You spend the big money for Lexus Quality, and then you end up having to replace all your interior panels because they literally melt, crack, and self destruct. I was such a fan until I bought my 09 IS250. Never again.EXPERIENCE WITH LEXUS OF RICHMOND:Every one needs to know and Be aware when you buy Lexus cars and services.I found out from online forums and groups that Lexus has extension warranty for sticky dashboard. i called Lexus of Richmond and gave them my VIN number. They called me after 6 hours and let me know that my car had warranty for sticky dashboard expires July 31,2021. They told me bring the car and we will take a picture of dashboard and sent to Lexus. I drove all way from Williamsburg to Richmond 50min to get there and They told me is not eligible because of REBUILT TITLE. This is not acceptable. I had a recall 2017 with this car and they fixed but that time they never told me this car is rebuilt title we cant not fix. When I provide them VIN number that time, they processed with this VIN number and was eligible AS YOU SEE ON THE PICTURES. Dashboard is sticky and needs to be replaced.Lexus has a campaign that replaced the dash and door panels that had this issue free of charge. Not sure why there would be any need to fix them by me at this point.Please look at the pictures and papers.

July 2019, I was told I needed a motor for my car. After going back and forth with the dealership I decided to go ahead with the repair. In total i spent 8,000.00. Thank GOD! it came with a 3 year warranty. Here we are year 2 and Im being told i need another motor! But here’s the kicker, I still have to pay close to 1600 dollars! I don’t feel it’s right, you would think Lexus would’ve done a better job of picking a motor! I could’ve gotten junk from a junk yard!

An Unbelievable Experience!!! This is my third LEXUS and my experience this time working with Rick Bernard was GREAT!!! I went to Lexus on just a “fact finding mission” one day and ended up with the best customer service possible! Rick gave me several suggestions and showed me several cars before I decided to purchase my “new” used car. Any time you purchase a car not from the original dealer they will always give you a list of things to fix, it happened when I had my BMW. However, Lexus is a dream car back from when I 1st knew about cars, therefore, I have to treat this car like a Million Dollars and make sure the work being done is #1. This location I heard about from close friends and family. They treat you like royalty. Tell you not only the bad but also the good and make you feel like youve done a good job by owning their product. They stand behind the work. Document and provide copies. Feed you and make sure you stay hydrated. The environment makes you feel like your in a star lounge and youre automatically at home and comfortable. Therefore, I recommend this location, brand and dealership for all your car buying and services needs. I will return and agree on their honesty and integrity. I put them to the test and they past. TOP NOTCH TEAM! I happened upon my dream car walking their lot, and was met by Robert Norton - he was open, honest, and informative from the start. And best of all, NOT the stereotypical car salesman of yesteryear - no pressure at all. He listened well, answered my questions with great patience, and went out of his way to ensure I had a fair price and that the car was in great condition before I drove it off the lot. He even invested time to show me all the pieces and parts of the car, and lent me a rental car while I was waiting for the car to be spruced up, as I had already sold my car to an online dealer. Excellent Service!!! I had Crystal Fusion reapplied to the windshield. The visit was excellent from the time we arrived until we left. After pulling into the service area, we were met at the car and directed to a comfortable waiting area. After a short wait, the service advisor called us to discuss our service. He made some quick notes, we signed and were seated again. We needed to review some technology features in the car, so the service advisor arranged for a follow-on appointment with technology after the car service was done. Katie (Technology) came to get us after the car was done and worked with us to reconfigure our cell phones to the car. We also had a short and pleasant visit with the salesman that sold us the car (David Mickens). I live in Hampton VA, but I prefer to come to Richmond because of the great service.

Yesterday was a wonderful day. Harry is our hero. We love our Lexus RX450H, and apparently Harry does to, he always takes such good care of it. The only place we go for service (aprox 50 miles). Weve always had our SUV serviced here and they always went above and beyond.. We wouldnt think twice about replacing our SUV with anything but a Lexus from Richmond Lexus. Taking my 5 stars back. I just got pulled for a bulb being out. I checked and Lexus NEVER fixed the bulbs! I paid 100s of dollars for light bulbs that were never installed. Yet Lexus claimed I needed those lights to pass inspection. They put the sticker on my car but didn’t fix the stuff I needed to pass. What else didnt they do that I paid for? I will be speaking with a manager tomorrow! Highly disappointed. I wouldn’t think a place like this would rob me and not even fix what I paid for.

Absolutely Amazing customer service, knowledge and support!!!!!!! THEY truly went above and beyond to help us when my husband and I were stranded on the side of the road in Richmond, VA, while driving our 2018 Lexus RX 350 from Florida to NJ. I called Lexus of Richmond to have the car towed there for service. They were fantastic! !!!! They sent a service rep. to pick us up, they brought us snacks and water ( a 30 minute drive) and drove us to the dealership while our car was being towed. They brought the car right in to the repair shop as soon as the vehicle arrived and the Service manager personally updated us frequently about our car. The service department called in experts to find the cause of the problem. The problem was an incorrectly installed part ( installed by JM Lexus) in South Florida. Lexus of Richmond fixed the problem and we were able to get safely to our destination in NJ and then back home to FLorida! Lexus of Richmond is brand new, everyone we spoke to was outstanding! I would highly recommend this deanship!!!!!

Our car broke down traveling through Virginia from Pennsylvania. The service department was very booked up but were able to look at the car the next day after it was towed there. Diagnosed and fixed the problem which was a serious one. They went out of their way to get our car up and running quickly since we were stuck in the area without a car. Would highly recommend them for servicing your Lexus.

As far as the service department goes there is much to be desired. I made an appointment a month in advance for my Lexus LS430 to get the park brake shoes replaced and state inspection. After they inspected the car they agreed it needed park brake shoes and they would have to order the part, it would be in tomorrow. Since i live 3 hours from this dealership i declined as i couldnt wait. That is the reason i made the appointment and described what work i wanted done. They charged me $400 to evaluate my park brake. I went home empty handed with my car returned to me in the exact way i gave it to them. Dont go here if you value your time, they wasted mine.

My experience with Lexus of Richmond is beyond 5 stars. The service team, especially Mike Garcia are AWESOME! I had them perform a diagnostic on my 2008 GS350 and was advised it needed a replacement engine as well as other repairs to pass state inspection. The repair costs far exceeded what my budget could handle. Mike Garcia went ABOVE and BEYOND as my service rep. Mike worked with me on repair costs and I was able to use a loaner car while my car was repaired. At times I was overwhelmed with the mounting repairs and costs. Mike showed empathy, patience and understanding during the entire repair process. I cant say THANK YOU enough to Mike Garcia! Thank you to the service manager and entire service department! The valet, the shop guys even the cashiers. Everyone was ALWAYS friendly and I was greeted with a smile each and every time. I can say I am a customer for life. For this being the only dealership in the area and so highly rated I’m pretty disappointed. I scheduled an oil change and an interior detail and was quoted $117 for the former and $125 for the latter. When I picked my car up my bill was $385 and the interior was very poorly detailed. The specific spot I had mentioned wanting cleaned hadn’t been touched and both dash displays had been skipped as well. No more dealership for me.

When you have your vehicle serviced and get the complimentary wash, be sure to check your floor mats. The last THREE times Ive had my vehicle in, the mats have not been secured, even though the Multi-Point Inspection Form says they have been checked. I notified them about this on the previous two occasions, but it is still not corrected. An unsecure floor mat could easily slide up on the gas pedal and cause havoc. Otherwise, todays service was fine.

I didn’t even buy my Lexus from them but it was still under Lexus warranty.. I bought my Lexus from hyman brothers less than 90 days they said it’s under bumper to bumper warranty for 90 days! It was the biggest lie ever I heard right after my parents said Santa is real !!! When I have a big problem with my car they said ohhhhh we don’t know read the paper work ???! (PS paper works said it’s under warranty) But after all that problems I deal with when I call the Lexus they were there for me %100!! Extremely professional and way better than my expectations!! We were looking to upgrade our RX 350 and found exactly what we were looking for at Lexus of Richmond. We were greeted as soon as we arrived by Rick Bernard, who provided us with excellent customer service throughout the experience. The thing that we especially liked was that Rick walked us through all of the updated electronics that were on the car. He knew how to use everything and explained it so that we could quickly grasp how to use the electronics. He was very professional, pleasant and helpful throughout. We also received a very fair price for the car that we traded. The experience took a little longer than we thought; we thought we would test drive the car, see what was offered for a trade-in on our 2009 RX and, if we agreed, write the check and leave. While it took longer than we thought, it was well worth the time to really go over the car to make sure that we understood all about it. It was a great experience from Rick, to the delightful business manager, to the pastries and brownies. Thanks Lexus of Richmond.

Ive only had various services done on my ES350 here but its definitely worth reviewing. The service department here is EXCELLENT. If you are ever questioning where you should take your Lexus....it would be these guys. Andy and Kyle are two advisors whom I have dealt with personally. Kyle really kept me in the loop with my vehicle from every installation or repair. I really value that and want to know what is going on with my car in a timely fashion. Andy was more recent (today). A nice gentleman who made sure that my car was looked at on short notice after a break down the night before. Even went out of his way to send someone to pick me up past normal times since I was stuck with no way to the dealership. Now that is what I call a grand customer service experience. I will continue to have my vehicle serviced here and hope that the great standard of service remains!

Sorry the gentleman had problems attracting attention, but Id would have as I have done in the past and walked right in and asked for him and told them I wanted to look at the Lexus. Everyone jumped up and Ray Higgins was the gentleman that helped me for years. I Leased a 1996, 98, 2001, and bought a 2008 from Pohanka Lexus and then leased a new 2016 Lexus and i love the Lexus car, it is fun to drive, great people to help me Lease a car as Ray Higgins did. So I believe you need to open the door, walk in and ask for help and they will help.

I returned to my Lexus dealer to find out about options with regard to leasing a new vehicle. I presently have a 250h under lease with Lexus. Carla walked me through the entire process, including trade-in options, leasing costs, and two different models of Lexus hybrids, complete with test drives. She listened carefully to what my priorities were and tailored her comments and information to meet them.Carla was flexible with her own time in order to meet my schedule and worked hard to craft a financial arrangement that represented a win-win situation for me and for Lexus. When I combined her thorough and client friendly approach with my past experiences with Lexus (two different cars) and with Lexus quality, reliability, and fantastic service, it became obvious that leasing again with Lexus was the right choice for me. When other people ask me about my Lexus, I always refer to quality, reliability, and service. Now when they ask me about my new CT 200h, Ill add in the high quality sales staff, specifically Carla.

If you want to get your car serviced at a place who genuinely cares about your needs, this is the place to go. I have scheduled the wrong services plenty of times, and even if its less work for them, they put me first. Have saved on plenty of unnecessary work. On top of that, you can always rely on a follow-up to your visit, even if you have some concerns!

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE! My wife and I recently visited this dealership with hopes of leaving with a new vehicle, but instead left feeling extremely disrespected. The Sales Manager has NO business dealing with the public and Lexus of Richmond should be ashamed of this poor representation of such a fine product.

Lexus Dealership are always professional and courteous. I also like that they offer snacks while you wait.....coffee/capp machine and desserts. The detail shop is excellent, my car was looking like glass when they were done.
