The service team (esp Johnny) at Reno Cycles and Gear are awesome. I had an appointment scheduled that somehow got dropped from their records and my son showed up unannnounced with a Dragon sled that had a long list of work needed after I rebuilt the top end and the suspension. They took us in graciously and did great work. The machine is running better than it did from the factory! They were on time, right on their estimate and super commuicative. I wish they were closer than an hour away, but I will still make the trip for all my cycle/sled service needs. Highly recommend!

Staff is awesome, store is clean and very well maintained. Looks like some remodeling is going on which is always great to see. The service was above and beyond. Several of their staff came outside to help and see if we needed any assistance with loading up our purchase, the guys behind the counter are very knowledgeable and have awesome personalities (depending on your own specifically). They may be on the younger side, but they answered my questions and several other customers as well. I wish they had more cycle specific accessories (LEDs, whip lights, panels, windows, aftermarket parts) as well as personal accessories (helmets, riding gear, womens apparel and hats). Other than that I prefer their store and staff to our own local one and will continue to purchase from Reno Cycles and highly recommend them to others. Great job 👍🏻 guys 😉🏍️🚦🛒🥽

Came in with a speaker problem from another dealer, Johnny and Pedro helped me diagnose the problem. We realized one of the speakers and the main harness for the radio was not plugged in at all. These guys solved my issue in no time! Great staff, great people!

Looked at buying a new quad for a long time. The sales guys were super cool when I looked last weekend. Filled out credit app online to save time. Got approved. Dropped in to talk to the finance person who approved me, she said she’ll be with me in five minutes and to wait in showroom. No problem. I realized I just dropped in. After 45 minutes of waiting I left. 15 minutes later I get a call asking if I’m still in the store, to which I say no. They apologized and said they were slammed, but when I was there, it was me and an older gentleman waiting. Nobody else. While on the phone, I asked if I could order the quad I wanted in a different color, it comes in three, and she said would email the response back as to not waste any more of my time. And she did, but said the colors in stock In the store were blue and camo, which is cool, but that wasn’t the question I had asked.I was ready to buy a quad today, approved even, and based on that experience, I’m having second thoughts and will probably buy used.

I was in South Lake Tahoe, i was having some engine issues. I called Rey from Hollister, he referred me to Reno Indian. I road 53 miles to see them. They drop what they were doing, fixed the issue and done an oil change within a hour and a half and got me back on the road. The owners name is Bill. I would give the a 10 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟, but they only allow 5. 😹 if you have issues and you are in the area. They are the bike shop. They had it diagnosed in minutes. Thank you a million.

While its a Victory dealer, other than motorcycles, there is nothing of else of Victorys in the store. No apparel, no accessories, keychains, nada..Kinda a disappointment as it was my sons birthday and he has a Victory so kinda was disappointed at complete lack of Victory products..I did buy a non branded item but not what I wanted.

Cant say enough good things about Paul in parts. He has taken the time out to answer every one of my questions and has promptly ordered my parts, given me unbeatable deals, and is very professional. I would highly recommend using Reno Cycles and Gear for all of your parts ordering.

Went into shop today to purchase maintaince parts, fluids, filters ect and resolve a clutch cover that is rubbing in the clutch assembely on a new 2020 Polaris xp 1000 with 300 miles and less then 25 hours of use on it. Was willing to buy a new cover so machine wouldnt be at dealership waiting on cover for 2-3 weeks, was quoted 165$ which is list price, talked to manager to see if parts could be swapped from another unit, or get part at wholesale to make it easy for me and them, and even do labor myself, couldnt get through our conversation without being cussed at so just left and wont be returning anymore to purchase any units or parts here unbelievable customer service for spending well over 35k from reno cycles and gear.

Ive been looking at the Indian Chieftain for the past year or so. Buzz had an abundance of patience with me. Always helpful in answering my questions and never pushy. Last month I told him Im ready to buy, but want a red one. He found it, the last one on the west coast for 2016. The sales transaction was very smooth and Im very happy to have the bike. I have two side by sides I bought here. I found the owners, office personnel, sales. service, and parts people to be extremely helpful. In my numerous dealings with everyone here I have experienced excellent customer service and feel that they have a personal commitment to every customer. Having dealt with other dealers, I feel this group could be a benchmark in excellence for others.

When in to look at Indian motorcycles and 3 wheelers was thinking about getting a slingshot but Im too big of a man for them dont fit the big man no love lol, the sides by sides were nice was looking at it for my road dog, It took a while for anybody to come ask me if I needed some help though.

Big changes in the service department. Last year it took over 6 months to get my snowmobile repaired and I recently just had warranty work done to my snowmobile and I was in and out in 2.5 days which included a warranty claim with Polaris and a part that had to be ordered in. If you were disappointed with the Service Department before you might want to give them another try.

Love these guys. Bought a new bike a couple months ago and just stopped by to check out some items I wanted to buy. The guys all remembered me which was awesome. Nobody is perfect, but with that said, I have had a very good experience dealing with everyone at this dealership.

******UPDATEAfter the manger saw my review they refunded me the storage fees. Nice to see them make it right.Dropped my bike off in September. After I told them what I thought was wrong they diagnosed several other issues, but still didnt fix the original issue, I get a call in April telling me the bike has been done since January, and they have called to let me know several times and i owe hundreds in storage Fees. Btw I have picked up another bike since January, why didnt they tell me then. I checked my call log cant find these multiple calls. O well I USE to spend thousands of dollars a year there. I have my own Indoor storage, why would I want to leave my stuff there outside in all this weather we have had. If they actually would have called I would have picked it up. Its my kids bike and he asks all they time when we are getting it back.*update- Kim has always been a sweetie, after she read my review, she apologized and refunded the $250 in storage Fees. Guess I should have marched straight into her office at the beginning of this situation.

The salesman that we got didnt seem too terribly interested in trying to sell anything. Im in sales myself and we gave all the buying signals to show that we are ready to drive a Side by Side away today. Made it really clear what I need to do to sell us a 20000 + dollar vehicle. In the end its his commission check, not mine. I cannot recommend buying from these guys. Update: Another more properly motivated sales person sold me a RZR Turbo S today!!! Lets ride!

When Polaris says No to something they are willing to get on the phone to their Rep and fight your case and get things handled.

The kids talked me into a 4 seat Polaris General with all the bells and whistles. Dealt with Bill, the owner, and the the experience could not have been better. Prompt, honest and fair priced. That same attitude carried over into the parts department and service department as I order an upgraded wench, front and rear lights, 1/2 windshield and gun rack.

I couldnt have asked for a better buying experience than what I got with Buzz! He doesnt use any high-pressure sales tactics, but rather lets the products speak for themselves. After a slight mix-up with prices, Reno Cycles and Gear held up its word and honored their quoted price. A couple months after my purchase, I had some technical issues with the bike, and the owner called me personally, stayed late to ensure I made it back safe, and then went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied.

The owner Bill is an example of what makes America great!. My friend and I had our bikes shipped to Reno. We had no place to have them delivered. The owner of the Indian dealer allowed us to have them delivered to him. He had never met us and had never done business with us and had no reason to expose himself to this sort of thing. Then, he came into the shop on Sunday of Labor Day weekend, when the shop was closed, to let us pick up our bikes. More than that: he had them stored inside and unbelievably had washed them. Took 3wks to get my bike scheduled for 5000 mile check. Showed up at appointment time for drop off at 9am, not out till 9:55. Said bike would be done in under 3 hrs. Came back 6.5hrs later bike not done. Came back 1.5hrs later and only had oil changed. Very nice people, but just too busy to RESPECT CUSTOMERS TIME!

Never Never Ever Again !!!!!!!Made arrangements to have by Scout serviced as agreed upon, trailer-ed bike 255 miles. Dropped off on Monday and scheduled pick up on Friday. Went to pick up bike and they never even touched my bike... Oh! I guess the Tech got behind but well call you when its ready! Thats all the sympathy I received, I informed them that I had to return home after staying in town x 5 days and drove back 255 miles without being further ahead. Hell would have to freeze over before I walk back in that place.

If you ever need service for a Polaris UTV, do not take it to this dealership. We recently purchased a Polaris General from another dealer. This was necessary because Reno Cycles and Gear did not have one to sell. We were assured that all warranty work could be done in Reno, in spite of the fact that we purchased our General elsewhere. It should be noted that all the Polaris accessories we bought were purchased and installed by certified Polaris dealers. We took our vehicle to them on Nov. 2nd. They had our General for almost a week and we did not receive even a phone call regarding the service. When we went to check on it, they had not even touched it. They proceeded to tell us that they were not going to do the warranty work because we did not purchase the unit from them. After discussions with the national warranty office, we were told that it was in our best interest to take it to the original dealership. We reached out to the dealership that sold us the General and they are going to address all the issues. This, however, requires a trip to Quincy, CA. Apparently cycle and UTV dealerships do not have to adhere to warranty promises; the warranty specifically states that warranty work can be completed at any Polaris authorized service center. Reno Cycles and Gear will never receive any business from us ever again and we will be quick to tell all our recreational friends what terrible service they provide. Customer service at this business does not exist!!!

I have bought two vehicles from them and will probably be getting a 3rd in the next few months. Everyone I have ever been helped with in their store has been friendly and helpful. They also dont price gouge you on parts. I came in with a pretty solid internet price on some Maxxis Bighorn ATV tires once and I was qouted a price about 30 dollars cheaper a tire and on top of it they offered free mount! Their service department is also easy to work with and they try to get your ride done and back to you faster than most other dealers Ive used in the past.
