Im always impreased with their service. . No one was on the floor so l asked a cashier for help while she had a line she was editing on. She was very respectful and very helpful. Selection was outstanding. Ill always shop at Michaels before Ill even consider Hobby Lobby. Religious fanatics like them will never get my business. And their open on Sundays. Thank you for having a quality clean store. Youve earned my business.

I was able to walk into this clean store and be able to find exactly what I needed without assistance. Everything was clearly marked. There was no unnecessary clutter. The employees were attentive and sincere.

Michaels store continues to do what it does well. Smiley faces and good service, they were transitioning and so shelves had new merch going up, but the staff was available to help with questions. I wanted Christmas decorations and that was what I was heading in for, but I will surely return because of great environment, customer service and shopping.

This is a craft store and is so fun to shop at. Lots of stuff to make decorating things here.

This Michaels was terrible, they only had one cashier rining at the time we entered the line which was already 5 customers deep. The cashier then ended up getting stuck helping a customer with her coupons. Thats fine and all however call for help or apologies to the 7+ customers waiting to be helped... after about 5 minutes of waiting a second cashier finally showed up to help ring customers. There were other employees working in the store that could have come and helped but didnt for whatever reason.

Be cautious if you are ordering a low stock item for curbside pickup, they will substitute the products without permission and make you wait in line for a return. I went to Michael’s was to get the product today but it looks like I’ll be ordering online elsewhere.

I went there in Reno (Kietzke) because earlier that day my experience at another similar store was devastating, next time it will always just be this Michaels in Reno. Nothing else compares. Michaels... is the place we go whenever we feel CREATIVE! This last visit was to get supplies to decorate my sons Science Invention Display Board! We walked in with my 7 yr olds great ideas... then seeing their huge selection of craft items...we left that store with a bag full of my sons visions and his huge smile! He told me on the drive home Ya..I got this! He was right...he did. He got 100% for his Science Invention and Display Board. Weve done crafts together since he could hold a crayon and being able to SEE the ideas in his head put on paper...to me is PRICELESS! 😍❤

They have an amazing supply of holiday decorations with incredible savings. 50% off on everything seasonal, including lights, table top christmas trees, ornaments, etc. Fantastic bargains, and all excellent quality! I bought two candles, HAVEN ST., at Thanksgiving. The burning capacity proved to be outstanding. Ive had to be careful with candles in the past because the wicks get submerged in melted wax very quickly and you lose the glow. These HAVEN ST. candles at Michaels are not like that at all...you get a full burn with two wicks for the life of the candle. Plus, the scents are amazing. Cranberry Orange is my favorite. I am going back today to get more and take advantage of their two for one sale!!

This was my first time ever walking into a Michaels chain, the location is very convenient and the store itself is very easy to navigate and very clean. The reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because some of the prices were extremely ridiculous for what they were advertising. Maybe Im just out of touch with the truly dedicated hobbyist side of DIYs and such but I honestly cant fathom spending $22.99 on a 3 1/2 footlong stem of ivy with 2 singular flowers at very odd placements. Overall the experience was pleasant, the staff was pleasant, the store was refreshing, but the prices shocked me.

Staff is awesome, selection is great and the sales are outstanding. At least check it out.

I hate how the aisles are places and filled. I constantly think Im going to knock something over, mind you Im extremely small, so shopping here actually makes me feel uncomfortable and gives me anxiety.

I was at the Reno store today and one particular employee, Rachel, was absolutely amazing. I could hear her interactions with every customer and she was not only funny and friendly but offered assistance and made suggestions. I just wanted to commend her for being the perfect example of what the customer service experience is all about 😊

Good hobby store especially because they treat people fairly unlike some other hobby stores I can think of... like the lobby one. Michaels is much nicer, especially during COVID because of the mask policies.

Inept and rude. Beware checking out since they will not readily discount items as advertised. I bought something on sale for 3 dollars and the inept rude lady kept on ringing 19.95. I told her that this was not right she rolled her eyes and then did a n other thing on the register which brought out the correct price. I hate to use the word but she was an A _ho...indeed.

Michaels has really lost something in the 20 years since I worked here. It used to be staffed by enthusiastic artists, eager to help you with your medium, now it feels like they hide from you, or appear clueless if you ask them for anything other than the location of the restrooms. I was sorely disappointed with this visit, and the seemingly barren shelves didnt help any. Even in strange times, I anticipated a more personable experience.

Even though they usually dont have what Im looking for the store is clean and well organized.... The people on the floor are very polite and helpful and check out is attentive to customers needs....

The lady worker there look at me and don’t open the door don’t said nothing.I drive around half hour ago today Saturday April 24,2021. Horrible store!.

Totally not caring about face masks! Had to go in for curbside pickup (yes, its true) and then had to stand in line to get my item. At least half the employees didnt have masks and the person behind me and the one in front of me had none. The one in front of me decided she should lift her shirt up and over her nose and mouth (I guess that mattered when she saw me with a mask) So, if you care about face masks, dont use Michaels, order from them online.

It was ok, crowded and the customers were rude. The store was clean, well stocked and I was able to purchase what I need.

I went today to get a last minute order done. I needed vinyl. I prefer the Spanish springs location to the reno location. Much more friendly customer service and the employees make you feel welcome and like they want to help. Cant say the same for the reno location.
