I always enjoy shopping there. The prepared food is always good. They have the lowest priced Kombucha in town. If checkout lines get long they bring out more employees to man the registers. Its a very pleasant experience.

I like Holiday a because it still has the small town friendly feel. And I can always find what I need.

Their deli is one of the best in the business, the turkey sandwich I had today was excellent I enjoyed it Ill be back soon.

Holiday sandwiches are the best and a decent price. Always nice people behind the counters. Dont forget your free soda with your sandwich. If you just need one or two things its a good stop as their prices are a little bit more higher than the budget stores in the area. As long as you know your prices, you will not overpay. Just watch out for that double priced Chef Boyardee LOL. Overall I like shopping at holiday much better than those cattle grazing budget stores.

I went in to Holiday thinking I would be safe here. There was a sign on front of the entrance saying, “Masks Required”.I was shocked and appalled to see people walking around in here WITH NO MASKS and NO ONE saying anything to them! I am at HIGH RISK for COVID and can’t believe that a place that I mistakenly thought had some class was NOT in any way enforcing the mask MANDATE in spite of what you read when you enter. I’m calling the health department so they’ll be fined!

The prices are about equal to Safeways. The cashiers and floor associates are very kind and helpful. I havent walked in there and found a frown on any of the employees faces. Yes even with there masks on! Very clean store.

Its a great corner market. Excellent service and selections. Tasty sandwiches and they carry my favorite pineapple hard cider.

Hadnt been in the store for many years. I was very impressed with the store this last visit. Good inventory and selection. Store clean not everyone wearing masks. Only down side was the check out clerk who was crabby, not engaging and made me feel like she didnt want to be there.

Small grocery store, but very friendly employees. They have the best deli sandwiches in redding hands down. And they will orders customer requested items. Never ling lines. Unfortunately they have a pretty small butcher section and no real bakery in store (they do make their bread there though).

Its a very clean store and the staff are very helpful. One more thing, theyre covid-19 aware and make sure there customers are spaced apart(social distancing). Its good to have a conscience community of people

Holiday Market is a great place to stop in and get your groceries. Staff has always friendly and helpful to me. Visit the deli for some delicious sandwiches and side dishes. They have a great lunch special, too! Careful in the parking lot, it can get busy at peak times.

It is my go-to market in Redding. Not a huge store which is nice for getting in and out quicky yet still have a good general selection of quality items. Very good booze and beer selection. Sometimes I feel the prices are slightly high but I keep going back. My other favorite store is the other Holiday off placer. Big and kinda fancy but love it.

To small for its location. Prices are high but hey, I needed to get some stuff for dinner fast. Friendly people working there.

This store is almost like the original Whole Foods. They have a great selection of organic stuff, even an entire aisle devoted to it. It can be a bit pricey here, but you pay extra for the convenience, as most stores are located in rural areas. Its always clean and well staffed by friendly people. I personally dont mind paying a little extra for a store thats close to home and friendly like this. I wouldnt recommend it for your monthly food shopping visit though.

Best sandwiches in town. Great ready to eat pre-packaged meals next to the hot food serve your self area. I have a lot of severe food allergies, but I can eat most of the things that they have here. Also the bananas at holiday are the best in town.

See EDIT below:Produce spoils fast like its not fresh. Ladies in the deli can be rude or completely ignore you. The rest of the employees are all really nice and extremely helpful. The store is a small market so the selection is limited but they are getting ready to build a new one across the streetEDIT: Justin the produce director contacted me directly and he was a really cool guy. He apologized for the freshness issues and assured me that he would address them ASAP. I was very impressed with the level of customer service. Im changing my review from 3 to 5 stars based on customer service.

This is my favorite place to shop during the week for my fresh produce. I love the deli too. This is an employee owned grocery store. The people are always accommodating & very happy. I have not tried the meat in the meat dept. I love how they have a dedicated aisle for organic food.

Variety of produce, organic items, fresh produce bakery and deli. Great tellers - nice helpful and always a clean store. You can actually shop for everything or a quick stop for items needed. Meat department will cut your meats in desired slice also. Never have bought an out dated item or had foods spoil.

This is the number one supermarket in Redding. Number one in organics, the staff is the friendliest you will ever see and the deli sandwiches are some of the best youve ever had. The meat department seems small but has more cuts than most and other store. The staff will make you feel like family and they pride themselves on how friendly, helpful and knowledgeable they all really are. It is an employee owned store and the employees care about that fact. Most of them treat the store as if it were their own.

Weird people shopping there...weird as in homeless types outside and inside the store. Store was fine, to be clear.

My favorite Holiday Market. You can request the store to order a product that they may not carry. An amazing part of an isle that carries natural and organic products for skin care, hair products and handmade soaps.

Holiday Market is definitely one of the best locally owned food markets around. Their main problem is the cost. So if you dont mind spending a bit more, its worth it. Definitely better than the big supermarkets on Cypress Av.

I have been shopping at Holiday market from their Hartnell Ave location for years. I have shopped at many other stores in town but I kept coming back to Holiday Market because the quality is far superior to that of other stores. Their prices are competitive and since I shop their frequently, my Holiday card and the points I earn with it save me even more money. I know most of the employees by name, and they know me. The store is always clean, the people that work there are friendly and go well out of their way, above and beyond to help me. The feeling I get when I go into my Holiday Market is that Im family, and thats just not something Ive gotten anywhere else.

We use them weekly for business (Top Hat Energy inc), online ordering, and the sandwiches are delicious, and almost always perfect, except that they will not put sauerkraut on the Rueben sandwiches, and thats the only reason for 3 stars. They have a good setup going, but please reconsider offering sauerkraut! Good job otherwise. The hot food deli is a little overpriced, but the value on the sandwiches is really good.

Wish I lived near one of these still. Im sitting here eating a deli sandwich and being reminded of all the times Id walk to Holiday from my house just to order one of their delicious deli sandwiches. One of the ladies (she had blonde hair, but that prob doesnt narrow it down) there actually I think knew what I was going to order since I came in every Friday. It was sort of a ritual. Deli sandwich, soda, chips, and sour straws. Nothing better than that there, son. Beats Raleys, Safeway, and any other delicatessen Ive been to. This one also has a great selection of premade stuff in the refrigerated area next to the deli. Well, it was there at least when I lived there 5 years ago. If you live in the Enterprise area of Redding, Id suspect you already know this place well and go there since its convenient and extremely worth it.They also had a program (not sure if they still have this) where you could redeem points you collected by virtue of purchases, for a 1 topping large pizza at Round Table. I redeemed many pizzas in my 15 years living in the area.
