I absolutely love this store. It has a ton of table top games and a ton of comics as well. Its even fun to just walk around and look at all the statues of heros they have on their shelves. I recently checked out their dice collection and the all metal ones are pretty cool. Definitely recommend this place even of youre just driving around looking at stores.

I just needed to give a shout out to how amazing Adventures Underground is. Not only do they do online orders, but their care and consideration is top notch.Im a fan of Patricia Briggs series and when she tweeted that shed gone in and signed all their copies I was delighted at the chance to nab one. To my surprise, rather than just sending the book outright Adventures Underground reached out to me and let me know that I had nabbed one of the books Patty hadnt signed. They offered to swap them out, but I was so impressed they were aware and alerted me first that I just opted to add another one on. They were able to add it in on my order, without me having to do any of the legwork. To top it off, they came wrapped with such care.TLDR: People + staff here are amazing. Order from them. I know I will be again.

This place is pretty sweet, it reminds me of Borders or Barnes and Noble but waaay better! They have collectibles, comics, books and Im sure theres other stuff. I loved that its an independent bookstore with a big bookstore feel. I found the book I was looking for and a couple others. It would be very easy to spend hours in this place!

I am so glad I took the time to stop in and explore this amazing store! I could easily spend many more hours in here, browsing through all the books, records, games, toys and all the other odds and ends this place sells. The employees were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me find a couple games I was looking for, that my kids were thrilled about! I was very happy to see them busy and thriving, as these types of stores have become a thing of the past. I dont know if or when Ill be back in Richland but you can bet that Ill be returning here if I find myself in the area again!

This is ultimate nerd store: RPGs, board games, books, records, action figures, posters. Its a good 5 hours of browsing if youre into everything in the store. I spent about 3 hours going through the sci-fi and records. The sci-fi was great- reasonable prices on a huge, high quality used book collection. The vinyl prices were about average but they had some cool oddities like a 10 single collection (literally never seen one of those.) Make sure you look in the record shelves under the top record bins, theres good stuff for cheap. There was a Front 242 12 single for $5 that Ive seen for $25+ on eBay; I actually bought it from eBay at one point for $7 because I thought that was the online deal of a lifetime. Nope!

Probably the best all around Comic/Games/Sci-Fi/Hobby Store in not just Tri-Cities, but all of Central WA. We drove from Yakima to here (only an hr drive), and found amazing and well priced board games! They had the LE Christmas Ed of Patchwork for an amazing price! Lots of great side stuff (such as the newly created Sanrio/Hello Kitty snack box packs), for the same price you get from ordering online, except you get to pick and handle it yourself (dont have to worry about some smiley face van flinging it onto your doorsteps and smashing your snack box). So many amazing and positive things from this place, such as their care for safety and security of their patrons... New Structure: The store opens up for the first 45 mins of every hour. They close the store the last 15 mins of every hour to do cleaning. Masks is enforced to safeguard themselves and all the customers. Please help them out and help out a local business! Support them, this place needs your help! Lets go Tri-Community!!!

While visiting family in Richland, I came across this store and was able to find gifts for my nieces and nephews. Prices and variety of things to choose from was great! Definitely a neat store to visit.

Amazing book and game store with strong offering of various types of game (FPG, CCG, Miniatures, baord games, etc), comics, and -- of course -- books. The attached coffee shop is always on-point and offers rotating seasonal specials. Staff of the bookstore are knowlegable and can order almost anything they dont carry on the shelves.

We were in the market for board games and kids activities and this place over exceeded our expectations! They had in stock each game we were looking for and we added several to our wishlist while perusing! They had a neat train table area for my 2 little kiddos to play at while we searched. They had lots of fun Melissa and Doug kids activities. Looked like they had a great book and comic selection as well. The store is very well organized and the staff was very friendly. They also have a neat room in the back where you can go with friends and try out playing lots of games! Ill definitely be back!

Would love to support this store, however after walking in today I was not wearing a mask and did not have one and instead of the gal asking nicely she was very rude. Then she litterly shoed me out the door with her hands. If I had one I would have put it on, its whatever. However As part of a family owned local shop myself if you are going to require masks still, then provide them or at least ask nicely ! I will never support this business again. Not the type of store I want to give my money too!

Cool bookstore and gaming shop with an attached cafe. A Richland/TriCities icon. While Its much smaller than Powells in Portland, it sort of has the feel of a mini-Powells. I bought The Dubliners by James Joyce, but also was shown a nice minimalist chess set that didnt quite prod me to buy it, but it was nice they took the time to pull it out for me. They had a nice selection of chess sets and other games as well as a fantastic selection of gaming dice. Its worth spending money at a place like this rather than buying on line just to keep places like this in business.

Update. They made it right and apologized.this place has always been good to us and weve loved supporting them. But on our most recent pre-order they took our name and number 3 times and when we went to check on it again they told us their quota was full and they couldnt help us. wed never received a phone call. We were extremely disappointed in their additudes and actions during our interactions.

The cashier was helpful, but couldve been friendlier. They didnt carry several of the comic books I went there to get, or were sold out of others that they did carry. Overall, its a great store and I wont let this one experience determine my shopping there in the future. Ciao!Update 1/8/21: They had most of everything I went there to get. And how! They were selling Game of Thrones Catan for like $80 right... I specifically asked the employees if the game could be played stand alone and I asked them to reassure me like 10 times cause I am not familiar and it was a gift for my husband. So it turns out they sold me an unplayable extension pack that is only $40 online. I’m sure they won’t refund me because the plastic has been taken off and I misplaced the receipt. Huge ripoff, this was my husband’s only birthday present.

This is a great store for finding rare books, games, comics, and educational tools, nearly anything in the Sci-fy world or comic world. Also a good selection of anime if you are into that. Always friendly as well and helpful if you need something special ordered. Love this gem!

Huge selection of books at reasonable prices.

While Ive always been treated somewhat poorly in the store while asking questions, the gate-keeping attitude of the clerk yesterday* (this happened more than a month ago now) finally was too much for me. Im not coming back to this store, and if you want to enforce the mask mandate, you need to a) provide those state mandate rules to the people you approach at the time you approach them, and b) get them correct. I couldnt find anything about how my mask, which covered my nose and mouth, was out of the actual mask mandate rules, and it certainly felt like it was just an excuse for a petty cashier to pull a power play. It was humiliating and degrading and its not the first time that I have felt that I was trying to be removed even before this pandemic. Im not loud, I always buy a good amount of stuff, I dont ruin displays and I dont bother other customers. I was also told that if I were a person who couldnt wear a mask for medical reasons, (which I *was* wearing a mask,) that I could shop online. So if you have a legitimate disability like COPD they dont want you in their store??? Or maybe it really was that they just specifically didnt want me and this was the way they decided to exclude me from their store. I dont know, but it was a terrible experience and Im not taking my family back here.*edit to reply publicly to the response below:It took me over a year to even get back out in public to see friends and family I hadnt seen in months AFTER vaccinations in our area were widespread and I still was harassed for not being somehow good enough, and ONLY at your store. I realize that lack of compliance could kill a business and you have those interests to protect, and I even agree with and support those interests, but the experience crossed the line. I even would believe that your employee had the best intentions and was just doing the best they knew how with the information they had on hand, but its abusive to push people to follow even stricter guidelines than what already strips people of the self agency they had before. That was not appropriate or fair, and I do as much as anyone anyone else has or did for doing my part during the pandemic and I dont appreciate being bullied to do even more. Thank you for responding to my concerns.*for clarification: the person who approached me was a woman, and the event occurred a month before this edit, but for whatever reason Google is not tracking the date correctly. It also means it took you a month to respond, which I appricate. You can enforce whatever rules your employees want, but you cannot abuse your customers by being snotty and shaming them into more compliance. If you need me to respond again, Im more than happy to respond with why it isnt appropriate to demand people be happy with enforcing discrimination.

This is my favorite comic shop in Washington! There may be others like it but this is my favorite.The employees are super chill and the events are always worth checking out. Their records can be a bit expensive but they’ve got some good stuff in the discount wall.Anyways if you’re looking to get out of the house to check out some cool nerdy stuff there’s no better place in eastern Washington.Anime figures, vinyl records, books, comics, snacks, coffee, manga, models, card games- this place has it all.

Great for readers of all interests, lots of comics and graphic novels. The staff are friendly and are willing to help you if youre looking for something specific. The store is also huge, lots of stuff for everyone. I do recommend being prepared to social distance and wear a mask, as a bandana or something else might not let you in. I know people complain, but they are just trying to keep everyone safe and are following the states orders.

First of all I love that its huge with so many different choices from books and magazines to tarot cards. The only reason I am giving four stars is because their metaphysical / witchy section which is the section I always look for is lacking a lot. I am super freaking happy that I found a first edition book by silver ravenwolf, its in new condition but spending twelve bucks on a book that was published in 1993 its kind of expensive. But it was willing to pay for it because of the condition it was in. I do really wish that they sought out more metaphysical witchy book I have been practicing witchcraft for a long time but it is now becoming a lot more acceptable so therefore I would expect them to have a much better selection. The service was okay the gentleman was on the phone clearly irritated with the customer on the other end and did not ask for help until I stood at the counter steering on for approximately three and a half minutes with no interaction with me. That threw me off.

If you love comics and books this is the place to go!

Amazing staff, wonderful visit

One of our favorite places. I wish we had been better at supporting them through curbside during their Covid 19 shutdown BUT since reopening, I am so impressed with how they have handled everything. We go very few places right now but Adventures Underground has managed to keep us coming back again and again. My daughter misses their free kids events and we cant wait until they can get back to that. They have so many great educational toys for kids and the best selection of books, comic books and graphic novels for young minds and grown minds alike.
