Purchased three 48” x 7” Aksel shelves in maple and one 36” x 13” again in maple to house a CD and vinyl collection. I spread the purchase over a number of transactions and in each case found the interaction with the company, whether through their online web-based ordering system or by phone (the 13” shelf was a custom order) to be top notch and indeed in the latter case fun!They stayed in touch while the shelves were being fabricated—in one case sent me a photo of them in mid process—and again once they were shipped. Their packing is impressive. Finally the quality of the product is superb; the quality of the maple wood was beautiful. Installation is not difficult, most important is to position the unit so you catch as many studs as possible. Very happy with the whole process and would recommend this company wholeheartedly

I work at a custom cabinet company and I came across Shelfology a few years ago while looking for floating shelf brackets. We use there Drake floating counter top and Aksel and Yuri floating shelf hardware all the time. Every contractor we have recommended them to loves them. Strong, sturdy, and high quality dependable craftsmanship every time. I have had to speak to their sales team a few times and they are also great to work with.

Shelfologys bracket was perfect for my fireplace mantle install. I made a mantle from a tree from our back woods, which weighed at least 100lbs. Drilled the holes in the back of the mantle and screwed the bracket to the reinforced 2x4 wall surrounding our built in wood stove. Lastly, had stone installed on the wall around the mantle. Very sturdy and secure mount. Thanks Shelfology!

I purchased the Peggy Wall Hook and I love it. Looks great in my kitchen and I hang my dog’s leash on it. I want to get another one for my bedroom for my headphones. Customer service was great and so was shipping =))

I received 3 wood samples, which I requested. However, two of them were the same (which I did not request. I wanted 3 DIFFERENT samples to try to match my bedroom dresser). Even so, when I looked up the largish piece of lumber I needed, the price (especially the shipping costs) made it way out of my budget.

I have had an installation issue with my Aksel bracket and Samantha was able to troubleshoot my issue to try and determine if there is a sizing problem with what I chose for project. While this has been frustrating and isnt resolved yet, I appreciate the customer service and thoughtfulness! I am hoping I can finish this project and get to enjoying my mantel soon.
