Contrary from what Google says, Larry Mears Gunsmithing is NOT closed, and has never been closed not even temporarily!

Old West is a pawn shop with about half the store devoted to selling new and used firearms. Larry is not the owner of this shop, hes just the gunsmith who works in the back. Larry has worked on three different guns for me. He does good work at a reasonable price, just dont ask for anything fancy or super custom.

I brought my full size M1911 that was functioning perfectly here for an enhanced reliability tune. When I finally got it back it jammed constantly. I took it to two other gunsmiths and they told me too much steel had been removed and I needed to have a new frame and barrel installed.

I took a rifle in here to get repaired the work was excellent the turnaround was quick and work was inexpensive great quality work and I will be going here again

These guys are not very nice. Very rude and they dont seem to care about you. If you are reading this beware of them they dont even say hello and I felt like they where ready to shoot anyone.
