Sean came out for 2 units at my house, one of which a brand new heat pump system. He was able to quickly identify couple issues with the new unit and fixed them. The regular spring/fall inspection and maintenance has a lot of items and he was able to go through the list making sure every one of them is functioning properly. Professional service and great customer manner. Definitely will have them back, and recommend AAA HVAC to anyone.

The AC stopped working in my rental property. It was a holiday weekend, and I called a dozen different companies. AAA was the only company to call me back. They came out the next day and diagnosed the problem. They were able to get the part and install it 2 days later. They communicated very well and offered 2 different options. This is a fantastic company!!! Great value, responsive, and professional. I was in need of replacement (due to age) of my 2 existing HVAC systems and water heater at my house. I spoke with several companies and got a range of quotes and suggestions based on what brands I should install. Given my previous experience, I wanted to replace my HVAC/water heaters with the same brands. Alex was the only person who listened to my request to stay with the same brands. He provided detailed recommendations (no pressure) for these brands in his quote and didnt try and convince me to go with a certain brand. Not only did I get a quote for the actual replacement equipment brands I wanted, the pricing was above and beyond better than any other company I spoke with. This was my second time having AAA do work at my home. first they were brought on by my HOA so they can fix the main condensate line that multiple units share. That went very well and the a/c ran like new right after that. then about a week later, i noticed another leak and moisture in my walls. Sean and Alex came by again a second time to take a look. They were able to figure out the cause of the leak, and they flushed the condensate line again to make sure there were no residual clogs from prior leaks. Sean did a great job explaining where the leak may have come from and other components that may have caused it. Hoping this holds up for the hot summer months. I was happy with the service I received, once I finally received it, but the technician arrived FIVE hours later than the end of the time window for which I’d been scheduled. (Arrival window was between 9am and 11am. He arrived just after 4pm, with poor communication about the delay.) This meant canceling my afternoon work meetings at the last second so I could stay home and wait, which was a huge inconvenience. Ultimately they helped me resolve my AC issue, but at a big cost to me in terms of time and stress. Not sure if I’ll use this company the next time I have an HVAC problem, but if I do I’ll be sure to take an entire vacation day off for it regardless of when they claim they’ll arrive. (And that’s not my preferred way to use my vacation hours.)

This company has been servicing my HVAC unit over the past 2 years. Every time I call I get great customer service from Jessica. Typically, Alex and Shawn will come out and both are knowledgeable technicians. During their last visit my HVAC unit was 20+ years old so we decided to replace it and I couldnt be more satisfied with the experience. They were able to get us on the schedule before the snow storm and as always their pricing is fair.

I reached out for a quote of repairing the water heater. Jessica, the coordinator, asked in advance the water heaters model and serial number to check if parts/labor are in warranty. When she got back to me, she has all the information ready - whether there are replacement parts in stock, and how much I should be expected to pay. AAA HVAC was super responsive as soon as I gave them a call and seemed really interested in helping me out with a replacement Carrier unit. I had Costco (F.H. Furr) bid my townhouse for about 3-5k more than AAA (Costco has some rebates, promotions etc that got them within $1500) for a Lennox unit that I think is inferior.Sean and Alex stopped by personally to measure my heat pump and air handler and walk me through some options and didnt try to up-sell me on humidifiers or a system bigger than I needed. Both guys seemed knowledgeable and professional (Especially Alex) in terms of their installation/products.I ended up selecting a 2.5 ton 16 SEER Carrier unit that was installed about three days after the initial consultation. The crew arrived around 9:30 am and was totally done by 2:30. The heat blows hot and the cooling has yet to be tested since its been an arctic winter in VA.I deducted a star because the crew left me a reusable filter that didnt fit, and because they left some debris in the yard and family room after the install. Certainly not a dealbreaker because I suspect those guys were pretty busy and couldnt hang around for a site clean-up.They also installed my 2nd Gen. Nest Thermostat at no cost, really. Alex and Sean even stopped by to make sure it was programmed correctly after the job was done. Im recommending them to other people and will be using them in the future for maintenance etc.Heck, they may even be my new plumbers.

AAA just came by for a diagnostic check on my outdoor condenser unit wasnt working. They did all their checks, told me the capacitor looked fine (which is what I thought the issue was initially), but had me had me go check the breaker again. I had reset the master breaker before I asked them to come, but it seemed the AC specific breaker was tripped. Reset it and it was working fine. They checked the air quality and the cooling quality, and said everything looks fine. When I was going to pay them the $90 diagnostic fee, they said dont worry about it, its on us! They will definitely be my first and only call for all my HVAC needs due to their work ethic, honest, and technical knowledge!

I found AAA HVAC through the good Yelp reviews. My air conditioner stopped working on a very hot day. I emailed through Yelp and got a response within a few minutes. Alex and Sean came the next day, were very pleasant and quickly analyzed and fixed the problem. Would definitely recommend and use again!

DO NOT USE THEM!!&TLDR: They tried to get me to buy a whole new unit and it wasnt needed.Review:First you are asked to schedule an appointment online so I did. I understand it was on a holiday weekend, but they had openings online so I booked. They waited until my 2-hour window was up to call and say it was a holiday and rescheduled for the next morning. The next morning I waited for my 2-hour window again and again they called at the end and said they would push it another few hours from then. Ive already waited the whole morning. Wasnt happy about that but I get it.2 technicians finally arrived. They checked the unit in the apartment then went to the roof. After a quite a long time, they came back down and said the whole unit needs to be replaced because it wasnt fixable. It is an old unit (2003) and they said it just died. They provided an estimate for $7,000 and suggested I call right away and they could do it this week. My landlord called a different HVAC person they have used in the past for a 2nd opinion. RESULT: A WIRE. A WIRE WAS MISSING. He walked up, noticed that somehow, someone had stolen a wire from the unit so it no longer worked. He replaced the wire and turned on the unit. Works great. Saved $7000. I do not know if AAA HVAC technicians stole the wire or not, but if they didnt, they should have seen it wasnt there. Either way AAA HVAC was a major disappointment, either incompetent, or dishonest.

I called AAA HVAC to do a Diagnostic on my AC and furnace because I had a warning light on. The company had a super fast response and were able to fit me in that same day. They discovered that my issue was due to improper wiring of the humidifier, work that the previous owner had done and also that my system was losing approximately 15% of its output due to the lack of sealing tape. They gave me an amazing quote on the repair and sealed the system up free of charge. I also got recommendations on items that could prolong the life of my Unit and some were seriously needed, small mold spores were building up on the humidifier because of its prior improper installation but thanks to AAA HVAC were all addressed before it or other issues could harm my family!!!I have and would certainly recommend there outstanding service!!!!

Ive had a few times where Ive had an emergency and my AC stopped working on some of the hottest days of the summer. Rather than wait for my landlord, I called AAA and Alex came out that night both times to check my system and diagnosed and fix it. He also showed me how to keep my external unit clean and free of debris, and also explained why I was having issues with my unit leaking. I would definitely call them again if I had any issues. During this heat wave, we have had a hellish experience with our unit. The level of communication before, during, and after the install was exceptional. The leadership and techs were very knowledgeable, came to visit prior to install to go over the plan, and followed up once completed. The team was very friendly and cleaned up well once the job was complete. I appreciated that they asked my opinion on certain install options before moving forward. Alex is the man! Heres the deal, you can buy a new water heater from homedepot. What is the extra value you get from hiring HVAC/plumber guys? This is the question I tried to answer when I called up 3 contractors with great reviews on Google.It was pretty clear the other contractors were willing to say just about anything to win my business. What I like about AAA is their straight forwardness. I asked every contractor whats the difference between the $600 water heater I can buy from home depot vs the $2k they are charging me for their water heater. All I get is its commercial grade, what does that even mean? Tell me the so what? I can google this stuff and find out on the internet, but the reason Im talking to you is because you are the subject expert. Your value add is telling me something I dont already know.Alex from AAA did that. He was straight forward and didnt play any games. I asked him what are the differences, he shared a comparison chart which explained the differences. At no point did I feel like I was being deceived or lied to just to win business. Come installation day, he came over installed my new water heater as planned. Great service, great communication, hes earned my trust and my future HVAC businesses.

We were completely impressed from the initial consultation all the way through installation of our new Trane A/C Unit. We had one other company come in a little lower on their quote but their response time and lack of professionalism did not make us comfortable to move forward with them. Furthermore, we were informed at consultation of black mold that was on our a/c return and our current company that we had a service contract for years had never mentioned anything of the sort. Sure enough when they pulled the unit out it was covered in black mold and the coils completely rusted out. I will never trust another company and AAA HVAC will be our go to company from here on out! Dealing with outside heat pump compressor unite issue for 4/5 days i called my warranty. They send technician and he told me that my compressor is short to ground i need to replace whole unit . He told me that it will cost me more than $2500.00 . He also suggested me to replace whole out side and inside heating and cooling unit. Moreover, he said that he will give a good deal. I called my warranty and they said that it is a preexisting condition and they will not cover my compressor replacement charge. I was so upset. I wanted to take second opinion from different technician. I searched on internet and found AAA HVAC service and took appointment for this afternoon. Sean and Alex showed up on time. when they came and checked my outside unit they immediately figure out that there was a simple wiring problem. They fixed it. They only replace filter of the unit. The overall cost for me to fix the problem is so resealable . I found SEAN and ALEX so professional, understands costumers feeling and trust worthy. Im very pleased with their service and recommend them to anyone who needs work on their HVAC system.

Had an issue with the thermostat which was sometimes showing an error. It would also shut down on occasion. I called on Friday and Alex stopped over that very afternoon. He wasn’t able to fix the thermostat and promised a new one. He said he would return on Monday AM.As he promised, Alex was here a little past 9:00AM. He replaced the old thermostat with an updated one. He also made sure that it was updated on my cell phone so I could control it from the phone. I glad to report that the new thermostat works well. Alex and his team installed for us a new HVAC system. Alex was very good about answering our questions. His team worked in a timely manner and cleaned after themselves. We were very happy with their service.We had an issue with the thermostat about a year after the installation of new system. Alex and Sean came and fixed the problem. It took some time until they were able to identify the problem. I was very impressed with their costumer service. Really great guys! They didnt charge us for the repair, saying it was still under warranty. They really stand by the job they do and products they install.

A week of fighting with a home warranty company and dealing with the awful heat inside a home with asthmatic kids came to an end when I called AAA HVAC. They were out the SAME DAY I called! AMAZING!!! A gentleman came out and correctly diagnosed the problem. He went an extra step just to make sure we didnt have to replace our entire system. Unfortunately we did, but AAA HVAC made the entire process efficient, seamless, and they did it expeditiously. They were out the very next day installing our new system. I would recommend them a hundred times over - their customer service and their work - absolutely superior and I couldnt be more grateful for them! Thank you all at AAA HVAC for your help! You guys are awesome!!

Alex and Ahsan worked with me to give me the best deal possible, fully explaining all of the options. The install took a little longer than expected because I had a leak in one of my lines. I appreciate that they took the extra time to get locate the leak and get the job done correctly. Would definitely recommend.

Alex and Sean installed my water heater in a timely manner. They are both knowledgable and they finished replacing my water heater in less than an hour. Will definitely recommend these guys. Great service!

Our old system finally crapped out. A friend who works as a tech had told me this years ago and I knew sooner or later I would have no choice to replace the whole system as the newer systems now use a different coolant. yeah! said no one ever...Anyway we called several different contractors, got several different prices but settled on AAA because even though they werent bottom dollar ( get what you pay for there ) they were more than competitive and what I liked most was what they were offering as a unit was a more reliable system as the other guys in that price range. Now, I was even more impressed when I settled on them as my contractor on a Tuesday and they were out Wednesday. The crew was everything as a contractor myself I would hope did my job. Polite, clean and efficient. Overall my experience was worth the 5 stars. I do reward where deserved and when you know your spending a large amount of money you do your due diligence. I am happy we did ours. Thanks guy!
