Purchased a new car and needed my radar detector hard wired because I hate using the cord that plugs into the 12V outlet. Called that morning and set a same day appointment. Parts and labor was about $65 because I already had the mount and I mounted it myself to save on labor costs. I was in and out in about 30 mins. Friendly and professional shop. Will return later down the line to have amp and subwoofer installed.

These guys are awesome. They should have five stars. Dan helped me out a lot and gave me a lot of info that I never knew that I wanted to learn. The tech (Kevin) is insanely friendly. These guys know what there doing and will make sure you know what theyre doing( If you wanna know). If youre deciding between going to one shop vs another pick this one.

Dean and Co. were absolutely superb. I purchased a new head unit, amp and sub. It was my first purchase of a sub and I didnt know exactly what I wanted. They let me try out 3 subs before I made a final decision. I ended up going with a J&L 10 inch and it is perfect. There prices are competitive although they are not pushy, there installers are honest and let you see exactly what they are doing throughout the whole process. My next stereo upgrade will be at CC!

This is where you go for car audio, dont waste your time elsewhere. The people there arent pushy, dont harp on warranties and absolutely know their stuff. I mistakenly trusted crutchfield who told me to get a speaker with a spacer to make it fit, these guys sold me speakers that fit as well as the originals. Finally, their prices are competitive, though I dont mind paying more for that type of service. I will not go elsewhere.

I recently had a new car stereo installed as well as upgraded speakers and subwoofer. They did a great job of helping me find the right system for me. No issues with the install and Mike was very professional and informative. My system sounds great, I highly recommend this place. I did take off one star because the subwoofer was not anchored in my trunk, but that is a simple fix.

If your not interested in top of the line everything your made to feel foolish. Very elitist and opinionated staff. Not everyone needs competition ready gear. Not everyone has that kinda budget. I was ready to spend thousands there. Sorry that wasnt enough to be worthy of my business.

Communication Center is good. TC Auto Spot is not good.I installed Kenwood DDX9904s by myself, and Kevin(installer at Communication Center) fixed the issue with the back up camera and also fixed the connection to ODB2. Everything is working now. I took to the TC Auto Spot initially, and Mr Eric worked on 10 minutes or so and just gave up on fixing the issue. Kevin worked all the way for me and found an issue with the missing pin for the reverse sensor, and explained everything what was wrong and fixed within the timeframe that they estimated. If you are looking for the Car Audio in the South Minneapolis area, look no further, but go with Communication Center. Do not go to TC Auto Spot. I sense the fake google review on TC Auto Spot.

They may be good at installation but.......I made an appoint for 5:00 in the evening one day. I received a voicemail at 3:30 asking to call Communications Center regarding my appointment. After some chatting it was determined that my appointment had been bumped due to unforseen circumstances in earlier installs. I understand in a service industry situations like this may occur. My issue came with how they dealt with the unfortunate circumstance. I asked for the next day and they man working said that the next day was booked solid and no exceptions were to be made. I asked when the next available install could occur and it was not for a a few days. No other concessions were made (discount in service or products etc.). So in my opinion, the shop very well may do good work, but it could be very difficult to actually have your car brought in at the scheduled time.

These guys have really pimped my ride. Incredible head unit I can sync with my iPod, android phone over Bluetooth for phone calls and music, movies, etc. Sound system with JL Audio amps, subs, and speaker. Pure sonic bliss and the the headrest monitors playing movies keeps kids and parents happy on long road trips. The combination key-less entry, security system, remote starter is great especially on hot or cold days. The 2-way remote lets me know what is going on with the car whether it is locked, unlocked, or somebody is messing with it. Great service and great products. Highly recommend!

I had new 10-gauge speaker wire, a new Pioneer deck, and 2-gauge subwoofer wire installed in my 1992 GMC G2500 about a year ago. As I spotted exposed wires and unglued carpeting, I disassembled the dash panel soon thereafter to find a gross mess of sliced speaker, channel, and remote wires, also a few wires that needed not even be in the mix after the stock radio had been removed. The left front speaker wire was wrapped around the front left air vent; the right front speaker as well as remote wire was left hanging freely behind the dash panel and is an absolute chore getting out of the way each time I take off the doghouse and service my vans engine. Furthermore, along the side edge of my van there is carpet visibly unglued and, in some spots, visible wire. The tech installed my amp in a sideways manner and secured it to the floor, rendering it much harder to tweak the levels and gain on the opposite, not visible side under the rear seat.Audio sounds fantastic as Id anticipated, though it is noteworthy that I shelled out $989 for this complete install, for which the professional labor I feel be worth perhaps half. Also upon presenting said technician with my own provided materials, he said of the 10-gauge speaker wire: Thats overkill. Granted, though it is not his concern what the customer clearly wants. Personal annotations are irrelevant.
