Initially everything went great. The purchase and delivery went wonderfully. Even got our bed a day early. Unfortunately that is where the customer service and professionalism ended. When we were considering our purchase and were not sure which mattress to get the sales person told us we could go with the medium and with their 18 month guarantee if it is too hard or soft we could exchange it. This was the end of October 2017. August 2018 after trying and trying to soften what we had we decided that we needed a softer bed. It is now June 2019 and after MULTIPLE unreturned phone calls and messages and many empty promises we are now here. I normally find myself a very patient and forgiving person and I am now at the end. I believe I have been more than patient and accommodating. I am only writing this review because I do not think that there will be a good resolution to this. I am very disappointed in the lack of respect and communication. I caution anyone from doing business with them. I have many family members in the area and have warned them as well.

Awesome experience. Hands on and knowledgeable. Allen is the best. Very nice and not pushy. He will educate you on all options and what may best fit your needs. The delivery was free and prompt and took exactly 8 minutes for them to deliver and set up our new mattress and haul away our old one. Check these guys out you wont be dissapointed. Oh ya, they also have an 18 month satisfaction guarantee where you can exchange for a different model no questions asked. Thats pretty clutch. Go somewhere like here where its a family business and not a large corporation who hire car salesmen to push top models for commission. I actually enjoyed my experience shopping for a mattress here. This place is great. We had amazing experience buying our mattress here. I accidently stumbled upon this place but decided to invest my money here. Service was amazing all the way from the store manager to the delivery guys. Store owner helped us pick the right mattress for us without being pushy or pressuring us to buy at any point. All the stuff was very patient and helpful. Selection of mattresses was outstanding. Delivery was free and guys didnt leave until everything was setup the way I wanted. After visiting numerous mattress stores Im glad we found this place.

Bought a new bed. Everyone from sales to warehouse and any others were awesome! Got us the bed we needed at a great price. They will deliver and take the old bed away. Great store. Support was great also.

Family-owned, fantastic service and product. The beds that we have purchased from Allen Jr. and Allen Sr. (both veterans) have been the most comfortable beds weve owned. Weve found mattress shopping to be high pressure and the selection to be overwhelming, but not here--there is zero pressure to buy. You can find the bed you need and you cannot beat the service. We are set for the next few years thanks to them, but we will definitely return to Sleep Central when the time arises again.

I went to Sleep Central Mattress Store to purchase a new mattress for my daughter who just moved to Dallas/Richardson in order to attend UTD. Go Comets! In the process of our move, her original mattress got damaged which was not in our plan. So due to the unexpected mattress damage during our move; we were kind of in a rush trying to find a new mattress. We found “Sleep Central Mattress Store” and to our surprise we are extremely happy that we did! As soon as we walked in; we were greeted by Allen Harrell Jr. He helped us find the perfect mattress after several trials. We found a mattress that our daughter liked, yet it was outside of our price range. Allen Harrell Jr. was very accommodating with the price as well as setting us up for next day delivery which happened to be on a Sunday! The combination of the accommodating price of the mattress, and the next day Sunday delivery could not have been offered at a better time as we were all exhausted from the move and needed a mattress immediately! They were very polite and extremely professional! They also do NOT charge for delivery, and NO charge to remove your old mattress!!! Fantastic customer service BEYOND WORDS CAN EXPRESS!!!!!The delivery people were EXCEPTIONAL and On Point!!!! They were extremely polite and respectful, as well as fast and efficient!I then had a very small misunderstanding with the mattress protector that I had purchased with the mattress. I called the store and Allen Harrell Jr. was very helpful on the phone. This led me to going back to the store where Allen Harrell Sr. was also very helpful upon my arrival. The small misunderstanding was taken care of IMMEDIATELY ABOVE and BEYOND necessary to make sure that I was a very happy customer!I must say that from now on all of my mattress/bed purchases in the future will be from the “Sleep Central Mattress Store” as long as they are operated by this family. This being from someone who lives in Austin. I am willing to drive to Dallas/Richardson just to purchase from this mattress store! Yes, they are that GOOD! The buying experience here was great, as was the delivery experience. We were pleased with the entire transaction and the 18 month sleep trial on the mattress. We also purchased an adjustable frame, which has within 6 months become more creaky and awful than the 30 year old bed frame I got rid of. I contacted then and initially received a response, but 3 other attempts to follow up all went unanswered. Now we are stuck with a $400 frame that wakes us up several times throughout the night because its so loud. Im so disappointed in the lack of response or service on a customer issue after purchase.

When does one hear a customer say, I love the mattress store where we shop? WE DO! Sleep Central is a family owned and operated store, not a large retail operation. In 2012, we shopped Mattress Giant, Sleep Central, and others before buying our mattress and box springs from Sleep Central. Since then, we purchased smaller items (e.g., memory foam mattress toppers for air beds, and memory foam pillows) for our home and didnt bother going to the other retailers - we love doing business with the Harrell family at Sleep Central!

Our experience was great. We found the sales floor environment to be very comfortable and no pressure to buy. Allen, the owner, worked with us and answered all our questions along the way. We found the pricing to be very competitive with other stores. We took delivery of a mattress and then 4 months later decided that it wasnt the one for us. As part of their satisfaction guarantee, they took the mattress back and we upgraded to a Tempur Pedic. Zero cost to do this exchange, we only had to pay for the difference in price. I could not be more pleased with this transaction and the service after the sale. I recommend this business without any reservation.

Allen was such a help. His store has lots of chooses and they really know their stuff. Much better than the big box stores! They even took my old mattress and delivered for free. Ill never go anywhere else for a mattress!

It is only fair that I stop and write a review when a place like Sleep Central is as kind and helpful to a customer as they were to me today. My husband and I purchased a mattress through mattress giant 7 years ago. A sealy all latex…. well, we have unfortunately had to do a warranty replacement, as we encountered a lot of sagging (they have apparently corrected the problem over the years). Well, to make a LONG story short, mattress giant was bought out by mattress firm, mattress firm does not carry the sealy latex line and didnt care about replacing ours with a comparable mattress, and sealy told us tough because mattress firm was already handling our claim. After many phone calls with VERY rude people from mattress firm, I spoke with ONE nice person who reached out to sealy and got our claim sent back to them so they can handle it with replacing a like mattress. In the process of tracking down who in my area actually does carry the sealy latex line, Sleep Central was mentioned. We went out there to feel what the latex line feels like now a days, and not only did the store owners listen to what we have been through, but they cared enough to help in any way they can with the process with sealy. YOU DONT FIND THAT ANYMORE!!! These are genuine individuals that ACTUALLY CARE about their customers and even potential customers, as well as people in this world in general. They were so sweet and I was able to take a deep breath after leaving there. It has been a hard few months for us….. between the loss of our baby girl, the attack on officers, and some major appliances breaking down at our home, things have been tiring and rough. Sleep Central is a breath of fresh air…. SAVE YOURSELF and go to them instead of the big names like mattress firm and sleep experts (mattress firms sister company)!!! Thank you Sleep Central for reminding us that good people wanting to help others (complete strangers) do still exist!
