Horrible customer service. My husband asked someone where they had a certain tool and the lady told him good looking finding it. Instead of asking a more knowledgeable employee or helping him find it. Rude.

Its Harbor Freight. Theyre great if you need basic hand tools for occasional use. Some of their higher end stuff is even starting to get competitive with the brand name stuff. If youre a pro look elsewhere.

Harbor Freight isnt bad for the do it yourself repairman and enthusiast. .ost of their tools are pretty good, and if you cant afford a name brand from a competitor they have products that will help you just the same. Older lady, Dorothy, who is always at the register is very slow and rude. She has no idea what she is doing. She had to type in the phone number 6 times before she finally got it right. Why is this 70 year old woman working a computer? Her customer service and attitude is that of a 16 year old who has no interest in working what so ever. She would be better working in the back away from customers. Always go to the sparks locations instead of this dump!!

Ive been experiencing alot of problems with the employees. They have been unnecessarily rude pretty much every time Ive been in recently. I love Harbor freight, but the employees attitudes suck. Most of them do anyway. Ive definitely cut back on my visits because of the rudeness Ive been receiving.

Only problem was the woman at checkout trying to force me to listen to the return policy despite me telling her I was not going to be returning anything. I was buying that item with the intention of throwing it away when I was finished. That seemed to annoy her. Well shell get over it, or not.

I love shopping at this place, however, the location I go to, off of Kietzke lane in Reno Nevada, they have one older female employee that was running the register yesterday along with another cashier. This female cahier is VERY slow. For every 5 customers the other cashier would take care of, she MIGHT get one taken care of. Now Ive seen this happen several times and its not good for customer service. If this lady is an employee, I know she knows her job and about tools ect, maybe find a different job for her besides the register. Im sure Im not the only customer who feels this way as I know 2 other customers who were there at the same time were not happy with her at the register not being efficient, especially during the Christmas season.

Returned my unused nail gun and boxes of nails today with no issues. Decided to go with deck screws instead for my project. The nail gun would have been more fun and it was on sale. Ill have to think of another project to use one on in the future. LOL.

This one always seems to have only one cash register open and finding someone to help while shopping is almost impossible.

Went to Harbor Freght get a small bench top drill press which they had in stock. Also discovered they had the cordless driver I was looking for as well as a driver bit set and drill bits. Prices were great and I saved almost half of what I would have paid at the other option. Huge open parking lot with plenty of handicap spaces in front. Courteous and knowledgeable staff willing to help no matter the question. I will definitely be back.

Definitely the cheapest place to buy tools. But thats the only pro...Okay so to start, the staff need to learn how to be polite to their customers. Theres this one older lady who runs the cashier and she has probably one of the worst attitudes Ive ever encountered. I almost reported her but then thought maybe she was having a bad day. But after I thought about it I figured to heck with it. I had to report her surly attitude to the management. Well obviously they didnt do anything cause on a second round I came back she was even worse than last time. But then I figured something out. She was really nice to anyone who wasnt Asian. Im sorry but I absolutely felt like she profiled me for whatever reason. I dont remember her name but I can tell you shes old, short, wears glasses, never moves from the register and is very bossy to her co-workers. Because of her I am forced to continue my shopping on Amazon and Home Depot.

If you want a great deal on tools you can surely find them here. The staff is friendly and willing to answer all my questions on sale items. I am amazed with some of their deals on selective tools and the level they actually perform at. I mean you really cannot go wrong on some of their grinders and multi-tools. The deals are basically endless and even if they dont last forever they will get the job done at a reasonable cost!

When I ask somebody for tools and they says they did not have them, and the result is I end up finding them. This is poor salesmanship from some of the workers there. I find it wouldve been very acceptable to ask there coworkers.

Quality of tools seems to have improved considerably. New premium brands seem very well built. The number of coupons and specials make getting the lowest price a bit tricky. Service at the Reno store is good, ut it is sometimes difficult to find someone to help locate things.

The saw I wanted wasnt available, I was told I could go to Sparks cuz they had 14 of them.So they are a star down.

They had everything I was looking for. Though some of their things are not too quality, those things are cheap enough to buy 2 or 3 of and just throw the broken one away.

They have no idea what they have in their store. There are always lines. But their people are friendly and darn their stuff is inexpensive (and in most cases cheap). But it gets the job done. If you need tools to get something done and your not going to use them in a professional or semi-pro capacity, buy your tools there... Youll save money.

Well its harbor freight. Not long on atmosphere. Good place to get a decent tool that will last for a while at a good price.

This is always fun and I almost always find what I want and of course some things I didnt even know I needed at a great price.

Prices are very good-this is NOT Snap On Tools so dont expect that level of product.For most needs and applications of the average persons garage needs these tools are better than most.I broke my 1/2 drive breaker bar and they replaced it with no greif involved. What more can you expect from a tool store !Solid company in my humble opinion. 😎

There is a reason its 500% lower price than snap-on, your not paying for some commercialized name. Most tools are just as tough and most just as pretty chrome, believe me it does not make it cheaper made.... quality stuff quality tools.

Dont try to return anything bought more than 90 days prior. I returned a trailer towing light assembly that had been used once to move a jeep to reno. I tried to use it today and it only flashes on 1 side now so its worthless. The manager informed me that they no longer carried that product and that there was no warranty on the product. It still looks new and was returned in the original package with all of its paperwork. The bulbs are both in good working order.
