Fast service and fair prices

Ive recently transferred my tower to my Surface Pro. Rather than replacing the tower, I opted to keep the large desktop screen and purchased the SP dock, for my home office alternative. The adapters at the Microsoft office store did not work on my older 24 screen and sales people there suggested I go to a computer store. I took my screen and laptop to PC Doctor in Redmond. What an unexpectedly good experience! It was not a straightforward fix either. Within 20 minutes of resetting monitor, new permissions, font size corrections, new power cords and adapters, it was working fine. Throughout they were friendly and kind; the bill nominal. I will definitely be returning, should we have another computer problem. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to others as well. What a find!

I always thought that the PC Repair was a scam (based on my prior experiences) until I visited this store to repair my personal laptop. These guys are authentic! I have to mention the person who helped me with great care - Achilles. He is knowledgeable, helpful, patient, customer-friendly and trustworthy. My laptop crashed all of a sudden and I had an exam in two days, Achilles helped me immediately by handing me out the hard drive as a portable storage device like an USB. I was able to get the all crucial data and prepare for my exam! He is a lifesaver. He understood the time-sensitive situation and acted upon it. I would like to really appreciate him for this help! And no, neither him nor the store asked me to write this review. I made this decision myself to write this honest review for the excellent service they have provided and let the people use their service for any computer repairing needs.

PC Doctor is a fantastic place to get IT help. Ive used them for the past 9 years and have always done a great job. Theyre polite and patient with me. And they work quickly and thoroughly. Im happy to give them a great review after so many year because I feel they earned it. Theyve built four computers for me, recovered my hard drive and just recently diagnosed my laptop for problems. Also, their prices are really reasonable. They have a humble little office, and theyve always come through for me when I need them. If you are considering using PC Doctor for a broken computer or whatever, give them a shot. Theyre really good.

I have been pleased with several services I had performed here: replacing a DVD drive in my Vaio laptop, correcting small problems with various computers, etc. However, this week Andrew went above and beyond to help me keep an old but important PC going. The motherboard had failed. He sourced the exact motherboard for a perfect match and replaced it. Then we discovered that MS Windows 10 had errors at its original (upgraded) install. It took hours on the phone convincing MS that there was a problem with their product. Andrew stayed with the issue and solved it. All the while, Andrew was delightful to work with and easy going. That really helped! I couldnt be more pleased and I give PC Doctor and Andrew highest praise! Way to go!!!

Like many of the other reviewers, I think these guys are great! Took care of a mac with a dead keyboard and a PC with a dead motherboard for me. Courteous, prompt service, knowledgable techs, and a good price. I dont run across many service companies that I can say that about. Will definitely use them going forward and recommend to friends. I love this place. Their team always goes the extra mile for me. I have had several computer hard drives and a motherboard replaced by them. Ive also purchased a re-built computer from them and had a MacBook Air screen replaced by PC Dr, which was 2/3 lower in price than what Apple quoted me. They were really friendly and knowledgeable. He knew how much my laptop was worth before I even told him how much I bought it for. He gave me a couple different options for fixing my computer and turns out the least expensive one did the trick and my laptop came back as good as new.

PC Doctor saved the day! My sons laptop died during finals! They were open on Sunday!! I had an online coupon that waived the $45 diagnostic fee. I was updated on the progress within an hour. It was repaired within 24 hours. The price was much lower than expected. Everyone was so nice! We used to go to a different repair company. PC Doctor was faster and less expensive!

Service is everything. Not just doing what you said you would do, but being open to the possibilities of what is there that can be done. Being open and willing to see other options to solve a problem. That is what I experienced with PC Doctor. I took my little RCA Tablet to them because the batter was not charging. The charger port had some how become loose. I received a call within the hour indicating that they would not be able to fix it as they could not obtain the replacement part.So I drove back to get my little RCA Tablet. August was very kind in describing to me what he had encountered. And his description came with a big BUT WAIT. But wait? I asked. He said, did you know that your RCA Tablet has a mini usb port and your tablet will charge from there. I did not know that. You just made my day! Week! Month!That little extra observation August made, made a huge difference for me. And it is the little things that can make the biggest differences. Thank you August for your willingness to be observant and open to exploration.

This is the second time Ive used PC Doctor and both times the service has been excellent--fast, friendly, and inexpensive. The first time was to fix a broken touch screen and the second was to replace a bad hard drive. Andrew did a great job both times, and I will definitely use them again the next time I have an issue!

The company I work for had been having email issues so we called PC Doctor and they sent someone the next day to look at our problem. Unfortunately it was a problem within the website I am using so they were unable to fix the problem. Great customer service, and very prompt to address the problem. I give PC Doctor a 5 star rating, according to the advice and troubleshooting they did to resolve our problem. We will definitely call them again. Plus they didnt not charge us for the service call.

I have used PC Doctor twice, and both times they gave excellent service at a reasonable price. The first time was retrieval of files on a hard drive that had been overwritten, and the second was a problem with a wireless adapter in a laptop. Highly recommended.

Ive dealt with PC Doctor twice in the past 2 months. The first time was attempting to assemble my new gaming PC. The motherboard was dead, so I had to spend over a month getting it replaced.Yesterday morning, I dropped the new motherboard, and the rest of the parts off. By midafternoon, they had let me know that the CPU edges appeared bent, and that they doubted they could get it to work, but would try.Much to my surprise, by 5:30 it was up and running and ready to pick up.Professional, courteous, and all around a pleasant experience.

Free diagnostic; they called me back with results promptly the next morning. Excellent customer service, and they seem exceptionally competent. Very pleased with how fast and accurate they were.

We have called PC Doctor many times for help I needed on our computer and havebeen always so pleased with the service each time. They have always been promptand on time. We have had a young fellow named August each time and he isespecially thoughtful to explain everything clearly. I am 85 years old now and thereare so many NEW things that come up that I am not quite sure of and he alwaystakes time to show me the problem and fix it for me. I had these folks come over to the house to install a wireless range extender to improve wireless signal to the extremities of our house. the technician showed up on time, was neat, fast, knowledgable and did a great job. would recommend these folks to tech projects that are beyond ones immediate realm of knowledge.

I brought my computer in which needed a repair and paid and extra $25 for same day service on top of the $45 diagnostic fee. As it turns out, the extra $25 only gets you your diagnostic the same day. I then had to wait another 6 days before I could pick up my PC since the part had to be ordered and pay an additional $205 for the repair itself. I would have expected a place like this to stock some common parts (i.e. a motherboard). At this point the repair at least appears to be done correctly which is why Im giving this business two stars, but I only went with them because they implied they could fix it the same day when I called ahead and came in. So I paid $275 to repair a computer which I paid around $450 for and I had to wait 6 days to get it. At least the computer is fixed, but this place has some very clever pricing strategies to over charge the consumer.

Any minimum QA would have indicated that the work was not completed. But I had to figure that out on my own, simply by switching on my PC.

When a problem occurs, such as virus attack, hard drive failure or memory upgrade etc,,, I always have good luck with the guys at PC Doctor. This time I had problem with an imac, When I brought to PC Doctor, no problem. FIXED!!!.If you are, like me, still need a laptop, a desktop for more real jobs, keep the PC Doctor name handy. OK!

Super fast service & great communication. Dropped my laptop off with some computer guy that was a family referral while down in Portland on business and he had it for 3 days and could not identify the problem. Literally as soon as I got back in town I dropped off my computer. I needed it fixed asap as it is my business laptop and I was losing money and jobs by the day. They got it back to me the next day and replaced my Hard Drive.Sure, I paid a premium for the hardware and could have done it myself for cheaper, but it was worth it to me to pay the money to get it fixed properly and be back in action. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that the labor cost I was charged was much higher than I was told over the phone but, again, I was perfectly ok paying them what they wanted for their service. Gary Lin at the Bellevue store was a great help determining the probable cause of a major loss of picture files I have experienced. He patiently took time to listen to and understand what happened to me, then explore what might have caused the problem.

Ive been a customer of PC Doctor for many years, over a decade. Ive always found their service to be impeccable. THey even did house calls to fix PCs infected with malware.But after bringing my PC in when it wouldnt complete a Windows update, they told me I had a failed hard drive. They replaced it with a Seagate Barracuda HD. With 3 months, I got an error that my PC wouldnt boot (it couldnt locate the HD).I decided to take the HD to a different repair place. They diagnosed a failed HD. When I called PC Doctor they told me the HD they installed was out of warranty and offered a $25 credit for the repair. I said no thanks and will never patronize this business again. HDs shouldnt fail after three months and if they do somethings wrong with the HD they installed. They should stand behind their products and their service and they didnt. Nor did they respond to an e mail I sent informing them of my dissatisfaction.

I ran out of troubleshooting resources for a home-built computer that stopped booting after several years of reliable service, so I called PC Doctor to see if they could run some diagnostics and swap various known good components out to isolate the culprit.I dropped off my computer on a Sunday morning, and 15 minutes later I got a phone call letting me know they found the problem (turns out the brand new replacement video card I had purchased elsewhere, as an early attempt at troubleshooting the problem myself, was broken!). Luckily they called me before I even had time to drive out of town. I reside about an hours drive away from PC Doctor, so their prompt service was appreciated.Paul was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and treated me with respect - neither talking down to nor above me.Later that afternoon, I ordered another replacement video card online, which of course worked just fine a few days later, after I received and installed it. Im glad to have my computer working again.I should have visited PC Doctor sooner!
