I really love this AutoZone. The employees there are very courteous and friendly and very helpful. I love the free diagnostic tool that they lend you to diagnose your car. I needed some stop leak for my radiator and radiator fluid and transmission fluid all of which they helped me find and it was at a very reasonable price.

I bought back a car battery that I purchased less than 3 years ago. They looked up my purchase, told me that I was covered under warranty, and I walked out with a new battery and only spent $3.75 for some terminal grease. Good service.

Very nice gentleman tested our battery just after the store opened, presented us with our replacement options, got us the right part. Wonderful experience.

My engine light came on yesterday and I went to the Richfield AutoZone store and Steve B graciously offered his assistance once I told him my problem. He smiled, went to get a meter of some kind, came out to my car, plugged it in under my steering wheel, and I turned on the car. Not only did he tell me what the meter said but didnt charge me for the information!! I can now approach any auto repair shop with a printout of what is wrong with my car. Thank you so much for this wonderful free service and the staff that provides it!!

After calling several other auto parts stores and being told NO they could not install my battery for me I decided to go to the nearest store, which I had not called, to buy my battery and install it myself. Upon checkout the gentlemen asked me if I wanted him to install it? I was amazed and said yes please. 15 minutes later I was back on the road. Thats service! Nice job Autozone Richfield. Fan for life.

Me and my whole family have been going to this specific autozone for years. They always help you right, and if anything is ever wrong they never argue. Just warranty/ exchange it out.

I went in to get my fob battery replaced. Wasnt busy, waited about 10 minutes to have it switched. Cool, that was nice. Go to try and start it and it doesnt work. Ask lady if she can take a look at it. She refuses, tells me shes done all she can do and wont look at it again. Okay fine.. few days go by. I decide to look into it myself. Turns out she did not take off the plastic wrap on the back of the key fob battery and wouldnt even look at it cuz she did everything she could. Maybe try not being rude next time and just make sure you did your job correctly, and we wouldnt have an issue. Happened week of 1/30/2020 around 6-7 pm.

Horrible computer system glitch!!!! we were in here for a long time while our friendly associate tried to get the system up and running but the computers are so SLOW and keep crashing and made our visit go from a 5 star rating to a 0 star rating if not for our friendly associates we would consider changing our regular business to somewhere else like OReilly. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM! THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED!!!

I have had only a few bad experiences here, but overall the staff are helpful. I do have to rely more on Charlie here for most stuff, due to him being the most knowledgeable. They usually carry 90 percent of the parts and tools that I’ll need so no complaints here, and are always willing to help see where I can find parts they don’t carry. I prefer the service here than the O’Reilly’s East of 66th.

Overall I have found the service and staff to be consistently friendly and helpful. Was surprised and impressed to find out recently they rent various tools...or let you use them with just a deposit. Definitely my go to place for oil and parts. Have had similar experiences with the one on Lyndale as well. No reason not to highly recommend based on my experiences over the last couple of years...very pleased.

Super helpful staff. Always try to find a solution every time I come there. Never make me feel like Im bugging them even at closing. Last time there part was out of stock as inventory was off. Guys still helped me find a solution at closing, and even gave me something just to help. Very rare in todays world to find service and people like this place. I went to the Bloomington store and thr guy did not want to help me look for a spline socket. Then when I asked to speak to the manager he refused to get the manager. These guys actually tried to help me find the right tool. Except they didnt have the right size socket

I used to love this place. Went here my whole life. It was my #1 go to for anything my car or motorcycle needed.UNTIL. Idk, management cheaped out? And cut half the staff! More than half. They have 2 workers at the most. It is RIDICULOUS!!!! You can’t just walk in and grab windshield wipers real quick, and be on your way. You’ll stand in line for a minimum of 20 minutes.Every time I come in I spend at least 1 hour in there just waiting on help or waiting in line. Customers are always so pissed, many storm out. I’m not going back.(THE STAFF IS NICE, and good at their job. But there is only 1-2 of them and they move slow as ice age.)

I have been into the richfield store twice in the past week. I needed a headlight bulb. Neither time was I offered any assistance. According to the website my car takes two size bulbs, I got the incorrect size. I asked to exchange the bulb, the associate stood there just telling me it was the wrong bulb. I finally walked out. Being that I was unable to make the exchange, had difficulty getting any answers, and customer series was seriously lacking, I have no intention of returning to this store.

Maybe its just hit or miss here, or their staffing levels fluctuate...but often its been very slow service and its sometimes difficult to get help finding things. Their radio is played too loud and is annoying if you have to sit there and wait. I only go here out of necessity and try to avoid it if at all possible. Its not the worst AutoZone, but it definitely needs improvement. Edit: Last two times Ive been in there have been good. Different shift with good results each time. I want to give credit where it is due. Good job AutoZone, keep it up.

Recently went there for a battery and one staff member was terrible. When I inquired staff member did not seem interested in helping. Staff member ran a test on my battery and said it was bad, 82% he said. When I asked him what that meant he replied 82% bad... you only got 18% of the battery left.... come to find out later at a different store that would have meant 82% charged, not 82% bad.Asked what battery he would recommend and he punched my make and model in to the computer and said any of these. I noted one said Group 35 and the current battery was Group 24F... staff member was unable to explain the difference.At this point im going through the purchase process and i asked if I needed anything else, I had read some lubricant was recommended. Staff member said I didnt need it; I asked what it did and he responded you need it when its cold outside... this is minnesota and its cold outside... continued to make me feel stupid than asked me if it was cold outside... i said yes it is, so youre telling me i need it? and he changed his original stance and said then you need it -- i was confused and asked if there was someone else who could help me to which he rudely passed me off to someone else at which point I walked out and brought my business elsewhere.
