My girlfriend had never had an English breakfast, so I took her here. I knew she would like it, but I was blown away by how great everything was. Probably one of the best interpretations Ive had the chance to try, and took me back to memories of tea at my (English) great grandmothers house when I was a kid.The server was fantastic too! He was there with whatever we needed before we even knew we needed it.The cheesecake isnt a boring cheesecake either. The texture was perfect and combined well with the blueberry topping.

The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks on tap. I love the atmosphere! It reminded me of all the pubs in the UK that we had visited. The store inside is so quaint and actually sells items from the UK! I will definitely be taking my friends and family here when they come to visit.

Thrilled!! to know this place is still here after all these years. Used to visit this shop decades ago when I lived in Redmond. Now upon returning, it is wonderful to recapture and renew a connection to all the good people, good treats, and specialty items here. This visit we bought shortbread wedges from the bakery case. And of course these tender beauties put to shame the national brand in its plaid box. So light, scrumptious, perfect! Also got some other treats, including a plum tart and a jam tart. Theyve got a variety of what I would call hand pies or pasties, with meat filling, and they are also good. What really attracts me, personally, is the friendly service and the assortment of hard to find items for my baking needs. Golden syrup, custard powder, lady finger cookies, all sorts of teas, everything I dont want to be without. Top it off with gorgeous gift wares of cups, mugs, trays, tiered cookie serving pieces, and more. Glorious bit of happiness here, from old memories to the opportunity to make new.

Really good service. The environment is very old school with a british twist. At the three lions the customer service was excellent with non invasive check ups and great food service. I really enjoyed my time here and the bakery around the corner not only has excellent baked goods as well but a whole section if nick knacks that will be fun for kids and tourist. Its a just see spot if you plan to visit Redmond. Heck it may be one of the reasons you stay in Redmond. Overall a gem for the Redmond area.

Absolutely love this place. One of the few places I have found where I can find South African import goods in the greater Seattle area. Their pies are always excellent. I particularly like their steak and mushroom pie. They also offer an excellent selection of ciders. All of the baked goods on offer are always nothing shy of excellent. Best Nanaimo bar around town as well. If youre a fan of chocolate eclairs, but prefer cream filled rather than the standard custard you find most places, this place has you covered.

Restaurant serves delicious food, very friendly staff too! Recommend the shepherds pie. My only complaint is that the peas had no butter or salt but everything else was fantastic. The store portion is lovely and the baked goods, absolutely delightful. Relived days of living in the UK and will joyfully return.

If you are looking for the real deal in a British Tea Room and Deli this is it. I have been going to this establishment for over 25 years and have never been disappointed. Their pastry is the absolute best! Authentic and delicious meat pies, pasties and sausage rolls and their desserts are to die for. Their chocolate eclairs are the best. Dine in for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or afternoon tea. You wont be disappointed. If you want to take some home, the deli and shop offers everything on the menu for take out at a fair price.

As a Brit living in the area, these places are humane and vital for getting British supplies and goodies. Although many of the items are very expensive they have come a long way and by various modes of transport. My suggestion would be to have a mailing list for shipment deliveries so that we dont waste out time going to the store when stocks are low. Those days are depressing but there usually a good selection of baked goodies even then. Always hope for more marmalade and chocolate goodies. Also Bakewell tarts and more varieties of tea in bigger boxes. Overall, though, great place and a comfort.

Scones are to die for, tender and making good use of butter and golden raisins.Tea is British, but not the fanciest - its the same brands you can buy in their attached grocery. I got their Royal Tea menu and found their dill and cucumber cream cheese sandwich and sausage roll were delightful. Not a huge fan of their Bakewell tarts, which were a bit dry- the jam layer seems to have escaped/shifted.

One of my favorite spots in Redmond. The staff are super sweet; I go there frequently and there’s always so welcoming and they remember just what I like. Scones with jam and creme are amazing; the jam is so yummy. I recommend any of their English classics, like the Lanchashire Pasty. Their tea time is also nice, and they do have different options at tea time. The bakery next to it has items from the menu and more to take on the go; I recommend the jam tarts as a sweet snack. Check it out!

The pub has good atmosphere, great service & good food. The beer selection is usually really good, but they cant get certain brands right now, unfortunately- like Old Speckled Hen & Smithwicks. No fault of the pub. I normally get the ploughmans platter with a cheese & onion pie instead of the meat pie, but they were out of the former last night, so they substituted extra cheese & bread at my request. Hubby got bangers & mash, which he said was good. Theyre open at 50% capacity now. Bring your ID or no service- no exceptions.

The British Pantry is one of my favorite stores in Washington! The restaurant is a cozy room that will surely remind you of England; it sounds plain but the classic ham sandwich with split pea soup is one of my favorite lunches. The bakery offers tons of delicious fare; I load up on pies (steak and mushroom is delightful) and freeze them to keep a few weeks supply handy for easy dinners. The store offers loads of imports; its a must-shop for Christmas! Orange Club bars, Heinz beans, Smarties and more. Theres also an impressive amount of cups, mugs, teapots, etc. I love this store and no matter where Ive lived in Washington, Ill make the drive to Redmond to visit. Highly recommend!

The fish and chips here are the closest weve found locally to the fish and chips in England. The afternoon tea with cucumber sandwiches is also delicious, but to make it more authentic, I recommend buying clotted cream from the shop when its available and bringing it into the restaurant to use on your scones, which are served with whipped cream instead. We also love their cheese and onion pasty, Lancashire pasty, jam and cream sponge cake (similar to a Victoria sponge), battenberg cake, scones, and bakewell tart. We stock up here on Vimto, salad cream, Heinz beans, Devon custard, Paxo stuffing, Oxo gravy, marmalade, clotted cream, and so much more. Were so glad to have a touch of England here to ease our homesickness from time to time!

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with this place. During COVID, I did the trifecta almost every week: Trader Joe’s (across the street), bubble tea and then this bakery to get my fix of Lancashire pasties and plum tarts. The pasty crust is consistently perfect and flaky and well-priced for the size compared to other pie places in Bellevue. But it’s puzzling why a lot of their counter servers are hot-cold, mostly cold. Maybe it’s the stiff upper lip?We haven’t tried the restaurant yet cuz COVID and the market has a ridiculous selection of gorgeous tea paraphernalia and British goods. Makes me miss Waitrose and Marks & Spencer a little less.

I have several friends here, originally from British Colonies, not Englandproper. They are accustomed to eating this food, particularly what they call British Christmas Cake. It is similar to our fruit cake with a white icing and decorated with holly leaves and berries. The cakes are small. They are very popular here, so it is best to order early. My friends enjoy lunches and tea here.I have noticed that the very polite wait staff is sometimes young and not familiar with the food. They have not always been adequately staffed so sometimes there is a wait for food. One side of the British Pantry is a bakery and store, the other side is their restaurant. I do like going there.
