Was trying to locate the newer resin molds for Halloween and they had them! Small store but welcoming staff! Clean and for some that said the shelves were not organized, I don’t know what those reviewers saw because nothing seemed out of place.Our cashier was super awesome and sweet! Wish we knew about this location before we were leaving to our new state.

Do not usually have much luck here. Staff are more friendly since my first visit here many years ago. Not very much variety, shelves disorganized, many empty white shelves in the middle of the store. Flooring in poor shape in spots likely due to old physical plant. Looks old on the outside too. Ok if you are looking for the most basic items like thread, white/black buttons or decorative ribbons.

Needed plastic vases with stakes for Memorial Day flowers and they what i needed. Greeted as I came in and given directions as to where they were located. In and out in less than 5 minutes.

There is nothing like being able to hold fabric in order to know whether you need it, this is a good store for that. As far as scissors and other accessories, I have found better prices on Amazon.

This place is always clean, well organized and shelves are stocked. This year I was a little disappointed in the amount and assortment of Christmas decorations, but I also understand stock is hard to predict for the fabulous 2020.

I needed to get a small sewing kit (needle, thread, etc). A cheaper one just to fix a few buttons that came off of some clothes I have.When I asked an employee, she stopped what she was doing, and walked me over to what was available.Later, she again (on different area), helped me again with a different item I was seeking.Staff are friendly and seem to know where things are.Theyll even check if an item youre looking at is on sale (or has coupons).

Traditionally Joann Fabrics and Crafts has been the best store you can go to for Sewing supplies, and Machines. At least that is where my mom used to go, which of course meant I went along, and was really bored as a kid.I do know how to sew with a machine, but I am not somone who sews much, nothing at all since about 1984 or 85.I went to this store recentl to buy a sewing machine for a family member, and they did not do any favores for the JoAnn brand name.The problem I have with this store is that they do not have any machines out to look at. They people in the store didnt k ow much about a lot of what they had for sale, and wanted to push the thi gs they were familiar with, or higher dollar Machines, vice the value machines. I was looking for a best bang for the buck kind of machine, which wasnt going to be used very often.They have tags for machines, but do not have all of the machines they have tags for, and no prices listed except for the machines which are on sale. But, they may or may not have those machines in stock.This is all very irritating. Had I known all of this before hand I would not have gone in the store to shop, but instead would have just gone online to purchase the sewing machine from Jo Ann. Well, I would have started with JoAnn, buy may have found a bteer deal elsewhere.I dont know what is keeping this store in business, but they way they operate isnt conducive to making sales of large ticket items. And, I will repeat that they did not hi G to help the JoAnn Franchise name. I was very disappointed. I now have the idea that all JoAnn stores will be the same. Very sad to see this once great part of Americana circling the drain.

The white woman with glasses charged me and when she gave me my ticket she took the 50% coupon for her. she took the cupon and only gave me the 20% coupon, I couldnt believe it, I was shocked. this happened today at approximately 4pm

*RENTON HIGHLANDS LOCATION* worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. SARA, who apparently tells people she’s the manager, needs to be fired. Left a detailed review on Yelp and many people have posted since with the same experience. All bad reviews are about the same person. Don’t know how she isn’t fired yet. She is very unhelpful, rude, and clearly just a miserable person. Will not take online returns in store even though the JoAnn website clearly says that you can return in store. Will talk about you to other coworkers (instead of helping customers) because you don’t want to take your return to FedEx. Will only return to return more online orders.

Everyone is always extremely friendly and knowledgeable, plus the store in organized and clean. This is our favorite craft store in renton.

First time at this location. Found great set of ergonomic crochet hooks. Price was good plus I had a 30% off coupon. Lay out a bit different than my usual store but they had some different items. Nice and clean. Staff helpful and cheerful.

Was on the phone for ten minutes waiting for a pick up. He finally found it and came out to explain it was under a different name. I indicated I entered a different name for pick up and he snidely responded that it was not and shut the door in my face.

There was a good selection of scrapbooking supplies, cricut materials, and fabric, but the paint and canvas choices were lacking. This is one of the smallest JoAnn stores Ive shopped, and it may also be one of the oldest, but it was very clean, and the staff was friendly.

Nice store but if you arent actually there for fabric the pickings are fairly slim. The wooden craft area is always out of stock and the yarn selection is kind of meager. Thats a shame, because this place is much closer to my home than anywhere else, and the prices are pretty good.Also, and this is more a reflection of the customers than the staff of the store: it always looks like a bomb went off in the yarn aisle. Why does yarn turn people into animals who just rip packages open and toss the ball back on the rack? You dont have to open the whole thing to feel how soft it is, Martha, chill out.Great fabric selection, lots of fun prints, a big selection of patterns.

Not only fabrics, they also have a selection of electronics such as portable chargers, cables and the like for a decent price. Also a decent return policy if anything is defictive... no hassle.

Great sales & coupons on seasonal decorations & crafts & sewing & baking; and all around craft, sewing & baking supplies. Like a neighborhood Michaels, only smaller, they carry picture frames, storage baskets, boxes, & plastic containers, craft kits for kids, fabric or plastic floral stems, wreaths, garlands & floral arranging supplies & painting supplies. Its pure heaven to shop or browse & get those creative juices flowing! They also offer sewing classes, quilting classes, & classes for youngsters to get started with crafts!

Very small version of Joanns. Not a lot of selection for yarn since it is such a small store. But friendly service & it was clean.

Big fabric selection, ample stock of notions, all employees were friendly and helpful. A bit farther to travel to, but easy to find. I will go there again. Thank you Amber for all the help finding what I needed!

This store is always clean and in order. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are fair and the wide variety of products and fabrics make this my go to craft store.

The staff were very helpful despite the volume of customers and were amiable and attentive throughout my shopping experience. Also had great deals and sales throughout the store so I was able to indulge while staying within my budget. This was my first visit and I highly recommend this location. Tge store is very clean and arranged in a way to easily locate items without having to spend a lot of time prowling the aisles. Thanks again for the experience it was tgr highlight of my day.

I have never in my life seen a Joann’s look like this...boxes and piled up supplies in carts all over the store, I had a hard time getting to what I needed. I have been to quite a few craft stores and this was an extreme disappointment. I’m new to the area and was excited to know a Joann’s was so close to where I live. Only to go in and find it in a desperate need of organization and cleaning. The lady who rang up my purchase was very nice and helpful but I am so surprised at the state of the store. I couldn’t get out of there quick enough.

Amber, Cara and the rest of their team are simply amazing! In the process of starting my own business they have all been very helpful and friendly. Ive tried other Joann Fabrics and have fairly bad service but every time I come here its fantastic! They all deserve a bonus for their fantastic customer service!

Was looking for greenery and was disappointed with the selection.

Smaller Joanns, better selection than expected, great if there isnt a bigger one closer to you. Bathroom has locks, which sucks. Line usually takes a while and there are often boxes blocking a few eisles.

The employees were friendly and helpful. They greeted me at the door and helped me find what I was looking for.

Excellent choices ... its great if your doing projects are just need materials that are not sold in stores normally such as ribbon ..buttons ...place is very full and its kinda a free for all ....but its still fun

This is a good smaller Joann location. All the people who work here are sweet and aeem to lean into the slightly punk Maker aesthetic. The stores inventory is more limited, but the biggest gaps at this store is that the fine art supply section is particularly small, and the plastic xontainer section is especially small. Also, the faux floral selection is very small. For its size, the notions, batting, yarn, and fabrics sections are surprisingly good.

Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of fabric selection and a good deal of craft supplies considering the size.

Love the staff. They are caring and helpful, but the store always seems messy. I also think some nice background music would help add to the mood and experience.

Very disappointed with service received on 03/20/20 first by a lady called Cara ... arrogant attitude, not only her!also made me bullying the teller named Austin, he with mocking laughter began to mock because I was using a facemask, he stared To cough loudly and laugh at me !very rud service I hope the company if interested in how its employees treat their customers. They should do something about it soon!

They had what I needed and even though they were incredibly busy, they still took the time to be cheerful while being efficient.

I always seem to find what Im looking for and then some. I get coupons thru email and they are so helpful. With the savings I can buy more items. Love it.

The lines at checkout where long today maybe more than 2 cashiers were needed

This was my first time to this Renton Jo-Ann fabrics, and I found it to be large and fairly well stocked. I was looking for a particular size and type of ribbon in 8 different colors, and was able to find all of them. There are a lot of craft supplies as well as fabrics, of course. While the staff I encountered were each friendly and helpful, I took a star off for only one staff person at the checkout and only one at the cutting station. Both places had quite a line of customers either waiting to have their fabric cut or to check out.

I like coming here because the employees are friendly. But I always have to wait such a long time to get my fabric cut. I wish they would hire more employees so you didnt have to wait so long to get your fabric cut. Besides that, its a nice place to go to get some fabric.

Usually a very busy place, very empty early on Christmas eve. A small JOANN but still have a great selection of products. Staff has been helpful and friendly anytime I have been there.

I loved it here. Worked here for a while. And i had the best days. The customers were so nice. And me the typical young person that i am, having tattoos and gagues, was treated like a normal person. I was glad to work here and help customers. I did connect with many great people here that were so just so great!

Good quick stop to find what you need. If you have a more elaborate project, this isnt the place for variety. But for the basic supplies, this is perfect.

The sale signs are very misleading. Pay attention or you may be surprised at the cashier. Staff explained its a common problem that corporate isnt interested in fixing. The customer service at this location was good.

It is literally the only craft store that is convenient to my house, but their selection is very limited and the staff is not always very helpful. I usually have to track someone down to help find what Im looking for and they arent always enthusiastic about helping find it. Today, I waited more than 10 minutes in line while the only cashier encouraged the 1 person in front of me to find more coupons for a $10 purchase. I ended up walking out without my items because it took so long.

They didnt have a large selection of letters. Friendly and helpful staff. Duct tape selection was slim. More options would be nice throughout the store.

Wow. SUPER RUDE. Ordered online. Traveled to show up & state - oh we packed it up already (not for me) so yeah, we will just refund you. The store was A HUGE MESS, isles closed & literally they didn’t even update their inventory. Learned my lesson. Joannes Renton truly has horrible mgmt & never to shop at this location.

A great place to find craft and fabric supplies.

The staff is friendly but for a craft supply store they sure dont stock many art supplies. No stencils, limited paints and brushes, no canvas board, no paint pens. I had to drive to another store for items I thought almost any art store would carry. They have aisles full of non craft stuff so its not like they didnt have the space. The store is quite clean and the staff is very helpful though!

Atrocious selection. I need simple international ink cartridges? Nope. Heavy duty thread for stitching? Nope. Do the staff know ANYTHING? nope. I ask a woman in the sewing department for her heaviest thread because Im stitching a steering wheel up and she looks at me like Im some kind of alien. She had no idea what her strongest type of thread was. The store is laid out for quilting and glue. Their selection is atrocious and everyone is immensely unhelpful.

The staff is always so incredibly helpful and today I didnt have any coupons or purchase on sale items but was encouraged by Bobbi to look up Joanns coupons online to save money. So I did, I found a 40 percent off coupon and was quite happy went to the check out and was given another 60 percent off up there love these ladies!

So everyones given pretty crappy reviews of this store so far, which made me a bit hesitant to go there. I needed a pretty random item and wasnt sure if theyd have it (adhesive clear plastic to cover a 20 x 30 surface that could be written on with a dry erase marker). They didnt have it, but the lady that helped me had a suggestion I might try. Anyhow, staff was friendly and the store was organized and clean. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because they didnt have what I was looking for.

Iblobe the Renton Joanna. They always have a friendly smile and a greeting when you come in. There is always someone at the cutting counter and very often more than one checker. Other Joanna I have been too are not as well staffed or friendly or helpful. Love this store!

Your average Joann store, selection was maybe a bit smaller than most. One star off for rude staff. The staff at the register at the time of my checkout were pretty rude when we asked to use their competitors coupon and would not let us stack coupons afterwards even though other stores in the chain will let you do it per company policy.

The one at South Center is much better. Though the fabric cutting line is usually quicker here.

This store is much cleaner and organized than Bellevue. Young man cashier very nice but the gal hoovering over him to make sure he blacks out a coupon was a bit rude in my opinion but he just kept smiling and was very pleasant. Same gal worker was in the checkout line fussing with stuff with no regard we were trying to get by. Lady cutting fabric seemed unhappy as well.
