This was my first time going to a tint shop but they were great. They finished in under a few hours and the tint still looks good a year later. I went for the mid-range price and I was not disappointed.

I passed by accident and it was too hot, so I stopped and asked for a quote to my surprise they were running a special 2 fronf windows for $79. I own a Mercedes and the 2 front windows were clear. They are very friendly, very professional and for that price it was very well worth it.

I have had the worst time ever at the one on Brook rd .in richmond virginia...I took me vehicle there for music installe..they told me it,took one full day to install my music..my vehicle was there for 3 days, so I had no transportation to work,I was lied to repeatedly about times my vehicle would be ready..so finally after 3 day with out my vehicle finally I go pick it up late at night..once there I was told that the new speaker was hooked up to my factory Amp which may blow because of the speaker being to strong but we gone see..I cant believe as a professional you would do this ...it didnt sound like I thought it would sound..but anyway after 2 weeks of listening to it my my door speakers stop working...so I took it back and was told the Amp blew..So I was given a new amp..So once a again they tell me my vehicle will only be there over night so they could replace my amp,ended up there again for three nights, I miss work and all because of this...the third day I called, I was told it a be finished different times..so I finally go up there at 12 at night ..the guy was still working on my vehicle while drinking beer ..when asked how much more longer he told me a few more hours..I was very mad so I left,I had to go to work that morning at 500 am...So now the 4th day I was very upset because I dont have my vehicle ...So after work I called up there thinking it should be ready and thats when the manager tells me the guy that was working on it cut my wire to my air bag which came out my passenger window 😡😡😡....So now my vehicle is at the dealership getting fixed and they was paying for it...so now I been with out my vehicle going on 3 weeks and now its time to pay for it,its hard to reach him...I have called and text his phone with no response...you wouldnt understand how mad I am right now...Im try my best to be positive about it all but my positive thinking is running short...A oh yeah they even broke my mirror on my drivers side.....I really need to talk to the owner...

Well I was quoted a Black Friday special. I was having conversation with the owner I believe....Randal. I asked several times about bringing my car in and had no response so I just called. The person that answered the phone I said I was quoted a special price and wanted to bring my car in and he said to bring it Saturday. I was there before the actual time and when he asked me if I was quoted a price I said yes 125. He said that was the Black Friday price and I said yes but when I called to make arrangements to bring my car in they said bring it Saturday. He went and got Randal and He smiled and said that was Black Friday price, sorry.....I was told it would take approximately 2 hours. I called back in 2 hours and was told it wasnt going to be ready for another 2 hours. I was baffled wondering why I had an appointment...The response I got was because they were busy. And I was already unhappy because I had to pay full price. Dont get me wrong the tint looks nice but if I hadnt drove an hour to get there and spend all day in Southside I would have just took my car somewhere else.

Black Optix tinted my old Camry beautifully and legally. I never had any problems with bubbling or peeling or fading to even have to use the warranty but it was great to have anyways. They also installed the remote start and it was super handy to have in the cold and hot weather. My boyfriend used them to tint his new truck windows a few months ago and has had no problems as well and it keeps the vehicle so much cooler. I plan to get my new vehicle tinted with them as well!

I’ve had 20 cars tinted at seven shops across the country in the last 10 years. This place does the worst work I have ever seen. I had my windshield done today on my Audi RS3 and after getting home, found long scratches in the tint, bubbles with sediment under them, and fingerprints everywhere. It was lifting at the edges. It took two hours for an absolute hack job.The person who paid for tint right before me also had to have it redone; I was hoping for good luck hearing that while waiting for my car.I literally drove back an hour later, got a refund, and removed the tint in their parking lot myself. It was literally such a hack job, I took it off AFTER it would have been free.

Great tint work. When the job is complete make sure you walk around with the staff and make sure all the bubbles and seams arent visible. They are more than happy to get a tech out there to make sure you leave happy. They also guarantee the work so if you see something later they will take care of it for you.

Good explanation of what they offer as far as car window tint. I was a walk in and was taken care of in 2.5 hours. So far the Window tin on my Honda Civic EX 4 door looks very nice and I am very pleased. We will see how it does over the next few days, bubbles etc. Regardless, Optix Tint offers a 3 year warranty! I will be sire to update.

This is my go to place for pretty much everything for my vehicle as far as customizing. Got my windows tinted by them some years ago on my explorer and two twelves hooked up and an amp. I called ahead and was given great pricing to have my 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Tinted. It took about 2 hrs to complete and looks amazing, upon leaving there was a noticible difference in the feel and look of the car. I ended up going with the extreme ceramic tint, 35% on the front 2 windows and 20% on the back. Great staff would highly recomend.

Did an excellent job on my tint on my new tundra. Got all windows done including a front windshield band. Priority rejected the front windshield band when I brought it in for inspection which was absolutely ridiculous. Took it back and they took care of quickly and for next to nothing. Great customer service and quality to tinting.

I have been getting work done at this location for many years. Auto starts, window tinting, pin strips and most recently fog lights that involved replacing the front bumper. I purchased my rims and low profile tires from Black Optix and I get compliments on my wheels every time I park my car and some times when Im sitting at a stop light. I love my new rims! Use to get good service here but left the car for almost 4 hrs no tint done and the radio wasnt installed. Will have to find a new tint spot. Such a shame because under previous owner or employees Ive had at least 5 cars at this shop

I always do my homework before I buy something. I contacted Audio Express and some other big companies around Richmond. All I wanted to do is to install a amplifier on my boat that my wife gave me for Christmas and both companies gave some outrageous price and started blowing smoke on the phone. I contacted Black Optix Window and he gave a good price right away without any hassles. They did a wonderful job and the sound is amazing on Lake Anne. I went to Black Optix Tinting today to tint my 2015 Altima. I wanted a tint to keep the heat out, protect the interior, and add some style. These guys never fail me... Three cars already tinted from here within the past year; I drive 30 minutes to their location just for their Excellent Customer Service. Had a remote start that was giving me trouble. The owner replaced it free of charge! Theyve earned a customer for Life.. They have a location in Myrtle beach too, one of the owners is usually down there.I would advise you to call in before you buy any coupon online, better deals in store. Also make it to your appointment on time and call ahead because they get busy quick !

Went by during their soft opening for a special on tinting for my VW. Did 20% tinting all around. Its been a week and so far they look amazing. The edges look good and no bubbles from dust spots. Mickey was super helpful in helping me decide on which brand I should go with. So awesome to have cool new tint shop here in Mt. Pleasant.

Donnie the manager did an excellent job in helping me resolve my Groupon issue. The store was clean and they did an awesome job tinting my 2003 Toyota Camry. I got some headlights here and I am very pleased with the time it took to install, and that I was aware of all possible options. Definitely go for the HID kits over LEDs, but they can do almost everything. Only problem I had was that I was told the lights would be installed a certain day, and it ended up being a day late.

I brought a set of precut lamin-x tail light tint overlays to Black Optix to apply. I could have done them myself but figured that I would take it to the professionals to make sure that it was done correctly. After installation, they were all cut up, bubbling, and not covering large portions of the tail lights (see pictures.) They assured me to wait a couple of days for it to settle and it would start to look better. After a couple of days it started to look even worse. I went back to the shop to correct and they started wrapping a portion of the tail lights with their own tint material which was scratched up and had holes in it. I told them not to continue. I went up the street and purchased a spray tint from a local auto parts store. The manager who was there sprayed the tail lights with the spray quickly and told me they would refund my money for the tint. I preferred the look of the actual lamin-x tint but made do with the spray tint. When I spoke to the owner on the phone he became combative and tried to deny a refund. After I said I would dispute the charge with the credit card company, he then agreed to refund half of the price. They also sneakily charged me an additional fee to use a credit card and charged me for “shop materials” the first time even though I used my own tint. I had my windows tinted by them too and they’re already bubbling up. When I was there last, someone was also there getting their rear tinted window fixed that was peeling shortly after them installing as well. These guys don’t seem to have the experience necessary to do this kind of work. I’m trying to save others from going through the kind of hassle that I went through.

I had a really bad experience at the black optix tint on midlothian turnpike I have been back and forth up there for them to fix my tint that continues to have bubbles in it the owner keeps giving me alot of excuses as to why the bubbles keep coming back from it being cold to the gasket on the window to dirty windows he has redone it every time I went but I live about 45 minutes away from this place and dont have time to keep running back up here 5 times for the same issue if you go here be prepared to go back because your tint probably wont be right avoid this place

I had a Pioneer NEX radio with backup camera and apple play installed on my 04 explorer sounds great. I also got window tint which only took about 30 min. The manager treated me like a valuable customer . Overall happy to support local businesses and will be going again for window tinting and tires ON MY husbands car next! They are awesome!😀😀😀

Friendly atmosphere, wonderful customer service. Took a little longer than I expected, but the shop manager remembered I said I had homework to do and encouraged me to get my work done so it was ok. The only problem I had was, I had just gotten my car detailed for an event I was going to in a few hours and for whatever reason, they sprayed my car down BUT DIDNT DRY IT so I had ugly water spots all over my freshly waxed car that I had to wipe down when I got home. Made the fresh tint job not look so hot after the water dried on it. After the wipe down tho, my 2011 Buick Lacrosse looked straight out of the brochure! Good job guys!Oh, I forgot to mention, they price matched another quote I got and upgraded me to the carbon film (think thats what it was called.

These guys responded to my email quickly and answered my questions about my tint. I went with the Extreme Optics because it blocks out most of the heat and UV Rays. Im going back soon to get my Sunroof done as well. The guys told me my tint would bubble up and it did then it went away like they said. Awesome work and friendly. 10/10. I can honestly say the owner has always taken care of me and even when hes not there the staff always took care of my needs. Maybe not at this location but I can honestly say Ive Been doing business with this company since I was able to drive (about 8 years at the original location) Probably taken 5+ cars here for anything to stereo, tint- HIDs remote start. If I ever had an issue with the quality of work they stop at nothing until Im 100% satisfied. No questions asked, do business with these guys!
