It is a nice Indian grocery store in neighborhood. You will find all the needed groceries. But they are not well managed and they have no return and no refund policy. So, before you buy, think twice if you really need it.
Please note while buying Samosas and Any curries, please carry your own salt. Also, make sure you carry a stove to complete the cooking of Samosas
Very conveniently located. Great number of choices
Indian supermarket. Spices all looked very fresh. Also have produce section, frozen foods, rice in abundance. Everything needed.
Though at good location and number of items in groceries available but very unorganized, not properly cleaned and looks like a storage place instead a groceries store. Billing area is very small. May be visited when necessary. Only one thing is best, that is Samosa.
Good Indian store but badly organized looks like a godown more then a store. Other swagath near lighthouse is much better
Overcharged prices...they are openly charging prices higher than the mrp on the product...I am now never going to buy it from them...many other alternatives available now with new mayuri and other Indian shops nearby
Today I went to swagath and have seen many products that are expired and going to expire in a month or two. It was tedious to look each product and purchase. Bad experience today. Unfortunately I realized I purchased one that is going to expire in 2 months. This is the picture of boost that I was going to purchase and noticed that its expiring the same month. If you are willing to sell this atleast put a note to the customers to verify the expiry dates. Who is responsible when something happens.
Very rude behavior from new employee at counter. She does not know how to talk and greet customers. Old employees were good. Our friend circle decide not to visit this grocery store. Store manager need to focus on customer relationship, due to new employees they are losing customers.
Dear Store Manager/Owner, I’m posting this review hoping that it contributes to your store’s growth, so I and many other customers can continue to enjoy a variety of Indian stores and a great selection of products. Positive: lots of options, items I’ve never seen @ other stores and a great/convenient location. Opportunities: several reviews have pointed out the store feels chaotic: I agree, the freezer section in particular, seemed as it had been raided in the middle of snowmaggedon! It also feels like there aren’t any intentional efforts focused on merchandising. The other great opportunity is to share some sort of customer training with the front of the store people: both of them seemed completely detached from their role as the face of the store and their impact in the image the customer takes away from the store. Avoiding customer interaction, texting while scanning products or between customers and just not being present are behaviors that could be easily corrected and, if resolved, could reduce the number of reviews that mention poor customer service. I have to agree, right now, not the greatest customer service.
They have good variety of Indian cuisine products but I often find the cashiers rude. If you bring your bag, they are so impatient with you and keep making frustrating noise until you put all your stuff in your bag. I wonder how fast they expect us to be. The biggest problem is the missing product tags. Sometimes there are incorrect tags which is even more confusing. We bought a rice bag last time and got billed ~3$ more than the price tag. On questioning them, they simply answered that whatever price the system has is correct. How are we suppose to know that before buying?
Very bad customer service. MSRP usd$ price written on the packaging is not honored and the price is I floated by 50 to 100% over MSRP. Unethical business practice. I wont visit this place again.
Very good collection of All possible items from India. Clean and hygienic
Get all indian stuff we need . Staff is helpful .Discount is offered on purchase of 50 or 100 dollars .
Expired, rotten stuff here. They dont return stuff and very finicky
Great sweets amd snacks.
The place is not best known for hygiene. Also the price labels are never there to be found.
One of the worst place to go for groceries, they are taking advantage of monopoly they have for Indian stuffs, and are charging double of all groceries.
BEWARE!!! False advertising. They show different (lower) price for products on the shelve and charge higher price at the register. I noticed it and complained to the manager. She tried to give me all kind of justifications but later amended my charges upon confronting. Please make sure to check your receipts to ensure you are being charged the right price.I wouldnt even go to this store again.
Convenient location and good prices, however the store could be better organized.
Good quality veggies and other Indian grocery. Better price. Downside only couple of checkout counters, so during rush hours - can take more time
Wow! This place is so much bigger than it looks like from the street. They had quite a selection. Not the friendliest cashiers but, maybe that was because it an Indian store and my redish hair and white skin make me stand out like a sore thumb in that setting. But I want to go back, and will, and hope to learn how to buy and cook some traditional authentic Indian cuisine.
Indian grocery store in Redmond.. nice location. Reasonable prices.. It needs some improvement in aesthetic appeal...
A good range of items but the staff members(specially at the counter) are very rude. They should understand they are not doing us a favor. In-fact we help them keep their business going. Our payment took a little time than usual and just as 5 seconds were done the lady at the counter started making a pch kind of sound and kept doing it every 5 seconds till we left the store. Would give this 0 if possible
Good customer service. You find almost every indian grocery here.
Rude customer service!!! Learn how to behave with customers/people, not just counting money! I hated the lady at the front. They have some authentic stuff from India like Tata Salt, Bambino vermicelli which you only find in India, I go there for these, however, the customer service is rude. period! Dont know if that will change ever!
Store definitely has a lot of goods for sale but the entire store needs to work on cleanliness if not for arranging stuff neatly. The store people could definitely benefit from a sales/customer service education as they clearly lack it. The easiest thing can do is at least remove the No customers allowed sign for their area where customers are actually allowed and moreover a lot of stuff is in that department.
They have online ordering and pick up at the store which is convenient during the pandemic. But the prices are much higher than apna bazaar. I had been ordering at Swagath all these days but will stop from now on unless they bring it down comparable to other stores in the area.Edit: I see that the owner has made adjustments to prices after my review. Thank you for that. I am editing my star rating based on that. It would be great if you could provide the pick up window time at the time of ordering. Currently, after I order, I have to wait for the call from Swagath to know when to pick up. Other stores let me know the time of pick up when place the order.
Indian groceries and condiments. Its big and gives everything that is required for daily grocery
Clean, well laid out, and especially wonderful staff at this location. The smoothie/coffee bar team is the best I’ve interacted with. Super friendly and helpful.
There were no prices mentioned for most of the items in the aisles.
They carry quite a lot of Indian groceries, but is limited to mostly south Indian food taste. They can work on cleanliness of the store as other Indian stores around are way cleaner.
Samosas and bondas are must tries!
You get most of items what an Indian family usually needs. They do carry good variety of snacks, vegetables, rice and flour. Also carry some hot fresh snacks like Samosa or Mirchi Vada on weekend with a price tag but nice to have during your weekend trip there. Staff is friendly as well.
Little expensive compared to other Indian stores
Indian grocery store in Redmond, airy from groceries there samosas are quite good
It is so unclean and dirty. Everything is scattered out here and there, random boxes wherever you go. There are bugs in the store and sometimes they are even in packets! The store needs more cleanliness and proper arrangement of products. I would suggest they pay attention to this problem. Perhaps work on it for a month or two! Or I would suggest to customers to go to another store.
Poor customer service even during difficult COVID period. Some prices are double when compared to Shoperies or Mayuri. Back room looks unhygienic with frozen foods and packaged foods all over the floor.
Good store but problem is with their Labels when you buy loose stuff, Masala Peanuts Snack next to the counter is around $4 and the bill says it is 300grams. When weighed at home it is 250 grams so if you take out the container may be it is 200 grams.Told them, nothing changed. Not a big deal but no honesty is not good. Most of foods don’t even have a “best if used byDate“ on it.
Very unorganized. No price labels displayed below the items and it becomes hard to choose and decide what to buy. There are no helpers for assistance if we cant see and find something. Moreover, even if you find someone then they will simply ask you to find by yourself.
The most cramped and unhygienic Indian store. They just have 2 counters for the size of the store they have. I bet you always gonna find long lines that seem never ending. During this COVID they dont seem to care about wiping the carts or baskets. They lie outside the store soaking rain and dirt. Atleast they could put some wipe station that customers can use to do the job.I give 2 stars just because of the location.
Good location and its large store with many items. I wish prices are placed next to items and freezer section is unorganised. The rice/wheat flour section is kept well and like wise other areas. I hope they arrange and tidy up freezer and fresh produce sections.
This is definitely a store to avoid during pandemic. Even with 10 people in the store it becomes crowded. Everyone is just 1ft away from each other. It’s not that they don’t have space, it’s not organised at all. I don’t think they don’t know their problem but our “chalta hai” attitude never allow us to fix things. I laugh when the lady ask me to keep the basket outside (this is their way of fighting corona) . The other person taking the same basket without even cleaning it so not sure how keeping a basket outside helpful.Having said that the store owner should take same serious major to keep its own employee safe. God bless them and keep them safe .
The quality is amazing. Fresh groceries are always in stock. A must go to for indian products.
Poor quality rice and they dont accept exchange. Worst idly ever made at home due to the rice
Good shop
You can get all Indian specific stuff here. Staff though generally friendly, sometimes are less customer centric. (May be they are tired). They can organize shelves better so that customers find what they want quickly. You get 5% discount if yourequired bill is above $50.
Nice place for Indian groceries and spices!!!
Items are not arranged properly and prices mentioned on the racks do not pertain to respective items at many rack locations. We have brought this to the attention of the store personnel but no effect
Good inventory, cramped space, long queue at counter..
Has all needed Indian Groceries. The arrangement is the store is very messy. Had mixed responses when asked about the location of items to the workers up there.
The cash counter lady is super annoying with her behaviour.
Great place for Indian Groceries and is at very convenient place too. Staff is very friendly and appreciate their help and support to Indian community during pandemic
The reason grocery shopping is awesome. It has a huge variety of products.
There were options & variety, but all the items could be little better arranged. Theres lots of room but needs to be used better.
Wide variety of Indian foods (all Vegetarian) and spices. Some prepacked frozen and dried foods, treats, snacks, general staples and a small selection of fresh fruit and veggies.Prices seemed competitive. I will definitely be making frequent stops at this store.
This store is huge! It has so much selection. I found everything I was looking for and more. They even have the gallon size of yogurt drink. Yummy! I will definitely be back soon.
Absolute ripoff, never going to step foot again here. Apna bazar and other stores in Bellevue area are much more economical.
Staff seems arrogant, no transparency in pricing, messed arrangement
I got swagath yogurt from this place. The yougurt itself very loose and taste is very sour. Had to throw away and they charge 3.99!!!
You would be able to get most Indian groceries here. Not as much selection as Indian Supermarket or Apna Bazaar but enough that we have not had any inconvenience. They usually give a 5% discount on our overall bill.
Entering this store will leave a big hole in your pocket!1. Rude staff - horrible “slap on the face” answers.2. Expensive and rigged pricing.Your money, your call!
If you are not Indian the staff is very rude unwilling to help and will sometimes pretend not to spaek or understand English to get out of helping you
Fresh groceries. Very ambient staff . A must go for indian food products.
Great. But not have online order.
If they could have more organic produce/grains would be amazing.
Has lots of products needed by south Indians
Best Indian grocery place around Bellevue Reond area
Had everything I was looking. If the church next door is in session... hard to get in and out of the parking lot. Great selection otherwise.
Indian grocery store that meets most of your produce and grocery needs. Staff is friendly and helpful. Although I would say that most of the items are overpriced. they have a really good selection of Indian snacks so if you are looking for hot samosa aur pakoda then this is the place to go to. If you are a Microsoft employee then make sure you ask for a discount
Great place to shop for Indian groceries. It has opened relatively recently(July 2017 I think) . They carry a great selection of rice as well as lentils. They have a dedicated snacks section that has a variety of brands like haldirams and deep. I often find they advertise very good discounts on their frozen section. The prices are very reasonable and better yet you get the prime discount too...!!!
This one is an okay indian store. Not properly organized.
The staff is very friendly and courteous. Theyll go out of their way to find what you need. Id suggest visiting on weekdays when it is less crowded. The management also has a feedback system where you can suggest a product that isnt usually available, and they will try to get them for you. I had forgotten my credit card at the billing station and they made sure I got it back safely.
I love this place and I gave it two stars only because none of the products are organically grown and their is a lot of toxic margarine and canola oil in many of the products as well as some colours which are synthetic. I will shop here much more when the products are without toxic artificial chemicals.
Recently opened in Redmond. Huge place. they are yet organizing stuff but does not disturb your shopping. Lot of things need to be added to there shelf. You get all festival items to shop here. it has limited parking. There is a temple bear by which will have lot of visitors during festivals and weekends during which parking might be tough
One of the most rude and arrogant cashiers I ever met. Will definitely not come again.
Good small store that has most things of Indian needs
Close by, quick grab on groceries . Prices are slightly high. Customer service could be better
Easily the most poorly stocked of the various Indian groceries in the area.
While I have no issues with the location and selection offered(thanks), they really need to match the price on the counter with that of billing. There would be a minimal 10 to 40 cents difference and many may not go back and request refund as it is very minimal. This has happened with me many times and luckily i saw the difference yesterday and when I went back to ask, she had no regard for the error or was not even apologetic. Buyers please be aware of the price at billing counter, they may not always match. They also should list the price for each item on the counter.
Bought the idly batter that is their home made brand idly batter only to find a coffee cup lid inside.
This place could be so much better considering the space they have. You will find most of the things you need but a little less organized.
The place is always in a disarray and they price gauge quite a bit, you can find better quality products in other Indian stores at usually much cheaper prices
Awesome store for Indian grocery. Very well stocked. Helpful staff.
If you want to go to an unhygienic, disorganized, unkempt shop with discourteous service enjoy shopping here. Absolutely no social distancing practiced here - so beware!
Good selection of foods but the prices are not displayed for all the items(like snacks) in store so its hassle to have it checked everytime at the checkout counter. Vegetables at times are stale (like today). Afternoon time the store is partially closed and you need to request employees to get the stuff needed from the store(hassle again).
Great huge store. Good vegetables and Indian grocery.
Good location. Just of the two temples in Redmond. Product selection is good though limited on vegetables. The flow of the store is weird as they seem to have got two places and making it work as one.
Checkout experience is worst....improvement in layout is needed in covid times.
Pathetic is the feeling I get when I go to shop here. I’ve seen expired food items on the shelf for sale. Sometimes you will find items on discount that are about to expire in a week or so. Seen frozen food in big boxes left outside the fridge, noticed some of the items were completely thawed & then put in the freezers. This is awful. Complete disregard to hygiene & food storage norms.
We went there in July 2019 to pick up some basic things we needed. The store is not so clean, has a back area where all the boxes etc are lying around. This was still ok, just a visual thing.Fresh vegetables were not so fresh and the bad part ginger was lying in a basket on the floor with roaches/ bugs all over it.Also it’s expensive on all the items we bought. Not returning for sure.
Check expiry before buying each item!!I bought expired items a few times and realized after taking it home. I had to throw away few small expired items (esp snacks) just to avoid another trip to the store
Pooja items are available
The grocery is placed at the right location. It saves us from the journey for us to go to Bellevue for Indian groceries. It is quite spacious. But they open the entire store only after 5:30. Until then only a section is opened and we have to request the cashiers for any items that we dont find. The cashiers are helpful but this causes inconvenience and waste of time. We can get fresh vegetables on some days but never on weekends. Ample parking is available.
They need to organize there things properly, it’s scattered around the store sometimes it becomes difficult to find particular thing. No proper display of pricesOtherwise pretty much everything is available at a descent price.
