I went in the store looking for a twin headboard and left with a full-size headboard, dresser & mirror, mattress, bed frame, and stove!!! Brandon at the Tomlynn location was absolutely AMAZING!! He was polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable of all the merchandise! After a not so favorable experience at another location I was apprehensive about even visiting this one but I am so glad I did! The other locations in the Richmond area need to take notes because Brandon saved me as a customer! Give this man a raise!!

This place was recommended by a friend. We found the washer and dryer we wanted. Eddie was nice and helpful. We left on a good note. Paid and a delivery 5 days later .Delivery day ...driver calls... everything seems good. Then it began 90 mins of us waiting as the driver drove to every base entrance we have here and then just left bc he wasnt allowed on bc *background issues*My husband had to leave for work, they were to call him back and explain. 5 hours later I call them and ask whats happening... I finally got an answer they cant deliver here only driver has no base access. I was upset they didnt call my husband back as they said they would .So we rented a uhaul and drove to north Richmond and got a delivery refund. And then waited in line to load outside for 45 mins 🤨🤨They will load it on and walk off. We then had to ask for cardboard to protect the items and strap it down ourselves as they watched. We get home and the washer knob is missing.All in all not worth the savings bc it took me an extra week to find out I had to get it myself.Update: they replied here that they would call me.... they have not followed thru with thatUpdate 2: Brandon reached out from American Frieght and we got a new knob! And a rebate back for the trouble. It was very nicely handled by Brandon and I do appreciate it. Well be back to try again with our next appliance need.

Went there to check some stuff and I was told they had good deals - buy and take home with only $50 deposit and complete payment in 3 months. Sounds simple right!! When its too good to be true, somethings fishy.What they dont tell you is, when you agree to this deal, they immediately sign you up for a loan through First Finance in Texas. You pay this company $52 initial payment and then you make monthly payments. After 3 months your interest goes up!!! Need I say more!!! Be careful when you visit this place. Its ok if financing is your only option, but we want the truth up front.

On 3/17/21 I purchased a Refrigerator from the American Freight Tomlyn Street Location. I was told the refrigerator only need a bracket for the door & I could get it delivered on 3/19/21 if the bracket came in but he could for sure get it to me on 3/22/21. When Friday arrived I called to speak with the salesperson I spoke to whose name was Brandon and he stated that the bracket had just come in and the fridge didnt get on the truck but it would for sure be delivered on 3/22/21. 3/22/21 I called to see what time the fridge was going to be delivered and was told the fridge would not be delivered today & hadnt made it on the truck. My husband went to the store to speak with the asst. manager Doug who told us he would definitely get it to me by Tuesday 03/22/21 and he had no idea as to why it wasnt scheduled for delivery I received later this evening stating that didnt know when the fridge could be delivered because not only was the bracket not in it needs more than just that part. They said we could cancel so we did. DONT EVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE AND IF BRANDON IS YOUR SALES GUY RUN LIKE ALL HELL.

Walked onto the salesfloor, gentleman sitting in a chair on his phone never looked up and mumbled, What are you looking for? I kept walking. Walk into another room where the beds were. A man laying on a bed all comfortable, chilling on his phone. Turned and walked out. Is business so good that you can afford for your staff to literally just lay around?

After a very bad start, my experience with American freight was great. Looking for a 27inch electric dryer and was sold a gas dryer by mistake. Md was very helpful finding the correct machine and arranging for same day delivery to switch them out.
