Office personnel were friendly and professional. Scheduled an appointment, called after a cancellation, was able to schedule an earlier appointment. Was called when technician was in route, was given his name.Technician arrived a short time later. Technician was very knowledgeable about our equipment. He was able to quickly make the necessary repairs. Cost was fair and reasonable.

The service before making the appointment was superb. All of me questions were answered. Angela actually read my messages and then got back to me quickly with accurate information. Really appreciated that. The actual install turned out to be a little different because the installer had to change the kind of base. The new seal would not go into the old base, but he had the materials with him to change the base and put on a new seal. He was prompt and friendly and did a good job.

Ask the operator first if they will charge you for the service, parts or installation. I called to request a check up or replacement of my garage door opener they told me they will send someone and when the guy came i told him that the garage door opener is broken and the one they put last time is fragile.he replaced my garage door opener and after a week they call back and collecting a payment for the garage door opener. I’m expecting for a warranty thing or factory defect thing that time I didn’t know that the little plastic brace thing will cost me $165. When they call, They want me to pay right away and if I don’t pay that time they told/threatened me they will put it on collection RIGHT AWAY. A knowledgeable operator can avoid issues like this. and please be a little polite on your customer!

Overall, I am grateful for the installation of the new garage door.With that said, there are in my opinion areas for improvement.1. I shouldnt have to request for warranty documentation. I feel this is a professional expectation.2. If there is an unforeseen issue ( faulty sensors), the installer should alert the customer of the cost increase prior to the installation. While the cost of a sensor is much smaller than the door itself, times are tough. With prices for everything increasing, I only asking for a little professional courtesy.

I’ve had them install doors on two occasions for different garages, and both experiences were exceptional. First, customizing the doors I wanted on the web was a pleasure. I got exactly what i wanted with no surprises adn the hardware was top notch (quiet DC motors and perfect insulation!). Then they come out for a consultation to check everything for size, etc. The installation itself was perfect. There’s currently a 2 month backlog to get the doors made and delivered, but that is a nationwide problem right now. I strongly recommend George & Sons to install your garage doors.

I never take the time to write reviews, but Sal just repaired our garage door and I am thoroughly impressed with the service, thoroughness, and pricing of his work. Not only did he replace the hinge that ripped off the door, he checked all the other hinges and added bolts if they needed reinforcement, he tightened the springs, inspected and lubed everything, and then took the time to help me program my extra remotes and car homelink button. Pricing was easily half of what I expected to pay. My other family members recommended George and Sons and I would definitely recommend them to anyone with garage door needs.

These guys were able to come to our home the same day we called and reset our car turnaround area heavy iron gates the same day. The contractor crew who was adding pavers had hit it and manually forced it to close instead of using the keypad to operate it so it was beeping and no longer worked. The George technian was most knowledgable about our Door King swing gate and LiftMaster electronic controls. It now works perfectly and George only charged $95. We are delighted.
