12 gram placer nugget. They tested it at 22k. Even though it is a solid piece of gold they said they had to send it in to be evaluated before they could give me a price. I declined. Never let your gold out of sight for any gold dealer. They make used car salesmen look like honest people. I did sell a gold coin for spot. Only place open during this pandemic that would buy it. So for that they earned one star.

Do not trust this place and do not waste your time here. I went here today to sell some gold pieces, and because I had read other reviews warning about the inaccuracy of their scales I decided to go to another place in town with certified scales to see what their offer was in comparison to this place. There was over a gram in difference on the weights, and that’s a big deal when you’re selling gold. They even had the nerve to offer me less than a third of the going melt value price per gram that day for the pieces I brought in. Will never go back again.

Im a regular customer and I absolutely love this place! Both girls that work there are super sweet and very knowledgeable.They have great customer service and always give the best selling price. But if you do find a better deal than them (which I doubt you will), go back and tell them and they will meet or beat that competitors quote. Im always happy and completely satisfied after leaving. Ill be continuing doing business with Sliver and Gold Exchange. Thanks for the amazing service!!!!

I am a regular at this Store, I will not go anywhere else besides here. The employees are very helping and always kind toward the customers. They offer the best prices over all other gold exchanges. The store is always clean and welcoming. I rate this place 5 stars or more .

So today July 29, I went to this store so I could get my small vial of gold weighed and sell it to them!! This is gold that I panned with my grandsons! Well I went in and first thing this woman behind the counter told me is there were too many impurities in it and she could only pay about 1/4 of its value! Then she proceeded to weigh it out and told me it only weighed 4.3g ! She then said the most money she could give me was $70.00 !! So I told her I was trying to find which store would give me the best price!!! So I left and went to The Gold mart on hilltop drive in Redding, CA. When I got there this very polite gentleman said the weight of my gold was actually 5.4g and that I had cleaned up the gold very nicely and he could offer me $167.00 !!!!!!!!!! So not only did they try to short me 1.1 g but also short change me $97.00!!!!! In my opinion no one should trust this buisness!!! Im going to tell all my friends to boycott this thieving store!!! Sincerely in major disappointment !!

There scale is wayyyy off and last nite the chick offered me $90 for my gold that weighed 8.8 grams!! Her scale said 5.7 and I went and sold the gold for $400!!!! Do not go to this place unless you liked to be ripped off.Period

Called this shop and was offered $150 under spot for a 1oz Gold Canadian maple leaf. Ive never been so insulted by an offer before. Other shops in town pay Spot or $15 under spot.Be very careful when selling coins to this shop, check with at least 3 total shops for a quote before you sell.

I called to see if they were open on Saturday they said they were. Here I am five minutes after I called there is a sign saying they are running errands, will be back in 30 minutes. It’s been about 45 minutes now and still no one. Not very good business sense. I’ll have to go somewhere else.
