We took our three nephews (ages 8 to 13) to Cimmarron Archery so we could all spend time doing something fun. We shot in the 2nd floor indoor range. This was exactly what we hoped for. All five of us are brand new to archery. Our instructors were very patient, provided perfect and clear instructions. It was amazing that after an hour how much our accuracy had improved. Had an excellent time. Would always recommend as a family activity. Pricing is very good. Will come back.
I love this place! The guys there are the best. Their arent many BM archery shops areound anymore, we need to speend money here. They are the only ones I will trust working on my bow.
Peter did a great job fixing my bow in a very timely manner. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything. Thanks again, will be returning.
I had a really great experience going here. They have shooting lanes upstairs and the hourly fee is very reasonable. I also took lessons here from a couple of their instructors, as I am new to archery. Family owned business that is usually on the property too. Peter helped me out, he is knowledgeable, professional and didnt try to up sell me at every turn. I will definitely be taking more of my business here. Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.
Brought my first used bow here to have it torn down, checked out, and had new strings and cables installed. They initially said it will probably be about 1.5 - 2 weeks due to the lead time to get the string and cables in. It ended up taking about 2.5 weeks, but in fairness, I brought the bow in a week before bow season opened in Wisconsin, so I cant hold that against them. He also stayed 5 hours later than he was supposed to one day to get caught up on work and got mine finished, so major props on that. They did an awesome job and were more than willing to answer all of my questions as a new bow owner, as well as provide recommendations without upselling me into spending money unnecessarily. I highly recommend Cimmarron and will be back to use their ranges and for any future maintenance. Thank you guys!
Man what a great place. It is old yes, but with that comes old school personal service. Old ways of taking care of your customer, as a matter of fact they didnt sell me. Believe it or not they helped me decide to hold on to my money. We took a class that we really enjoyed and will purchase after a little more trying it. I really loved that the two owners were right there helping us and let me make a clear choice after we try it out for a while! The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful also. He was very good with the kids and me. We will be back.
0 if I could. Very rude and unprofessional. Doesn’t care about anyone, and doesn’t value people. Especially sad with the brainwashing of a certain political party.
Excellent service! My father and I are getting back into bowhunting after a long time off. We stopped in to see if we could get an old bow set up for my dad and I needed some arrows made up. We didnt have an appointment but they made every effort to get as much done as they could for us in between their other scheduled appointments. They answered our onslaught of questions and were very accommodating. We have been to other bow shops recently, some we were made to feel we were inconveniencing them, some pressured us to buy new bows, some were very opinionated about our equipment. We did not experience any of those issues at Cimmarron Archery. Cant wait to go back.
Im new to the sport and recently went here for my first bow. They were extremely helpful to a guy who literally knew nothing about archery. You could tell right off the bat that they are passionate about their trade and love what they do. I highly doubt I would have received this level of service from Bass Pro or Cabellas. If you are new to archery or looking for a place to shoot, look no further.
My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Midwest Cimmarron Archery in Richmond. Peter took the time to measure both of us for the proper bow, and made sure we understood all the options for beginners as well as exercise options to prepare for our bows arrival. Highly recommend!
Nice comfortable and friendly place to practice. Took my grandson and had s blast. Had a bad nock on one of his arrows and was give a common sense answer on how to fix with technical advice as to what I should not do, that I thought would have been a good repair. Knowledgable people!
Nice place to shoot, indoor target or outdoor 3D range. Good equipment selections, accessories and technical assistance.
After having a horrible experience at a shop in Lake Geneva, I took my bow to Cimmarron where they set me up with every thing I needed. They answered every question I had. Great shop! I found my new goto archery shop! Thank guys!
This place simply isnt worth your time.
Had some work done on my new PSE, was in and out in about an hour and left knowing more about myself and archery equipment than any place I have been in the last 30 years of bowhunting!!! GREAT experience and plan to be back very very soon
Great place to shoot your bow, me and the daughter had a great time and the staff went out of their way to offer help AAA+++ indoor and outdoor ranges
Very disorganized shop. Felt like I was stepping over stuff while I moved throughout the store
THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! I GARUNTEE YOU THAT YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPOINTED WITH THERE WORK! THEY LOVE WHAT THEY DO AND LOVE HELPING OTHERS AND MAKE SURE THEY HELP ANYONE WHO COMES IN. MIDWEST CIMARRON IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST I PROMISE!
My experience, as with so many others who go here, is simply poor, perhaps one of the poorest retail operations Ive ever experienced. If you want bad advice and to over pay, go here. Bowtech is the only reason to go here. Get your bow and go to Bass Pro in Gurnee. Dont even let them sell you any accessories or arrows. Here was our experience: a) convinced us to buy a left handed bow b/c of left eye dominance (neutral); b) sold us an expensive tru-ball release and never fit the release to the customer (just lazy); c) ordered us a bow that they could not supply and after 15 business days, made us change the order to a non-camo version b/c thats all they could get (you may want to blame that on Bowtech, but their relationship with Bowtech must be pretty poor); d) set every component of the bow up incorrectly: rest / center shot was way off, peep sight way off, draw length, an 1.5 SHORT!!!!!; arrows were the wrong length, wrong spine and over priced (we bought a dozen for nearly the same amount @ BassPro); draw stop was on the WRONG CAM (they didnt even catch this). Our experience was a nightmare. Avoid this place unless it is your last or ONLY resort.
Friendly personnel. Passionate instructors.
