Great store!! Store Associated were very helpful! I asked about recommendations and the young man was knowledgeable and truly assisted in making my decision in choosing the correct paint. I try to shop local. This is a family run business with personalized service. Yes, Ace is a chain but the people here are nice and will help you find the right part for the job.

They have a very good variety of goods. The staff is helpful and buying local is a plus. I wish they carried pet products, but otherwise they are great resource for Richmond Hill.

Attempted to refill brand new propane tanks. Lady that met me outside to fill was unfriendly and obviously did not want to be there. She asked if the tanks were new which I replied yes. She suddenly came to life and said because they were new she could not fill them, they had to be purged. I pointed to the stickers on each tank that said tank purged. She said she could still not help me. Not the first time dealing with rude employees at this business.Took my propane needs up the street to Loves. Had a great experience there with no issues.

Service has gotten better since I started shopping there (15+yrs ago). Selection is not quite as good/thorough as it could be for a well established hardware store. Prices are mostly reasonable. Will definitely continue to patronize this local business.

Spent over $500.00 on a golf cart repair last month and the cart is doing the exact same thing it was before I had it repaired. Spoke with an individual at the store about this and he wants to charge a diagnostic fee and on top of the transportation fee. I agreed t the transportation fee but to be charged twice for something they got wrong is just robbery. he told me nothing was free and my stance was I already paid for a product that was not delivered. They have lost another customer. Very poor customer service

So I left a review a year ago on a golf cart that ace hardware serviced of mine. They left my wheels and tires that I had recently purchased out to rust in the elements. A few months later I have a guy showing up to my House telling me to delete the review and asking if it was fake. I had no clue who this was and it was really sketchy and went through my taxes to find out where I live and showed up on my property.

Used to like coming in here for supplies. Finally visited during the pandemic to see that no employees were wearing masks. If a business cant care about their customers safety while theyre in the process of giving them their money...well, I guess Ill just be spending my money elsewhere, including after the pandemic. That is the very most basic thing you can do to show you respect your customers lives and wallets.

If you live in Richmond Hill, dont go anywhere else but here! I explained what I needed to the gentleman and he listened, asked additional questions, and made sure he knew exactly what I needed. I was looking for the wrong thing, and he guided me in the right direction.. he took a lot of time to make sure i had what i needed. Best customer service I have ever experienced at a hardware store. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Here’s the thing: There’s a global pandemic. Everyone—not just Georgians—are strongly urged to wear masks to prevent unwittingly spreading COVID-19. I don’t care how good the merchandise selection is: Not a single employee was wearing a mask. This singular act is a failure in management to help ensure the well-being and safety of every person who walks through that door. Albeit less convenient, I’ll take my business to the ACE up the road where EVERY SINGLE employee wears a mask.

Usually have a great experience here. I was helped out by a nice young man. But employees must not be asked to wear masks. It is important to me as when I need help ( which is always!), It is not possible to social distance. Just made me a bit uncomfortable. Nice young man tho :)

I love this little hardware store. Having just moved to Georgia, I found myself in need of various things to help me fix up my new home. Without fail, Royal Ace Hardware has had everything I need, and more. I even found local honey there this morning which is great for supressing allergy symptoms, as well as, this cute vintage tin sign! Way to Go Royal Ace!

They do have a golf cart section but it is always in disarray with parts strung all over the floor and shelves. If you have a golf cart related question like I did today, be prepared to be made to feel like you are wasting the time of the “golf cart guy” who works there. I bought batteries there last year because it was convenient but I guarantee you I won’t be wasting anymore of my time or theirs by trying to give this place my golf cart business.

It is true if you have questions these people have answers any little Gizmo related to your house or home these people can figure it out its and they have a huge display wall for the silliest little things so thankful for the help and courtesy that these places offer so hard to find at the big box stores

Great store just slightly over priced. Also used to have guns and ammo in the store which made a great alittle addition. Now they replaced it with a knife store which is nice but not the same.

Best place for hard ware things

I have been going here for years for both personal and business use with zero issues until recently. If you are getting your golf cart serviced with Royal Ace, do not make the same mistake that I did by leaving the charger on the cart, because it could go missing. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed in how Jamie handled the situation. While it is convenient, I will not be going back.

Great customer service! The paint color they mixed for me wasn’t a perfect match at first so another employee came to help and it was just that it needed more time in the mixer. They didn’t stop until I was happy and I know that they would have mixed another can of they hadn’t been able to match the quart if bought the day before. Prices are avg and it’s nice to support a locally owned business rather than a big box store

Always something unique on display. Love the handcrafted birdhouses. Very helpful and friendly employees.

Place has gone downhill over the years. Four employees joking around and laughing. Would not offer to help and I couldn’t find a break in their conversation to ask for help. Left and took the ride to Lowe’s where I received much better service.

I went here to have copies of keys made a few times and they were very helpful and friendly. The keys came out perfectly and the woman that rang me up at the front was very friendly!

Good place to get items

I had a while back posted a review on this store and after continuously going back in there I came to the conclusion that it wasn’t them but my perception which was wrong and even though I had written a review on an employee there in which I mentioned her name she would still speak and try to provide services to me as well as others. What that showed me was well training, persistently applying customer service no matter what. I tip my hat to Ms. Amanda and the manager is awesome, wish we had more people like that then everyone would be smiling all day. Thank you Ace shareware employees for just being you and serving the community.

Bought a $30 dollar part for a golf cart. Wasn’t for the right cart. Went to return it and they said they don’t take back golf cart parts. The girl who sold it it to us never mentioned that. We will not spend my money there again. Very disappointed because we bought our golf cart from them.
