Another Indian Grocery store. Plenty of items. Lots of items did not have a price label on them. When asked someone who worked there, she said I could go over there and check. Didnt know that meant. Although she did give me a approximate price range. It would have been have if she walked with me and help me find the exact cost of the item. While I waited outside, my dad was checking out and noticed the shopping cart contained just one can of Thumbs Up which I dropped in before stepping outside. Dad asked them to ring up 10 cans of Thumbs Up as he wanted more. He was told that he could only buy 25 of those! Once in the parking lot he shared what happened inside and I told him that I picked it up from the cold beverages section where we could buy as many we wanted. That is funny Indian store business!

I have never come across such rude and unprofessional cashiers in my life! All I had was cash on me and after getting all my items billed by the cashier she tells me we don’t accept cash. We had accidentally dropped a bottle of pickle which was already paid for and had no issues to buy another one but it was sad to see the kind of attitude we received from the cashier. And in spite of being so decent both of your employees kept murmuring rubbish in their own language and peeking into our wallet to see if we had a card. Sick! Disgusting! Never going to come back to this store again.

Everybody here has an attitude and doesn’t know how to do their job. the lady doing customer service ironically is the worst of them all. all she does is talk on the phone and talk back to customers. if you can go to another location youre better off.

I was looking for all necessary ingredients to have some Mediterranean style food and i had to walk around to look for someone so I can ask wheres the meats. ( she could of fooled me) her response was like no we dont eat meat so we dont sell it. But they have lots of things that come from India.

Its good Indian grocery store in Richardson area. Selling fruits,vegitables,spices,snacks & everything you would expect to be in India grocery store..They have small cafe (Rajulas Kitchen) with dine-in for quick bites (Indian chat)

Veggies are never fresh! Wonder when they stock them? Any given day its bad.. Top of this, some snacks and food items imported are already expired and they change the date with current month or 1more month to expire. Pathetic!

DATE: 04/28/2021... THIS HAPPENED AROUND 12:30PM .....Very bad Customer service.. One Mexican lady who works there is very rude. I went in there to exchange the jaggery and I showed her how the jaggery has fungus in it. we had not used it we had only opened the jar and found the fungus so went to exchange it but she refused to exchange it and said it was my fault that the jaggery caught fungus in it... and she said I might have left it in the car so I told her its been 3 years I have been coming to same India bazaar to buy groceries and jaggery as well and its never been a problem. this is the first time and she was very rude and kept blaming me for the fungus. and asked her to call the manager she refused so told her to give me managers number and she refused again and she gave me the IB number and when I called there no one answered my calls. so I want to report this matter because if you are selling stuff to people and they havent used it and is damaged or spoiled before the expiry date its your responsibility to exchange it. we pay for the food not getting it for free. But over all the place is good and other employees are very friendly...

Don’t forget check the price by each items when the cashier ringing, and there is no similarity on prices coated on items and cashiers ringing. They never listen to customers. I’ve been to India Bazaar almost the whole time since I’m in Dallas. The rewards system they had was good and we could save our $20 from 500 points. Now they have completely changed their policy from being 500 to 1000 points. That was still acceptable but now when my dad went to India Bazaar the Richardson TX location the sales person told him that in order to get your $20 bonus you have to have 2000 points. This is such a nonsense policy and I’m very disappointed. I will never go to India Bazaar’s any location henceforth. They are cheating people with this reward system. If you don’t want to give the bonus offer to customers don’t give it but at-least stop increasing the rewards to such a high level. Disappointed and never going back there again.

There is a tasty bakery with many delicious Indian treats, and the store is lined with all kinds of deals on food. For Americans, this is a really cool place to buy authentic Indian ingredients. For Indians, this is a slice of home.

No good sanitizer

I shopped there today at around 4pm. The grounds outside India Bazaar especially where the shopping carts are is dirty with trash in front of the store. The business right next to it, Jimmy Johns, is clean and no trash anywhere in front of their store. I wonder what it takes for them to see that it’s an unpleasant sight for a grocery store.

Wonderful gem in Richardson! Wonderful customer service, everyone is so nice. I loved the abundance in variety, prices, selection, and quality. I love the variety in rice selection and the produce, seasonings, and snacks! This was my first time here but i already cant wait to go back.

I went in hoping to find some British chocolates. Not seeing anything on the aisle markers as to where candies were in the store, I was about to give up and leave. However, as I turned to head back toward the door, I saw a small rack of chocolates and some candies. I was disappointed that the selection is so small, but they do have some Dairy Milk varieties. What I was looking for were Jaffa Cakes, Curly Wurly, and Jammie Dodgers.

They always have what we want when we go there. And they are friendly

Store is dirty, often lacks fresh produce, and is terribly mismanaged. Shopping carts are rarely (if ever) wiped down by the staff, and they always seem to be “out” of cart wipes and hand sanitizer. Visit at your own risk.

So this message is directly for the manager on duty for yesterday in the evening. There were 2 ladies that exceeded my expectations with our non typical desi grocery store customer service. I had an issue with my lone star card (ebt). That I was issued during this whole pandemic. The cashier called over the downstairs manager and then went up the stairs to get another manager. I really thought that it was just a matter of putting some money back on my Store account that I had accumulated. (SHOP HERE AND YOU GET POINTS THAT WILL GET YOU CASH BACK TOWARDS YOUR NEXT PURCHASE) So I called my husband to come get the cart and start loading. When manager looked into it apparently the card or the cashier accidentally voided the transaction. Well she tried to do everything possible to resubmit the transaction but was unable. The only other option was to scan everything again. So I nervously went back to the car to get all my groceries. Brought them back inside. And the 2 ladies worked fast and efficiently scanning and baging. They were apologizing and probably saw my tears starting to form in my eyes. I had done about 3 months of shopping. So I had a lot. Since I havent been to the store. See I have a low immune system. So my husband did majority of shopping at American stores. This wasmy first time out. Yes I may have bought the whole store...but our family needs it. Oh my what does this have to do with anything...back to my review. Many other desi stores would probably not have cared so much and asked me to use some other form of payment. But these 2 ladies really showed how the new generation of shopping in a desi store will be. She saw the worry in my eyes and even was trying to help me take the groceries out to the car. I declined. And i never got to turn around and smile or even say thank you because I was trying to rush to my car. And I was wearing a mask so she wouldnt have been able to see my smile of thanks. It was late so we needed to get home. Everyone was required to wear a mask at this establishment. Great prices, and great fresh products. I wish I had their names. I hope they get some recognition on their customer service! Love seeing ladies taking charge in our desi community. Situation handled in professional manner.THANK YOU LADIES!

They are open to dialogue if theres a complaint. I walked in just as they were closing and the cashier who was cleaning surfaces and wiping down counters used those same gloves to touch my grocery and I didnt like that, but the manager who was kind enough to let me come in despite the fact that they were closing was very nice about using that as an opportunity to reassure me that she would do some education with the staff.

There are good choices of Indian groceries here. Vegetable are at affordable rates and fresh too. But the collection is mainly north Indian. It might be little better if more options from different parts of India is available. Overall good place for Indian grocery shopping. Make sure dont buy anything from the food place here. The prices are hike high and the food quality and taste is not appreciable.

Wide variety of nuts, beans, and grains! Theres not much produce. (Which is what I was looking for.) There is a small restaurant inside that is worth a try! I took a chance and was not disappointed. The flavors and prices are amazing!

Beware of quality management here. Some of the products I bought here were expired but the good thing is that the management refunded for those without any hassles. Today as I was opening almonds packaged by them, I realized that it had a bug inside. I will try to get a refund from them and see how they respond. Buying here might be cheaper but I guess we should prioritize our health. Sad thing is that it is the only Indian store nearby so I will continue shopping here. I hope the management sees the review and improve the quality management.Edit:I raised the rating from 1 to 3 as the staff is very helpful and nice.

Good place. HOWEVER I HAVE A MAJOR CONCERN ABOUT FROZEN FISHES IN PACKETS FROM INDIA. IT HAS BEEN TREATED WITH BAD CHEMICALS TO PRESERVE LIKE FORMALIN WHICH IS VERY BAD FOR HEALTH. This is not an issue with the grocery shop BUT THE IMPORTER SHOULD BE CAREFUL. WE WILL REPORT TO FDA IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN AND AGAIN AND THEY WILL LOSE THE LICENSE !

A complete grocery store with pretty good inventory which provides for not just staple Indian cuisine requirements but a very wide spectrum of Indian food/ grocery products. They also have very good selection of fresh vegetable even Indian variety of vegetable at nominal pricing. Their canteen has a good selection of tasty appetizing snacks and meals

An ideal place for Asian community specially from south east. The store has not only been able to stock a huge inventory of items including vegetables but have a small eatery stall put up for a quick bite for the convinience of its visitors. Some of the items needed for very special needs of small community could also be found. The vegetables were fresh and pricing reasonable.

We had Mango Lassie ($3.99 each) and Veggie Puffs ($2.50 each) at their in-store snack counter earlier today.Mango Lassie had no trace of any yogurt. Instead, it was just straight from a sugary canned Mango Nectar. Veggie Puffs were stale and they did not even warm them before serving. Needless to say, there was hardly any filling inside. You will get more for your money with better quality at other places nearby in Richardson.

The overall organization of store is pretty good, but its just that some employees are kind of rude, especially the stacking guys who are almost never ready to help you and just want to stay away from customers.

I have Got Dosa batter(Chennai Caters) from this shop on 8th February. I got it from the shop and stored it in the fridge on the same day. When I opened the batter on the same night, I saw the batter was spoilt and fungus was formed on top layer. I have spent $10 for going to India bazaar to shop there. And my batter is $6 and I dont want to spend again for travelling to get it because that will be a loss for me. I do have my bill and the item with me and I have also taken the picture of it when I opened it. India bazaar give me any suggestions what to do?. Other things which I brought was good.

Good place to buy Indian Groceries. Sometimes, its hard to find an item, as isles are not properly named. Would be a 5 starer otherwise. I understand maintaining returns on indian items is difficult, but it would be great if atleast packed items returns are accepted.

You should work on your employees especially the young girls who are fullof arrogant. She think that whole world is behind you. I was just asked.. do you carry kusalkanth. She could say with politeness NO but she said aap ko to hindi bhi nhi booli jaati. Thank you for your cheap service. I will definately come to your store but I cant expect a good customer services.

Food taste is very good. Clean and good environment and even the restroom are very well maintained. The only downside on this restaurant is, In buffet we dont have much option comparing to other restaurants - even though the price is same as other restaurant.

Ordered groceries online from india bazaar and received items with in two days shipped from this store. Items were in excellent condition due to their high quality packaging. Very impressed with their service and will order again.Update: Even during the pandemic situation I was able to order and receive groceries from India bazaar online.

This place is good for Indian chats or snacks. I liked their everyday deals. These are pretty cheap and really worth for the price you pay. Also the Indian groceries are available.

I really enjoy shopping here since its much better than other Indian stores in Richardson locations. The aisles are clean & items are displayed very well, they have great fresh produce, and all of the Indian products you can imagine. Clean, good vegetables, fruits, fair prices.

Their produce selection is pretty good and prices reasonable but we couldnt stay in the produce section very long as there was some nasty strong odor. Im giving only two stars as the Indian lady at the check was rude, no pleasantries and customer service!!! She didnt even bother to talk much just bad attitude.

This is a great little store. Ive been here a few times and Ive enjoyed their produce, spices, and their more traditional items. My favorite is their unique ice cream selection!

Theres no way you wouldnt notice the great customer service at this location. I found all I needed plus a cherished discovery of fresh peanuts.

Very organized

They have great selection of fresh vegetables. But some of the regular Pakistani and Indian items like Everyday Creamer or Maggie noodles are not available in this store. I would rather go to Sabzi Mandi for more selection of items.Yeah, I was surprised too... :)

I bought 4 coconuts, all were rotten, instead of a refund, a useless women was trying to speak rules, this is a country that values customer service, I regularly buy from this store worth hundreds of dollars, I hope the management learns to treat their customers well.
