Capital Awning was excellent start to finish with our project, folks always got back to us in a timely fashion, even with COVID and supply chain challenges they were only a week or so later for install that we anticipated. The price of alumni went up between the time we went to the showroom and the sales person could get to our house and they honored the price they told us initially. Within a week of having the awning we had it fully open and an unexpected spot storm came in and caused it damage, Capital Awning was here in a day and fixed it. I cant say enough goo about working with the team.

I was so pleased to find Capitol Awning. This was the first time I had contacted this company. Our house has 11 fixed-frame awings covered with Sunbrella material. Three of these were torn during a January winter storm. I received quotes from two companies as there arent many awning companies that service my area. Capital was very competitive and their service was excellent. Their sales representative Burt Chauncey, came out at the scheduled time and I had his estimate in 48 hours. The new awnings were ready almost two weeks before the promised date and installation was done professionally. Ken and Payton did an excellent installation and were finished in half the allotted time. I would recommend Capital Awning to anyone needing repairs or replacement.

Capital Awning has be great to work with as it did excellent work on constructing our awnings frames, covering them with excellent fabric and years later recovering them because of weather wear. They informed us when the insulation was to be done and we did not need to be present when the work was done - outside. Staff courteous and helpful.

They allowed me to pay in 2 installments. The finished product is made of solid sun setter material and welded light weight metal frame! Love my dry landing.

This company was great to work with, from start to finish. We had a small front porch awning to replace. Capitol Awnings price was more than $ 200.00 less than the other local awning company quote we were given. Once we decided to go with Capitol Awning, they dropped off a huge sample fabric book, which they let us keep over the weekend. We placed our order the following Monday morning, and the new porch awning was ready in 11 days. It was installed exactly 2 weeks from the day it was ordered! We had a unique request for a canopy but they were able to give us exactly what we wanted and the final product looked just like the rendering picture they provided. The installation was quick and the guys were very nice and arrived on time. Would highly recommend.

Scheduled a service call and the service techs showed up on time and were super nice, however, they were not told about the problem before they came out so they didn’t have the part (they said they could have fixed had they were told the issue). They said someone would call me with a quote for the part and for coming out to fix the issue. Two weeks passed and no phone call. So I called and they apologized and said someone would call. A week later, no call. I called again, and again they apologized and said someone would call. A week later no call. I called again and was told the same thing. Never received a call. Not a recommended company if you would like to get anything done.

Second time to purchase awnings. First time was twenty years ago and the awnings needed replacement, great longevity! Phone system needs better method to reach correct personnel, ie an option to reach a real person other than-- if you know the party to whom you wish to speak,-or to reach a certain dept. press that number now. You know who is in each dept--we dont!

This company gives excellent service! As an example, today (Saturday) we could not get the remote control to work. We replaced the battery and it still did not work. We had several phone conversations with Bill at the office who helped us trouble shoot the problem. It became apparent it was an electrical problem we could not fix. All the external receptacles on the house were dead. Bill offered to come by the house after he got off work. He identified and corrected the problem within 30 minutes and said it was “no charge.” This is truly above and beyond 5 stars!
