Come here to play D&D which has its offers and opportunities.Good selection of table top miniatures and an open play space.Sunday afternoon is a quiet time which makes the experience all the better.Cant wait for more allowance of the shop offering drinks since not having a water is a bummer.

I recently found this store and really love it.Mark and the newer female employee have mostly been the ones helping me when I come in. They are always very helpful and the customer service for me has been key in me coming back.I already have two titles on my pull list and intend to add more.

With most shops removing the mask requirements youd think they would as well especially with people getitng vacancies with the overpriced models,cards,board games and just about everything else ill happily tell everyone i know to avoid this place when there are other places

Great atmosphere, employees, and patrons. Ideal place to play Friday Night Magic, Saturday Showdown, Magic re-release events, sealed, and draft. Even though I am strictly Magic Player, it also seems like a great scene for other card games such as Yugioh, they always have large turnouts. Also seems to be a great place to play D&D. Highly recommended

Not a great shop in my opinion but that is just mine. People seemed to be a bit tense. Maybe cause they do not know me. I am sure they have there regulars they know alot better. And i am ok with that. I do not think i will be going back. By choiceThey did nothing wrong.. Good location

Long standing employee attitude check. You know who it is if you been going to this store since zendikar at least. Sorry I didn’t know top loaders were sold out everywhere. Did I give you any attitude in that simple request? I’m over giving this store money esp since he gives off the same vibes naturally or through conversation for the past eight years at least. I don’t got time for that anymore; he seems like he doesn’t either.

One of the most expensive shops Ive been to. They have all of their digimin tcg products listed for at least twice the retail value and have an obviously opened box of the prerelease that they have either sold the promo packs individually against Bandais rules or have pocketed them. The last place I would recommend for anyone remotely interested in shopping for any tcg.

Nice service, super friendly, easy going. Nice selection of new comics. Not a whole lot of back key issues(but still a nice selection), Enjoyed my visit. A cool place to look around. I like the fact we find something different in every comic shops, and thats always fun.

The guys working there are pretty cool and they really know their stuff, plus its the only place I could consistently find pokemon cards so thats a huge plus.

This store looks misleadingly small, but inside youll find a ton of stuff and a great area to play cards and board games! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and its a great place for comic afficienados or MTG players. Theres something for everyone nerdy, though - theres a DnD corner, for example, with all of your miniature-painting needs. The only downside is that theres no Wi-Fi. Hopefully thatll be addressed in the future. Ive attached pictures of the play areas - look at those MTG vehicles hanging from the ceiling and that Jace timer! So cool.

Small, but they still had some good stuff there. It was my 1st time and got some comics n books.

A comic shop should be aplace where they help you read comics! Came in with a graphic novel title and author, and the staff only gave attitude. First said theyd never heard of the book, when asked if they could look it up they said that without the publisher info they wouldnt look up the book. Never had an experience like this from other shops like Keiths or Zeus.

The atmosphere was a little odd since there was no music playing. It makes you feel like you have to be quiet the whole time. We were also never greeted the whole time we were at the shop. The last negative was difficulty in finding the prices on the comics.All that being said, they have excellent selections for all things nerdy. Great if youre in a pinch for D&D, board games, card games, or anything of that nature.

Love this place from the moment you walk up to the door to everything inside. Good staff, great selection including stuff i dont find elsewhere, and they have a ton of weekly events. Hands down a place i enjoy and look forward to going and playing at now that i live in the area

Nice place, staff was friendly. Was asked if I needed help. I didnt buy anything but, they thanked me for coming in. I stopped to check out the place while on a break from work. For not being a regular, i was treated like one.

I bought a Yu-Gi-Oh pack from this place and I believe the pack I purchased may have been resealed. I noticed glue residue on the ends of the pack and the booster box looked pretty beat up. I personally wouldnt go here again.

I happen to live above this store, so I love being able to just drop in and browse when boredom hits. Lots of back issues to further my collections, a great mix of old and new, and a healthy dose of merch. Its important to have a helpful and friendly staff that welcome you and theyre definitely that as well! Now I just have to learn a game so I can join in on some of their game nights. :) Thank you for being such a awesome contribution to the neighborhood!

Its a good comic store with helpful staff. However, its selection of comics is not really all that big. This should be titled a Graphics Novel and Games store more than a comic shop. If you play Magic, then this is a must stop. Ive set up a standard pull-list, but they already shorted me on a few releases that Ive had to find elsewhere. I go here for supplementing, but do not rely on it as my primary shop.

My son who is 13 is just getting into Magic the Gathering. He knew the basic rules but had never played it with others at an event. We showed up last Saturday and the store was having a draft tournament. The employees in the store as well as those participating in the draft where incredibly helpful and welcoming. I have rarely walked into a business and had this level of an experience. My son participated in the draft and played the tournament with the help of many of the players. They even gave him some cards to start his collection. I rarely write reviews, however, I felt the need to write this one.

Great hobby store... From table top to comics...

I’ve been going to Asylum for years now. Even when I was a middle schooler just learning how to play at tournaments the staff and even customers were all so kind and understanding that it caught me completely off guard. I’ve met some of the most genuine people I’ve ever known here, and the guys behind the counter are no exception. I can’t recommend going here enough.

My new local comic store. Lots of room in the back for board gaming, magic and tabletop. Comics aplenty, good set of TPBs for the size of the store and great sales pretty much all the time.

This was a very fun place to go to. They had a very good selection of new and older graphic novels and they had a very good sale section. Some places have a tiny bit of everything for everyone but if you have a nerdy interest - chances are this place has more than a few things just for you.

Ive known the owner for decades, but got away from the hobby. Now my teen is interested in tabletop aming, and this a perfect place to do so.

LOVED this place. Doesnt look very big from the outside but its a different story once youre in. Its like walking through a closet door into an auditorium. Very spacious and an ÌNCREDIBLE selection of comics and games. I could have spent the entire DAY in there. Great prices, too, and very knowledgeable staff. Check these guys out.

I had a pleasant experience there when I last went to buy a board game. Although their selection of board games isnt vast, they were still very helpful when I asked for their personal opinion on which games they liked. Both the employees on staff were honest and informative in me forming my opinion on which game I bought, listening to what I had to say and helping me find the best fit for my needs.They are much more known for their foot in the Magic The Gathering world, and specialize in that field of games.I will definitely go back again.

Amazing local comic shop, the owner really cares about the store and his customers. They have been willing to find anything you are looking for, new or vintage runs of comics. Could not say enough good things about this shop.

I mainly frequent this shop for its generally astounding stock of Magic: The Gathering cards, they have proven to be one of the most reliable shops in the area, especially for modern. Their prices are very fair, Ive never been upset with the quality of a card Ive bought. With such a collection of modern cards, I would like to see more modern play though.

Way, way, way overpriced. I dont expect them to compete with Amazon but theres a limit. A players manual that was online for $28 was $60 here and they were very clear that they knew the difference and would make no adjustments. They have lots of stuff, but thats just too far off for me.

Love the place, the prices are fair and the employees are helpful and patient with you as you order a bunch of mtg singles; this is one of the few places that wont price gouge you and rape your wallet for singles. Plus, magic cup is right next door if you need a quick snack after a tournament. 10/5 if I could and I plan to keep my business here for the foreseeable future.

Its small but the large gaming rooms are great for pickup play.

Mark, the owner, is really nice and has run the shop for almost 20 years now. They sell comics, board games, card games, miniatures, and art work. They also run tournaments for a lot of the competitive games that they sell.

Unlike shops like Madness, they give you fair deals and treat you like more than a walking dollar sign.They actually considered all the cards I was selling instead of glancing and saying No thanks were not buying those right now right off the bat. Because of their good attitude towards buying my cards, I bought even more from them. Thats how the exchange SHOULD go.I also liked their professional attidute.

Ive been here last year, but at the the time I was not able to come here a whole lot. Now it has already been my third visit this year and I dont have any complaints so far. Not to say that Im expecting one. After deciding to get back into the Pokemon cards, I knew where to go for packs and booster packages. It was a lot better for me since It is a closer drive and the prices are pretty alright in my opinion. The staff was willing to help and you can tell that they would help if you just ask politely. I will be alright to let my brother shop here for decks and whatever he needs plus we have bought comics here in good conditions. Keep up the good work!

Great store to have local tournaments at for MtG. Some of their prices are a little high on collector cards and foils. But other than that its a great game store.

This place is really great. The staff is very knowledgable and they excell at making everyone feel welcome. In comparison to other game shops, this one has a much more laid back and friendly atmosphere, so this is the one that I come to especially for Magic: the Gathering events.

Walked in today for the 1st time in about 4yrs (work moved me away) and they remembered me by name. That was impressive! These guys are awesome & super helpful. Glad im back & wont be leaving again.

My first and last experience here was horrible. While we were at least greeted by the person who seemed to actually be in charge he was too busy talking to actually help us or move out of the way of the products we were trying desperately to look at. Then the neck beard that did offer to help us or tell us no as he literally put it acted like helping us was the hardest thing he had to do in his life. When one of us wanted to LOOK at a pre-event MTG box he told us No you cant look at it, which one do you want? as if we were going to steal everything he didnt own. I informed him that the other guy DIDNT want to look in the product just at the box. He still said no to which I said Fine then which colors do you have since we cant see that far and you have multiple products because the other guy was too busy conversing in front of the products. To which he dramatically gave us minimum details at what appeared to be great peril to his well-being. Other than the ridiculous service from a greasy little neck beard the selection of accessories was okay, but the actual product selection was unimpressive. We went ahead and bought some things, but only because we drove 90 MILES for one of the guys BIRTHDAY. Theres no shortage of good shops in business so unless you are a masochist and like to reward horrible customer service Id go elsewhere.

Ive been coming here for a little over 6 years for magic tournament on Friday nights, the store owner is a very personable nice gentleman and there, from magic cards, comic books, DND, or any other nerdy needs you might have.

Great place to shop for comics and other standard comic book store items. Also a great place to play magic! Their weekly draft nights on Tuesday, Standard on Wednesday, and FNM have a wide range of players and are a lot of fun.

Went here to shop for magic tcg, the staff working were uninterested in helping customers. Instead, they were deck building their own personal decks. Deferred questions about inventory to check our website. If you are shopping for singles, come in here with a list before coming in. Not a good shop for browsing

Comics, games and cards, what more do you need? Not a overly large place but is well stocked.

Havent been there in a few years but I had a lot of bad experiences there. The owner was into some kind of game with miniatures, and could hardly be bothered to leave the game to help customers. He had no social or customer service skills to speak of, and always treated me and the other magic players like punk kids, even though we were close to thirty at the time. His prices for singles were some times triple, or more, then what other stores were charging. And if you called him on it, he would just make some comment that, in so many words, said if you dont like it go somewhere else. His bad attitude was also reflected in many of his regulars, which made playing their a less than pleasant experience some times. All in all, Id rather go somewhere that the owner is treating it like a business instead of treating it like he is selling stuff out of his own garage.

I am one of their regulars and i have buy so many marvel select figures,tonight i went there even though i live like 30 mins away.I came all the way from allen to get some action figures i really liked the flash so i bought it and it cost me 30 bucks no big deal i went home and when i open it i realized it was used and it wasnt new plus, the leg was broken. I really liked this store but cant believe this happened to me.never coming back.

I am extremely upset with Comic Asylum now and they have lost me as a customer. I have spent more than a couple grand at comic asylum over the last decade, maybe not a lot of money, but something. I like supporting local comic book stores. But this visit and the last visit has been so disappointing. Last visit a few weeks ago i looked online for a few uncommon cards here they had it $0.50 a piece no big deal so dropped by on my way home from work to pick up a playset. They charged me $0.75 a piece. Price not a big deal but if i had seen that price on their website and got charged the same price in store i would have been perfectly happy. So that just left a sour taste. Today i came by for an oversized top loaded, they didnt have it in stock. I saw modern master packs for $12 a piece. I asked how much a box was so $280, so i said ok nm i will pick up 5 packs. He said $70 something bucks, i was like what he said price when up to $13. That was a load of $&@& it was priced at $12 and the same guy that last time raised the uncommon price. What the hell!!!
