Almost always have what I need and pretty helpful folks as well. Not as big as those other stores so easier to get what you need and back to your project.

Exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Called this store after calling the Ace on Hartnell and the experience couldnt have been more contrasted.Ive also visited this store several and have always had great experiences.

Nice, clean store with a large selection of items to choose from. I love ACE, but I usually go to another store that’s closer to home and is a bit larger in size. I will go out of my way to come back here simply because of the polite and courteous employees throughout the store. I will say there are a lot of children out front when school lets out, but it’s not too bad just a lot of walking traffic.

A long time former satisfied customer, I went shopping for my new home this weekend. The credit card terminal would not process my $600 dollar purchase. The middle age store supervisor lady was extremely abrupt and did not explain that their CC terminal was malfunctioning. I left the store up set. When I returned with cash to purchase the most important items, the same supervisor gal saw me re-collecting some items (about 30 minutes after I Ieft) She cynically stated to me, Now, you cannot continue shopping here to try to pay by credit card AGAIN, WE are going to have to put all of your merchandise back AGAIN!! I let her her finish bantering before explaining that I returned with cash to assure a smaller purchase. I completed my final transaction at Ace Hardware on Eureka Way in Redding with cash. Regretfully, I will not return as Im not sure that I can even use a credit card & just will not shop in a negative atmosphere. Bottom Line: A) A simple explanation that your credit card terminal has been experiencing difficulties would be professional. A cashier later explained the glitchy terminal malfunction yet the supervisor denied any malfunction.B) Do not blame shift or make your customers feel like we are a bother. A little empathy would be humanity like, not to mention Professional.C) Its too bad that one bad experience can drive a long term happy customer away. May she learn that mis-directed anger toward customers is not the best work ethic. I understand that everyone has a bad day now and then but this interaction was just WOW. Even after verbally explaining my side of the story, it is clear that her main ojective was to be right . Ive learned a great lesson over the years, Its not WHOM is right...it is WHAT is right It felt as though her staff were walking on egg shells as well. What happened to my amazing Ace Hardware?

Friendly staff. Always attentive and helpful. Clearly, they deal with a lot of theft and that explains their attentiveness. Their friendliness and kind demeanor when they assess me as not a risk is worth it.

The only place who had the Benjamin Moore product I needed without ordering. Very helpful staff. Appears trying hard to keep people safe too.

Great place with friendly employees. However they do have a sarcastic side and will just stare at you while you struggle to get into the store. They will continue to stare until you realize it says PUSH not PULL 🤦‍♀️ Thank you lovely people for the ego check 😂🤣😂 definitely coming back!

This ACE was pleasant and useful. They had what I wanted. Plus, they gave me a free jar of kittens! Cute!!!

Very helpful place people were nice they had the vegetable plants they wanted they do not have those strawberry plants but they said they were going to get more in and the tomato plants I bought one of them even had little tomatoes on it so I was very pleased.

If its hardware or tools or supplies.. this is the spot! Save your valuable time!!

They are always helpful. They helped me get a broken riser part out of my sprinkler head and helped me find the right parts to repair my sprinkler line.

They always have what I need

Used to be very happy with this ACE but the costumer service has really fallen. Not enough people working this store to justify ACE hardware prices. They really dropped the ball yesterday on me and today they cant even manage to pick up the phone. If Im going to waste time I might as well shop on the internet and save half of my money.

Great selection great support

The associate Johnathon in the service section towards the back helped me figure out the problem with my tool and how to avoid that problem with understanding and courtesy. I would highly recommend them and this store. I have yet to go in and be disappointed by the help and selection of products.

Ally I think was her name and, she was a new Gal, was very helpful. She knew what I was talking about when taking off an old toilet seat that you have to clean the holes of the toilet base seat underneath and all around and disinfect. My regular gal was also there but she had been helping someone else at the other end of the store. All of the employees there have always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I work at a competitor store and I have to purchase things at Ace to do my job at the other store. So Ace gives me their pens to put on our clipboards. my store no longer carries several items so we all have to work together to keep our community going.

Better than Lowes or Home Depot

Ive always been able to find everything with the help of the employees. Plus I like the smaller store setting. Home Depot and Lowes feel overwhelming to me. I like Ace and have no need to shop elsewhere for my hardware needs.

Very nice selections,wide variety.i little pricey but thats the cost for convenient right downtown.5 stars should be reserved for exceptional,personalized service as well as whats already mentioned, that said,Ive been coming to this ace since it opened,Im on one of your contractor accounts.and I never used to get id.ed but as the faces (employees ) have recently changed again .I feel like I should be on a first name basis.but even after showing my Id and them checking the account several times a week.for them to not know my name is why I didnt give 5 stars.though I have nothing but good feedback for this ace.i feel there may be room for improvement.if only to please my own stubborn feelings.Also nobody gives you guys enough credit for an outstanding specialty nut and bolt selection.for any need.Thank you for not selling out to a bigger Corp like the others did [email protected] thanks for gettil

I thought I would need another case of 6 cans of a particular hard to find color of spray paint for our patio furniture, but after painting some more I didnt need the case I had ordered through a nice young man at the Eureka Way, Redding, CA store. Even though he wasnt able to take payment over the phone, I called the next morning to cancel my order. Nellie was amazingly kind in handling my call. I would highly recommend this store!

When you arrive at the store it doesnt look that great but when you enter the place it has a nice home feeling. It was all organize for easy find. Plus they were having great deals and their employees were very nice and helpful. Great place to go.

This place has rental equipment to do home projects. Total plus. And a large store that has most you need. Staff is great and very helpful.

This place seems to carry everything these days. A bit hard to navigate through but, a very friendly and helpful staff with comparable prices.

For a store smaller than some big boxes, this store always has just what I want. This place is my go to for unusual fasteners or connectors. They rent a good range of tools, and party supplies. The cashiers are super nice. Their membership rewards are nice too. Lastly, they have the cheapest propane on the west side.

Helpful ACE is a fantastic place to shop for all sorts of our business need today. Their customer service is the best. I bought something too much so went back for a return one of them. Their friendly assistance over my little purchase made me feel so valuable and cared. I need to update my review with the ladys name who made the transaction smooth at the cash register later but she and Joe have been just amazing! Perhaps all the staff has been extremely helpful during the shopping.Thank you Helpful ACE!

Well stocked hardware store. The have many seasonal or unusual finds along with the usual stuff you would go to a hardware store for. There is usually enough staff running around to anticipate any questions you might have. The stall is very helpful and knowledgeable

Prices are about what you would expect from a hardware store. They always seem to have everything Im looking for and more. Its not a huge warehouse store like Lowes or Depot. You get prompt customer service as soon as you walk in... Everyone is always asking if they can help you! Great customer service and selections on building and repair products!

Very friendly employees for the area they have to work in. God knows how many thieves and other dirtbags they get in here. They also have a nice selection of rentals. The only hardware store Ill go to on this side of town.

Need some stuff for home repair/improvement? Do yourself a favor and stop at Ace before you go to the big box stores. Better quality on many items and about the same price. And a bonus ... you wont spend an hour looking for a $2.00 part.

Just tomatoe plants today, and a few gadgets. There plants are being taken very good care of. Everyone was helpful . Not like those other places like L___s or orchard oops.

ACE the Helpful place? Not really.Needed propane for our RV. They close at 7 pm but refused to service propane so they could be sure to be out by 7 pm - guess their hot date is more critical than customer service.Seems if you are there before closing that reasonable services should be offered !

Very friendly helpful staff. We needed to somehow get a new light fixture to fit in our ceilling which had been damaged the last time the fixture was changed. We left the store not only with a great deal on the light but a lot of helpful tips from several staff members. Thanks!

The Helpful Ace Hardware it aint no Home Depot but at least you go in there and be guaranteed have the check or say hi welcome to Ace and have the security guards ask you what youre doing maybe its my presents the way I look but thats never happened at Home Depot
