Tap release was broke when I picked up. Brought tap back, they said I broke it, no deposit refund. Don’t like being called a liar. Won’t be back. Be careful with them.Saw your reply, guess that makes you feel like you’re right. The simple fact is your tap fell apart when I placed it in the truck, but since we were hosting 80 people in colonial heights we did not have time to call you. The best possible customer service would be to believe the customer and refund the deposit. You did not do that. Your employee said she checked it when it went out, either she’s bad at checking taps or she didn’t check it. It’s not the money, I don’t appreciate being called a liar.

Im not one to go online to leave reviews often. Usually I only do it when I see exemplary service that deserves to be recognized. Joey at Corks and Kegs epitomizes the definition of customer service. He has gone above and beyond what I would expect in making sure the wine taps in my offices keep flowing(and my employees and agents happy).Beyond Joeys customer service skills, I love the selection of wines and hard to find craft brews C&K keeps in stock. There are other places you can go to buy wine and beer but if a heightened level of service is what you are looking for, I recommend Corks and Kegs.

Really a great experience! Great selection and the gentleman working had an informed answer and personal opinion for every item we asked about. Most certainly worth a couple bucks extra to have great service, great selections and learn something new in the process.

Ive been big into craft beer for quite a few years, so I mean it when I say that Corks and Kegs is easily the best bottle shop Ive come across in the city (and maybe ever?). Keep up the great work guys, you know your stuff and also have very cute puppies.

I visited Corks & Kegs for the first time a few weeks ago. Man, I have no idea how I missed this hidden gem all of these years!!! The young lady behind the counter came from behind that counter and proceeded to make various recommendations based off of my likes in a beer. I didnt get her name but I wish I did because she was spot on with the BenchTop Mordreds Void! Ill definitely be back in the next couple of days and Im excited to see what Ill discover next.

It’s worth the extra drive to go to The Wink on Nuckols Rd in Glen Allen over this place any day for beer. Corks and Kegs is an unorganized jumble of beer that took me 5 minutes to realize any sort of way to look through the piles and aisles. There was a yapping dog in a kennel towards the back aisles of the store that echoed the entire time. After a long day of work, in a mask, hot outside.. I couldn’t take the dog on top of it all. Waste of time.

You really cant ask for a better place than Corks & Kegs. Their selection is broad and diverse. Let me tell you why it will now be my exclusive go-to shop for finding wine and beer in the Richmond area:Yesterday I was passing through Richmond and wanted to try to find two bottles of beer that were one-time-only runs in a series of brews from one of my favorite craft breweries. I recently moved to a state where this brewery doesnt have distribution, and every other store I had called while traveling through other towns in the past weeks said they ran out of stock on those beers weeks ago. My only hope was that there were still a few bottles in stock somewhere in Richmond. I called Corks & Kegs and spoke with Marsh, who regretfully informed me that the beers I was looking for were long gone, and that they had been hard to come by in the first place given their limited run. A few minutes later, I received a call back. Marsh told me he found a couple bottles of the beers I was looking for, and that I could have them if I came by the store right away. I stopped in and, sure enough, he had one bottle of each of the beers I was looking for. I offered to pay, and would have gladly done so, but he insisted that I take them as a gift. I was blown away by his kindness and concern that I be able to find what I was looking for even when it appeared all hope was lost. Ive never gotten service on that level in the past, and dont think Ill ever find it again. Needless to say, Ill be returning to the store every time Im back in Richmond.

Beware of the establishment because some of the people working there dont know about wine and give the wrong recommendations. I asked for a particular sweet wine, they didnt have what I was looking for so they recommended something that they claim was similar but it was not even close nor was it even sweet. What a waste of money and the GM act like he didnt even care that I wasnt happy with the wine, I will never return to this poor excuse of a shop they have.

Incredible selection and friendly staff. They have shelves upon shelves of wine and beer and its one of the few places to get a decent bottle of mead. Prices are fair and everything is organised well.

Best selection in RVA? well, no, that would be Total Wine. Corks & kegs is definitely worth a stop. They also do, you guessed it, keg rentals, so thats a big selling point. Im gluten free and there is very cool stuff here.
