So far Im very very happy with the service and parts desk the staff included a very new guy that was nervous...I was to ...but the veteran grey beards were patient and knowledgeable and assured me that I would receive the right stuff ....and I did.....I Browsed the isles and let me say this.....stop by even if you dont ride they have some very cool and affordable items....I may be going to talk to the salesman next but must see that Im financially able .... fingers crossed for a big review

Gave them a Yamaha carb to rebuild. Didn’t rebuild anything… might have changed main gaskets. Probably just a miscommunication on what a full rebuild is… Costs $300 and a month of riding. To get a couple gaskets changed you can easily do this yourself for 40$ in parts. Got my carb back still leaking fuel out of the bottom. And the top..

Went in to drop off a tire to change out and not only did they have a good selection of tires available, the prices were great and they changed it while I waited. They are the first place we usually stop when we need riding gear or maint. supplies.

Called to see if they could help with sourcing some shocks for a 250 rebel. They were helpful and all, except that they ordered me the completely wrong shocks...Made it clear to them that I didn’t know what size or kind of shock I’d need since I wouldn’t be going manufacturer route ($650 for a pair from Honda).Really bummed out, figured they would know since they order parts for others as well. So now I’m just wishing I could ride my bike but someone didn’t think to double check.

I needed tires changed on a R1250GSA. I would have waited overnight at every other place I checked with. Reno Motorsports had them changed within about an hour, which was the time they quoted. The charge for changing both (wheels were off the bike, and I had tires purchased from another distributor) was $70, which is about $30 cheaper than anywhere else.I will definitely return next time I need a swap.

Look, I am not one to usually complain, and I will put up with quite a bit when it comes to poor customer service. Especially lately with everything going on in the world, I try to have a little extra patience and grace with people. But this.... this I just can’t tolerate. So I’m blasting social media about the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced.My experience involved Mike and Terry, who are bottom of the barrel dirtbags - so if that’s not your flavor of customer service, avoid them and this shop entirely. We walked in, stood in line, and waited our turn. Apparently, if you are a guy, you get helped first, regardless of the line of people waiting. 2 guys that walked in AFTER me were called to the counter and helped first, while we continued to wait.Then, they misplaced the tire they were repairing for us. They couldn’t find it, and were frustrated with me saying it must be under a different name. How are you going to act like I am doing wrong when you can’t find the tire that was just dropped off today and you called and said it was done?Sabrina also wanted to look at helmets, but of course, they told her they were too busy to help her right now....On top of that, they thought it was appropriate to make rude comments to me as I am paying! “Well don’t you look happy to be at the dirt bike shop today”. Nope. Definitely not happy when I have been treated like garbage in your shop for the last 10 minutes.They then called me and MY CHILD names on our way out, “look at this bitch” and “what a pussy” to be exact.I will NEVER step foot in this store again. As a man, that is the example you are showing my children? As a man, that is how you are treating a woman? As a business, this is how you choose to do business? No thanks, HARD PASS. I’m all for supporting local, and will gladly pay more for local businesses with great service. But this? You just lost all of our future business.

Great place. Went in to get a new frt tire for my bike. Good price, excellent service. In and out with the new tire, mounted, balance and ready to you go. Less than 30 minutes.

Great place to get tires mounted. One hour to get a new rear tire mounted on my Victory Cross Country while on a road trip. Very reasonable prices and rates, too.

This place will fix your bike!!!Just perchesed a used scooter that needed tire repair.After visiting 3 other known motor shops in Reno. This place was the only one who were able to fix my tire.The people here know how to fix bike and will definitely see me again.

This is the BEST shop in town. They go out of their way to make it happen. Huge tire selection!

I bought a pair of tires today with them and they charged me by the hour to put the tires, on the phone they had told me that the installation of tires cost $ 25 if I bought them in their store and if I had my tires the cost was $ 50 for each tire, but they charged by the hour, $ 120 per hour, I think it will be the last time I visit them and I definitely cannot recommend them, I went with them because a colleague told me that they had good prices, the truth is, it feels bad that they lie to you and that the service is not honest.

Took my 06 ZX6R in for a valve adjustment, it took them 7 weeks to have it finished. On top of that I just realized they broke a piece of my fairing and didnt even say anything about it. To me thats a shady shop and will not do business with them again

This is THE BEST bike shop. Cant reccomend highly enough. The mechanic really helped me out with a tough old bike; Im really looking forward to riding the piss out of it. The counter guys are also knowledgeable and friendly, always helped me out and kept me in the loop.

These guys are great--I needed new tires on a week-long tour and was coming through Reno. I called other places first, and one of their competitors had the tire I needed, but wouldnt let me make an appointment to mount them 3 days ahead of time.Then I called RMS. They had the tires, the prices were good, they confirmed an appointment time (important to me as I was coming into Reno that afternoon, and leaving early the next morning), they were ready when I got there, and had the tires mounted in even less time than theyd promised. And were super nice and careful with my bike too.

Ive tried continually to give this shop a chance I really want a reason to spend money at a small local business and every time I am disappointed I step foot in the store the employees lack any kind of communication skills it requires to sell retail or work with the public so if youre looking for a shop to take your stuff or just looking to buy some gear or parts Id recommend not wasting gas time or breath

Rode my bike down to get a new set of k60s for my klr. I called ahead to make sure they had time. I was in and out in less than an hour. Everyone there was highly professional and courteous. I recommend going here for all bike repairs, tires and gear. They also carry KLIM riding gear aka the best! Thanks again guys!

This shop is great. To the last two reviews that bashed RMS. Both wanted FREE service. When a mechanic test your electrical stuff, he does not do it for free. When a mechanic gives you a price to put your plastic back on... Its not for FREE. I always take my bike here to get worked on. Fair prices and good results. I dont ever expect it done for free.

I have been coming to this shop for over 12 years and Im finally over there customer service. After spending thousands of dollars or various motorcycle parts, Im not coming back. There service has just gone down hill. They were short with me, and acted like they didnt want to deal with me. Never again will I come back.

After bringing my bike back because the initial work was sub-par (and after my initial poor review on google), RMS was a little displeased with me, but they at least stepped up and serviced my bike quickly and hopefully corrected the problem that was previously overlooked (I will see the results later). I am updating my previous rating of 2 stars to 4 stars as a token of good will, as I believe in second chances and perhaps they will focus on giving the type of service the second go around with me on the first go around with their other customers.Initial service that was performed was very sub-par and not to the reaffirmed expectation that I had received from the staff when I dropped off my bike. Regardless of what another bias post may say, I dont ask, nor expect anything for free and am more than happy to pay for good service and results.

Rip off!!! I am so pissed, i had them test my ignition coil and nuetral switch and first they said we will test it tomorrow and i pick it up the next day. They charged me 20 bucks just to tell me that they were still good!!! They are rip offs, 20 bucks for doing a test that takes 5 mins maybe!!! Never going here again!!!
