Rebuilding my inline 6 in my 63 nova, I installed roller rockers. Because of this I had to switch from stock 9.685 rods to 10 to get my valve geometry correct. All the classic car guys told me to give Smith Brothers a shot. The rods I wanted were out of stock, but when I ordered they called me, told me I would have to wait, or they could send me a slightly different rod that would still work. Great customer service, great product, quick shipping. I will be using them for all my future pushrod purchases.
Have ordered several custom length and design pushrods for performance diesel engines we build. Never an issue, quality and customer service is great.
I have ordered from Smith Bros a few times. Top quality product at a great price. excellent value!
I spend an average of $100K a year with this company. They are one of the few suppliers that deliver a quality product in a timely manner for a fair price. This type of service is hard to find in this industry anymore and I am lucky to have them as a supplier.Chris StraubCEO of Straub Technologies
505 performance has been doing business for 15 years great company
Ordered a set of custom length pushrods from this group and was very specific about how I needed them constructed for a zero lash application. The product they sent me was not built to the size I requested, and when I called to complain about this, they informed me that they build +/- .005. Many of the pushrods didnt even meet that spec. But I had them measured by second machine shop to verify that my measurements were not off, and both measurements were the same. So once again I called and was told to return the product for replacement or refund. So once they receive the pushrods back, they magically measure just within their +/- .005 mark. And I was told they can shrink or expand +/- .003 by temp. That is a new one to me. Do yourself a favor and buy from a different company! There is one with way better customer service than this place!
