After a couple of weeks, I finally got a call to say that the cord control on my Electrolux could not be fixed. They had forgotten the reason I brought it in was that it kept turning off. After testing it while I was on the phone, o was told there are no parts for these machines and it can’t be repaired. Not true! I brought it right in to another place and $60 later, all is well. Bummer that while the site says they wear masks, I didn’t observe that on drop off orPick up. At least, I expect a referral of it’s something they can’t do.
Friendly and helpful. Tuned up my ancient Hoover while I waited. Ive used these folks for years.
Talked on the phone with Robin, then went in. Ive been through 4 $180 vacuums. This vacuum works better than any of them & he sales rep went above & beyond to help me
I called to ask to see if I could bring my vacuum in to be fixed. Without asking, they went through several problem solving steps with me to try to eliminate issues that I can easily fix at home. Although my problem wasnt solved and the model I own does not make replacement parts, they quickly directed me to call the manufacturer and how to properly ask for help.I really appreciated them going above and beyond for me, and Im assuming others!
The service is always thorough and forthright. The prices fair. I have been going to them for at least 5 yrs, btwn my grandmother, parents, and myself, and have always been well taken care of.
We got a Sebo vacuum when we got married - and it’s been great. We just used them to service the vacuum and they were really helpful and accommodated our needs.I’d highly recommend that you check these guys out for a high quality vacuum and vacuum repair.
We purchased a refurbished vacuum and evidently it didnt have a warranty. They unclogged it and fixed the auto cord retract for free. I arrived 10 before closed and they were kind to fix it even though I wasnt seen until after close. Great customer service. Trying to support locally and will definitely come back!!!
Great, family-owned, small business. They helped us find the perfect vacuum for our needs.
We purchased a home with a built-in vacuum. Jim spent time explaining how to care for the system and showed us how to change out pieces. He was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond in customer service. THANK YOU!!
Save yourself the non refundable deposit and take your vacuum somewhere else. Took my old Dyson there and they required an $89 non refundable deposit to even look at it. It took them over a week to let me know that according to them it would be almost twice the cost of a new one to fix the vacuum and tried to sell me a new one. I asked if I could bring my new Dyson in and have them just apply the deposit to a tune up. I was told they normally dont do this but OK. After not getting to it and being on vacation weeks later they called me with a quote of $318 saying it was dirty and needed new filters. Again they tried to sell me a new vacuum. This did not seem right so I called around and Dyson told me they are under warranty for 5 years. So I took it to the Dyson store in Edina where I was told the new $130 in filters were unnecessary. They cleaned the vacuum and replaced the brush free of charge. I was in and out in an hour not days or weeks to just get an answer. When my wife asked Robin about this and the warranty she became rude and short. dont pay for unnecessary repairs and save your money. It was an $89 lesson and a lot of time that I will never get back. I only wish that I had not let them keep my old Vacuum since it looks like I cold have gotten it fixed at a different store for a reasonable price.
So knowledgeable and helpful! Gave me tons of info on what I *should* be looking for in a vacuum but also kindly and quickly fixed my cheap crappy model. I will return each time my hunk of junk fails me and I will certainly buy my next vac from them!!
They fixed my broken vaccum. They were courteous and helpful.
Excellent service and selection of a wide variety of vacuums and accessories. This is where I get my vacuum bags, and my neighbors service their vacuums.
Great Service. Great Company. Great People. Always take care of their client even dont make any money on it. Will always come to them for vacuum cleaner needs.
So helpful on the phone. Helped me troubleshoot before setting up a service call. The troubleshooting worked and my vacuum is humming again. Wouldnt go anywhere else for a new vacuum or repairing my old one.
Had a relatively straightforward problem with my vacuum cleaner. They took it immediately and resolved the issue within minutes. Very satisfied with the speed and quality of the work. Will return with any future issues.
Excellent service! I highly recommend going here for you vacuum needs. James was very helpful and all the staff was very friendly.
We bought a Cyclovac Central Vacuum system for our new home in Northeast Iowa. Jim was helpful with all of my questions from day one. He reviewed our plans and provided valuable input. He took last minute phone calls and responded quickly. He eventually came down and did the final installation. He has been wonderful to work with and we love the system. We would highly recommend him and the CycloVac!!!
Nice sevice center. Tough to get to do to construction. Otherwise its a good place.
Told me my vacuum was disposable and offered to sell me a very expensive one I never heard of
I cannot say enough about how great Jim and A-1 were to work with in my purchase of my SEBO Airbelt K3. Previously had a 14 yr Sears Progressive canister. Was great but long in the tooth. Regardless of Consumer Reports latest rankings, the Sears product is overpriced and feels cheap. Researched vacuums online for over 20 hours and went to 8 separate vacuum retail locations. Only Jim at A-1 asked my about my cleaning needs, gave me a proper demonstration of the products and more importantly, didnt try to sell me the most expensive model or oversell the accessories. (I did that myself) Yes you may pay more than you would for a Hoover, Kenmore, Shark, dirt Devil or Bissell, but youll get your moneys worth and thensome. Never thought Id enjoy breaking out the vacuum, but the K3 is a joy to use and the air filtration system actually leaves the air cleaner than it was before vacuuming. The accessories are easy and fun to use. (If you have carpeted stairs, I highly recommend the extension hose and turbo brush) You can buy anything online, but youll never get the great knowledge & service like you will at A-1 Solutions. Shop around and do your own research, but at the very least talk to Jim @ A-1 Solutions in Richfield.
Great people great service honesty I would like to go back anytime very helpful
I bought both a vacuum and rug shampooer here/got advice on which kind was best for me and get great service if something goes wrong—which people often through out their old one these days—not very “green”.
Unique experience.
Great service and knowledgeable!
Closed arbitrarily on the Friday before Labor Day. Thanks for wasting my time.
