I really enjoyed the owners, the shop, and the overall experience! Super friendly and fabulous pieces. We will be back again for sure! Highly recommended
This is the best real antique shop around. David the owner is extremely knowlegable about antiques. This is not a junk shop. He has quality items for sale. I love shopping there!
Wonderful Antique world. Very friendly atmosphere. Blown away by A+ merchandise. Great prices for top antiques one just doesnt find anymore. Very pleased with my purchases and highly knowledgeable owner.
SO much wonderful stuff ... Huge store with many treasures so plan to spend some time there! Bought many items over the years and visit often as inventory changes often. If you love vintage, it is a must go!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!I have never encountered such a rude business owner in my life!Had to unfortunately leave without an item I wanted, because the owner was really rude and snarky. Seemed annoyed that I would even want to purchase anything from his store. The item I found had the wrong price marked on it (the tag from the estate sale where he purchased it, is what the owner told me), and when I asked the owner how much he wanted for it instead of what the tag read, he tripled the price! The worst part is when I commented on his social media page, he proceeded to verbally attack me. Accusing me and my mom of being a gang set out to ruin his reputation, calling me names, accusing me of putting the wrong price tag on the item myself, and threatening that I better step foot in his store again. As if I would ever anyway.Owner has zero customer service skills, lots of complaints from real customers and consignors, and is beyond rude. Owner claims he has thousands of happy customers, but on a Saturday afternoon, the store was empty. And the store smells horrible too! In hindsight, Im glad I didnt bring that piece of furniture into my home, I dont think I would be able to get the stench out.Buyer beware.
Took our antiques on consignment and was a positive experience. Sorry to see his store closing. Always had good stock of anything we needed. Very nice and professional.
Amazing ! Love your new place David. Thanks for all your help I will definetly be back when I get another Saturday off.
I am not an antique shopper. My lady is, but she uses a wheel chair. There was one ramp going up to the store. The proprietor had placed a lot of antiques out on the sidewalk so that their store was more visible. I had to move three of these antiques to fit the wheel chair through the antiques on the sidewalk, and around a corner to get into the store. I misjudged the spacing on antiques around the corner, so we knocked down a set of shelves on the way in.Id feel bad about misjudging the spacing on the corner, except that it landed in grass so it wasnt damaged. Also the proprietor misjudged the spacing on EVERY CORNER in his store. My lady mentioned that it was a tight fit, and the proprietor immediately went into an apologetic speech about how he was usually more handicap friendly, but theyd gotten so much inventory from the move. The proprietor immediately offered to help clear a path, and offered to bring us whatever we wanted to see. Of course, we didnt know what we wanted to see, because we came to browse. So, we followed the path he cleared for us.As I cautiously maneuvered the chair through narrow aisles, and tight corners, the foot rests of the wheel chair bonked into things, and the rims of the wheels scraped and pushed against 100 year old valuables with prices that were higher than my last 6 months paychecks combined... because the path the proprietor was kindly clearing for us was not wide enough, and most of the pieces were too big for him to move out of the way on his own anyhow.we would get about halfway down an aisle, and run into a piece that made the aisle too narrow for the chair, and which was too expensive or heavy for me to risk trying to force the issue. There was NOWHERE AT ALL IN THE WHOLE STORE where a wheel chair could turn around, so when we got to these points, we would just have to slowly back out way out the way we came in... down long aisles just wide enough to fit the chair into, with corners that caused the chair wheels to ride up above the floor against some piece of expensive antique. My lady mentioned that she believed there were codes for widths of aisles, and 42 inches was really good. The proprietor believed that widhts of aisles was 36 inches, and hed been through this all before at the previous location. She politely added that at 42 inches, you could interact with things. He said something else about sue-happy nit-wits.I went on a magical mental journey to a land where I wasnt jamming a 38 inch wide wheel chair down 36 inch wide aisles of overpriced items. It was a beautiful, and magical land that I visited...A magical land where a proprietors anger at sue-happy nit-wits wasnt costing him a fortune in inventory damage that he had to shut up and eat lest someone get uppity and call the fire marshall on him again.A magical land where people can wheel themselves around antique stores in wheel chairs without fear of backing up or turning wrong, and getting crushed by some fancy brass thing they couldnt afford in the first place... Where someone in a wheel chair doesnt require two peoples help to get halfway down an aisle before they realize they cant go any further, and where if, God Forbid, a fire should start, they, like anyone else, could turn around, and get out, rather than needing someone elses help to carefully roll them backwards through a labyrinth of junk they dont quite fit through going forwards.Stores aisles are too narrow. I was ready to run out screaming already. If there were a fire too, my girlfriend would be toast, because theres no way she could back out of that mess in less than ten minutes. Also, the proprietor was being a jerk. Tell me more about these sue-happy nit-wits and the fire marshal.
