Earlier this week, I was extremely concerned about the amount of workers they had on the floor because I only saw two girls working the hardware section. While it was only them I rate this place a 5 star because of their excellent customer service. I can’t remember their names but their work ethic truly defined what teamwork looks like. They were polite and greeted everyone and helped all of my shopping needs. For managing the hardware area all by themselves, I hope their work ethics does not go unrecognized !

I like the quality of the products here. Staff are very knowledgeable. Occasionally, I will find a product online what shows as available at this store, only to go to the store and find out they dont carry it. Good local business, but there is a disconnect with the online website and the on site inventory some times.

I highly recommend this store! For one my awesome amazing Dad works here and is very nice helpful and knows most of the departments and will go the lengths to help each customer leave satisfied!! The other employees are just as amazing and everyone knows their job and works very hard Ive never left unhappy!! They have great supplies and clothing as well!

Always like Griggs, get little store with plenty of options to choose from with tons of good prices. The Richland store NEEDS be larger.

I buy all my hardware needs at this ACE HARDWARE. They have great employees that are helpful, knowledgeable. If they dont have what I need or out of stock they order it for me. Never takes more than a couple of days. They value my patronage and I enjoy shopping there.

Its rezable price for Carhartt gear if I was everyone I would wash things before you use them from Griggs

I seriously love this place. I drive all the way to this store instead of going to stores closer to my home. The employees, especially Mel are extremely helpful and kind. A breath of fresh air!

Came here to get Christmas lights after Lowes had awful customer service. Griggs had a great selection and was the exact same price as Lowes on several items. Every single employee that we came across greeted us with a smile and welcomed us as well as asked if we needed any help. Truly phenomenal customer service!

My only complaint about the store is that even though Ive been shopping here for years, the employees still follow me around like they think Im shoplifting. Half the time I get flustered and leave without half of what I need because I get tired of having sales associates bombard me with aggressive helpfulness, then act put out when I accept their offer to help. I shop here only when absolutely necessary.

I used to love coming to ace because of the friendly service and helpful staff. However this new evening work crew no where near what they have been in the past. None of the kids will ask if you need help, they will walk right by and ignore you, and the guys in the gun department have been especially rude to my wife on multiple occasions now. Im sorry to say i will be driving to kennewick from now on to shop Lowes.

They are not following mask mandates, claiming falsely that they cant enforce due to HIPAA. HIPAA only applies to medical providers and patient information and has nothing to do with this situation. This business doesnt care about its customers, or employees health and safety.

They are awesome. They let you bring your dog in as long as its leashed up and behaves. Then they give your dog a treat when you check out. Great people and excellent customer service

I needed a specific item to mount a seat in a racecar. I had very little room to work with and needed a specific size and length and then low and behold the item was found at Griggs Ace Hardware. Another nice feature was the location of the store itself. It is really nice when you can locate items within such a close proximity (2 mile) of my home and at a fair price.

They dont have it? You dont need it (except groceries). Great deals on work clothes, tools and garden stuff.

Thank you Griggs for driving me to shop at Lowes. In one transaction it saved me 33% Ive had mixed interactions with Griggs. Been in there at least a dozen times, theres been two friendly employees the whole time. Most walk by hoping you dont notice them. The last time I was and will be in I first asked an employee where something was. He tried walking off while I asked him, then lead me to the aisle, pointed at air compressors, and walked off. Then my chip in my card wouldnt work. The manager on duty refused to have an employee manually input my card. Mentioned Griggs to my neighbor who said theyre always snooty to me. No wonder people shop online these days. Thanks again Jeff for saving me money by getting me to shop elsewhere! Lowes greeted me with a hello how can I help you, took my payment method, and won my business. Bye bye Griggs!

Prices are a little steep but the staff are very knowledgeable.Had to update my review, because I saw something inside the store that made me puke in my mouth a little: Trump 2020 hats and shirts.Ace is a hardware store, and shouldnt be spewing its political BS all over its customers.

Big store has most everything your average shopper or local businesses want, good alternative to the big box stores. Even if its big and boxy.

Ace is a local family owned business that excels at customer service. They have an outstanding selection for their size including one of the best hardware sections in the area. Staff are knowledgeable and very helpful.

The employees that are around ask if they can help you find any thing, instead of walking by assuming you know every thing about the store. In other stores you have to search for help to find an idem or questions about an idem. The cashiers are pleasant and when they think the total is high they check the receipt to make sure it is correct. I bought an idem that was higher priced that the cashier normally doesnt see. Thank you cashier!!!

I have always enjoyed going to Griggs Ace Hardware. I like that I can go to a hometown store and find what I need along with getting personal service and knowledgeable answers. I love the new store! Even during a crazy snow storm when everyone was out of snow shovels they had a great selection and didnt raise prices to take advantage. They are always friendly. It is a good sized store but not a box store so it is a quick in and out.

I bought 3 of the same items and was charged for 4. They were good about letting me just go get the 4th item that I was charged for. Wasnt to much inconvenience because the store is on my way to go places.

If theres anything very specific that I need, say like a specific size torx bit, Ace has always been my go-to. Cant tell you how many times Ive gone to other hardware stores, only to find out I watered my time and then I find what I need at Ace. I just wish they had a real garden center. But I love how they carry actual work clothing. Theyre the only bricknmortar retailer Ive been able to find that carry Dickies overalls. The staff actually help you find what you need or what will work for your purposes, unlike what youll encounter at THD or Lowes. Love this place.

Friendly staff, sales weekly, good prices. Everyone knows their stuff and no one pushes, peddles or harasses you into buying stuff. Couldnt ask for a better ACE store and definitely worth the extra drive.

My wife and myself went in to ace hardware several months ago to purchase many household goods needed, intending to spend at least a couple hundred dollars. We worked at a fitness club and both had just gotten off work, so we had our backpacks with our work stuff inside. Our car does not lock so we took our bags in with us, and never had an issue ANYWHERE we go, as we are both 40 years old with all our teeth and nice clean clothes. We were abruptly stopped and told to leave our bags at the front of The store while we shop. Our reply was, We have our wallets and medication in our bags, we will keep them with us thank you. We were told that was not store policy and we would have to leave them at the front desk. Once again we politely declined and decided that they were going just lose our business instead. I dont care what your policy is, there is no way Im going to trust some stranger to keep an eye on my bag so they dont have to worry about a couple of old people stealing their merchandise. What if someone stole my wifes bag with her medication, or my bag with all my money and cards in it? I would probably be told they werent liable. Heres an idea Ace, instead of that, how about you check our bags on the way out if you suspect us of stealing your overpriced goods? Ill gladly let you pilfer through my dirty gym clothes if you have a hard-on for it! You made us feel like we were assumed thieves as soon as we walked through the door! Never have I had an issue before in your store, but that single event has changed my families mind about You! Its not just my wife and I that stopped frequenting your store, but both of our extended families as well. Well played Ace...well played!

Large store, spread out and difficult to shop in a hurry. Prices were okay, but not a huge discount. Some unique gift choices looked interesting, as checked out. Seemed like a slow checkout and minimal customer service available to help with evaluating products to buy.

Had a question over air compressor parts and a recent Online with their store. As always, friendly customer service people waiting on me was great. They are always very professional.

I love this place! I love being greeted at the door with a smile! It feels good to support local owners and get good service. Local tip: I feel I get better service from the more experienced employees. If you need a part, bring it or a picture of it in with you.

They had a nice variety of hoses and water wands. Of course there is candy by the check out and I could not resist. Limit of $25 cash back with debit card. So I will have to go to the bank tomorrow to get cash for graduation cards.
