I bought new car in 2008 and began looking for a place to get the windows tinted. I decided to take the car to Accessories Unlimited. I really didnt know anything about the place but the price seemed fair. The work was professionally done and I was pleased with the results. Now fast forward to January 2016. The car has 156000 miles, a few more scratches, has started to become mechanically unsound, and I am ready to trade - but the window tint, absolutely perfect. No bubbles, no peeling, no nothing. I dont know if this place still supports the same quality level of work, but I recommend checking out this place.

Does a lot of great work for us here at Gates Honda. If you are a dealership or just needed some tint and accessories go see Rob at Accessories Unlimited.

Rude on the phone. Priced higher than other places and wanted to make me wait 2 weeks to get in. Other places were cheaper and faster and apparently better quality. Im leaving this review because they sassed me out for calling back and called me Dude on the phone. Very unprofessional.

If you want to waste your money on a tint job take it here. Rob is a rude individual and a flat out liar. He scheduled an appointment with me personally to come look at the poor job he did on ALL my windows. They have all developed bubbles and it hasnt even been a month since he tinted them. He had to redo 2 of my windows already and did a poor job with the re-tint. He then proceeded to not show up or call me and then denied ever setting up an appointment with the dealership where I purchased my vehicle. DO NOT GO HERE.You have been warned.

About 3 1/2 months ago I Googled tint places in Richmond. I called 3/4 places and Accessories was the only places that could get me in THAT DAY. I wanted them done that day, and didnt want to wait. The tent on the front doors looked near perfect. The sun strip on the front wasnt cut right, but it didnt have bubbles in it....so I wasnt to picky because it wasnt nothing noticeable only if pointed out (from the inside). The back 2 doors had bubbles in them, even after the 3 days of not rolling the windows down. I took it to him that following week after I let it dry even past the 3 days before I had taken it back. He looked at it, and said omg, how did MY work get lint in it ?......He said I will replace that. Give it about 2 weeks to basically make sure it dries and theres no other issues. I called him back he wanted me to come the week I called but on a day that I wasnt able to due to my job. I told him the following week worked better. He said okay, had a friend follow me from work and take the car down there. I dropped It off at 8:30am, picked it up at 4:15ish.....walked into his shop. NOTHING had even been touched on the car. A wasted trip, gas, and time off work. His reason of not doing the tint, was because apparently someone prior to me owning my car had welded, or grinded beside my back 2 windows and caused burns, and cuts in the glass. He wanted to replace the glass for $60 I told him I wanted to talk to my fiancée about it. We then decided no, because the latches may break on the door and all the issues that can come into place when taking them off and on. I called him and told him I didnt want the glass replaced. He said that was fine. The following Monday he came and picked my car up at work. He replaced the tint, cost me nothing...because it has a life time warranty as long as the car is in my name. He double tints the window, using a clear piece of tint then the dark. Turned out Perfect! BUT......he screwed up my door locks. The first time he tinted by windows, AFTER words I noticed by locks would slam down and look louder and harder. Never paid much attention to it, I honestly thought just ware, and tare. After the 2nd time of tinting my windows it really got worse. I never noticed it until about a month later when I locked my doors I came out from work and pulled on my doors when out actually un-locking them it sounded my alarm. Then I noticed the locks were jacked up. Got to the point it locked me out of my car. Had to keep locking, and unlocking it to FINALLY get it unlocked. It started running my battery dead because when you had to manually lock the door it would keep clicking about 10-15 times after you locked the doors. I called him and explained to him the issues. His response was why are you calling me now. The tint looks great, but just be careful who you let work on your car. They usually end up screwing it!
