STAY AWAY!!! MOVE ON AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM WASTING TIME!Got my first bike from these guys in the 80s and did the same with my son. The service is getting worse and worse from the actually service department to the parts guy. Today has made me officially done with them. I called and they had the parts I needed so I asked that they hold them at the front since I had a long drive.Anyway, I get there. The incompetent parts guy provided me the completely wrong parts. Simply a front sprocket for a Honda dirt bike...isnt that what you specialize in??? Hondas? I go next door to Sprocketz and pick up some riding boots for my son. About $300.00 bucks later I walk out with the wrong parts for my bike and TWO LEFT FOOT boots?!?!?!?! How does that even happen...Im awaiting a response from the store on how they would like to resolve this. Ill update the review if they call back.

Bought two helmets from the shop next door to their maintenance garage. When I was leaving I realized, to my horror, I had picked up a nail and was losing rear tire pressure in a hurry. I ran inside to ask if there was anything they could do to help. They originally told me I could leave it over night, but being that I live in DC and would be stranded, I asked if I could pay extra to just have them put on a new tire. The gentleman told me to go make sure the parts dept had the tire I would need and he would go ask the service manager. Sure enough, parts had a tire that I was going to purchase that would work, at least to get me home. Upon returning to the service garage with my tire, I was told they in fact couldnt do it that day. Or the next day. That in fact to change a tire would be, quote Several Weeks. Admittedly, Im not a customer of theirs, though I did spend $350 on helmets and was about to spend another $150 on a tire from them, not to mention any exorbitant fees and maintenance they were going to charge me to do it that day/next day. But to tell me its going to take SEVERAL WEEKS to CHANGE A TIRE?! Im not sure if they just didnt like me, or didnt like that I didnt buy from them, or just didnt like helping people, something just didnt sit right. I wont say steer clear, as the other reviews here seem to show a well run business, but I had to share this story. Karma always comes around. (Against my own rule, and only because I had no other option, I patched the tire myself at an Advance Auto down the street and cautiously made it home safe.)

I live in south Florida. I found an item at a great price online at Richmond Honda House that was not available anywhere in my area.(before Christmas!!) My parents happened to be traveling in that direction. I hit the text button on the website. I received a quick response from Andrew. He was so nice and helpful. He helped me so much. Just bought a Honda Rancher and the entire process was great. Roger took care of everything, setting up the machine, getting a winch installed and even loaded it in the bed of my pickup truck for me. Financing was a breeze and the rate was much lower than other places I had visited. When I went to pick up the atv it was already there on the sales floor with a full tank of gas and I was in and out in 15 minutes. I would recommend Roger and the Honda House team to anyone and they now have a customer for life!

I live in arizona and these guys followed thru just for the sake of loyalty and urgency. My sons all ride and my youngest was just taken out of his half body cast and my next ride was in honor of him. I went to the Honda house to look at a new 2018 Can-Am Spyder. The sales staff seem to be friendly and helpful. The issue that I had, they do not have a Can-Am Spyder demo that you can ride. They only had one Spyder in the showroom. So there was not much of a selection to look at. I think I will check out other dealers to see if theres more of a selection.

Im having to give up my company car and was looking to maybe switch to a bike since I dont drive a lot. Went in, a guy in a Hawaiian shirt was chatting with his buddy, about resale value of cars. After looking at all the prices and standing next to the bike I wanted to ask about, I waited for 15 mins (mind you I was the only other person in the store other than the guys friend), and only as I was about to leave he screamed at me CAN I HELP YOU BOSS? Im still shopping around, but I was very interested in the MT07 they had (which they get one extra star for great price), also I would need equipment which I dont like to buy online. Had they been nice they would have been at the top of my list to go back to. Alas my money will go somewhere else...

I am extremely happy with my purchase of a 2016 Honda CTX700D. The salesman, Roger was a big help in showing me the good points and not so good points in different types of motorcycles. I have not driven a motorcycle for about twenty years, and with Rogers help I picked a wonderful machine. I was not sure about an automatic transmission on a bike, but I really like it. The purchase price Roger gave me for the CTX700D bike was well over a thousand dollars less than the same bike at Commonwealth Motor Sports in Prince George. The options I ordered were installed at the stated price and the bike was ready for pickup at the time we set up. They were also very helpful with the accessories I purchased at the building next to their shop. The sales person helped us choose a helmet for my better half and I purchased a set of side saddles.Thanks again to Roger and Richmond Honda House.

Bought my first new bike in 17 years from this place and I am dead pleased. I paid cash (meaning there isnt as much profit as if I were to finance) but they still treated me with great customer service. All of my questions were answered and not once did they make me feel like I was bothering them. Ive bought accessories as well and the parts department is top notch as well. Their prices are very fair and are competitive with what you can buy online for. I wont be going anywhere else.

Pleasant help, less bikes than I am used to, except they have a whole second building filled with stuff for the younger gen. So great variety. Helmets on the pricey side but great selection and with the buy one get one promotion not badly priced. Parts dept didnt have what I needed but ordered the part and will be in within the week. At cheaper prices than I was expecting. So very happy I came back.

Tried to work through these folks even though they are 30 minutes away from us. Ordered two parts for my weed wacker, paid for them in advance. They called to let me know they were in so I dropped by this afternoon. One of the boxes was very light and upon inspection, it was empty...a first for me. Oh well, re-order and wait another 6 days for delivery. No possible way they could expedite nor could they drop ship, so another 30 minute drive both ways. I requested a refund which they did but no apology for the inconvenience, no offer to make it right. When I let them know that from a customers perspective this was not right, the parts manager said, and I quote, why should we apologize, it was lost in shipment. Its not our fault. From there he became more snarky so I called him a name that, although accurate, was inflammatory. He became more snarky to the point where it was uncomfortable to stay so...never again. 2 Honda motorcycles, a few Honda lawn items, etc. What a disaster of a business.

Just bought a new Grizzly EPS from the guys at Richmond Honda house.They were all friendly and easy to work with. I called the place and the sales manager Roger answered. He went over with me what they had in stock that I was looking for. I filled out the application online and about 30 minutes later Roger sent me the approval with my monthly payments. I wanted the winch with my purchase and Roger had guys at the shop get to work on it Immediately so that it would be ready for me to pick up the next day. I went to pick up my Grizzly and wasnt sure if I could make there before they closed. Roger told not worry he and the fiancé guy Jim would wait for me if I was late. I made it there before they closed and Roger loaded my Grizzly up on my truck, signed my paperwork and out the door I was. I would definitely do business with Richmond Honda house again. Ask for Roger when you go, he will take care of you.

I financed and purchased a Honda Recon, I enjoyed the atv, but the dealership salesperson and finance person completely lied about the financial contract. I discovered numerous hidden fees, which I am unfortunately paying for. It is apparent that these sorry excuses for human beings have no conscious and or not concerned about customer retention. I was planning on upgrading and buying another atv, but I am taking my business elsewhere and I would strongly not recommend this dealership to anybody that is in the market of buying. Giving this dealership one star is far to generous, I would not give them any stars if Google reviews allowed it.

We were not greeted at all, even when the employee with glasses red shirt didnt have other customers to greet didnt approach us. I called them to set up an appointment. They werent interested in that and wanted me to leave the bike with them for about a week. They were annoyed when I told them I wasnt going to just leave it with them for two hours of work. They looked up how long the work I wanted them to do would take and said it was an hour and a half to two hours. Instead of just scheduling what I told them I wanted done, they tried to tell me that none of the maintenance was done on the bike and they wanted to do lots more work, which I declined. Then they confirmed the time with a tech and said it was 5 to 6 hours and triple the price they originally said.I guess theres a reason they had plenty of availability in their service schedule. Dont take your bike here.

Bought a CTX700N DCT the whole staff was patient,knowledgeable and inviting. The finance associate was really thourogh,explained everything in detail and even found an insurance rate that was extremely cheaper than the one I was quoted by my insurance carrier. Both sales associates were really helpful and Roger extended additional help after hrs to help me get comfortable with all aspects of the motorcycle. With an 1hr ride ahead of me, Roger even texted me to make sure I made it home safe. My 1st true motorcycle buying experience was truly amazing! A great place to grab some riding gear! My father and I were down in Richmond and stopped to check out their helmets. We called first and they talked through helmet options with us, they had some deep discounts on some their helmets. More than half. I live in Fredericksburg and have been thinking (dreaming) about buying a Can Am Spyder for about a year now. As such, I have compared equipment and prices from Northern Va to Richmond. A couple of weeks ago, I texted Richmond Honda House about a new 2019 Can Am RT Limited. Without any prompting, Wes sent me an Out-The-Door price for the Spyder. Based on my research I found the price to be very, very competitive. I drove to Richmond to see the Spyder and was extremely impressed with Wes. He was well-versed in the machine and and did not pressure me to make a sale. I felt so comfortable with Wes, the price, and Honda House in general that I decided to do business there. I am so glad I did. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at Honda House of Richmond. No sleaze, no games, just straight talk and an honest deal. My only regret is that I had not done it sooner. The Spyder is fantastic, Wes is a straight-shooter and Honda House understands customer service. I highly recommend.

I would first like to say, when a Jet ski breaks down in the summer you know its going to take forever to get repaired. I would like to thank the guys at Honda House of Richmond for having a quality repair job done quickly. It was refreshing to have the mechanic come out and show me the broken part and someone to hook the Jet ski up to my truck. Overall experience was amazing thank you guys.

Service department gets 5 stars. But the parts department gets 0. Ive been there for carburetors to kick stands to ignition switches. ONE SCREW is all theyve ever had on hand. Everything is cheaper and ships faster online. Theyve lost $100s in possible income

While on a road trip, my Valkyrie threw a break pad and it jammed into the disk. Had it towed into Honda House and spent the night in a hotel. I met them at open, they were friendly and helpful. The weather was turning bad and I still had a few hundred miles to get home. They looked at my bike right away and had it fixed in no time. To my great surprise, they cleaned my caliper that had frozen and only charged me for an hour labor! I was ready to pay through the nose and expected to but they treated me so honestly!!! Awesome place, they earned my respect and would not hesitate to have them work on my bike again.

I have purchased several parts for my Yamaha WR 250 from this location. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.Yamaha recently did a recall on a part on the bike and the service department said they were backed up for three weeks. I asked if they could do it any sooner and they called me back within an hour asking me to drop the bike off that afternoon and they would have it repaired within 36 hours. Excellent service, would recommend them to anyone!
