I had problems with my phone. I walked in the store and a tech named Danielle walked right up to me and greated with a smile and asked if she could help me. I explained what was wrong and she fixed it right away. Shes wonderful and knew exactly how to fix my phone. She has great customer service skills and phone knowledge. I had a great experience at this store. Danielle made my experience wonderful and quickly fixed my problem.no waiting!!!!!!
The worst!!!They never have enough people to help you. Wait, wait, wait. 45 min to 2hours. I made an 11 am appointment and get there. Im not in the system. So they tell me I can wait 45 min or make a 2:00 appointment. If I wanted that one I would have made it the day before. This Verizon store is the WORST !!!!!!!!!
Great Service! Justin was especially helpful and ensured that me as well as my entire family were able to get the items we required. Justin certainly went above and beyond to help us out as we transitioned from our Android phones to iPhones and I am so grateful. Will definitely come again when I need a new device!

I came in this morning and was having a lot of phone issues. I had to return a second time this afternoon and It was then that Sydney helped me. She was polite and professional as I was very upset I had to return. She managed to fix my issue completely and stayed past her shift to make sure my problem was resolved. I would give them 5 stars if it werent for my frustrating experience with one of her co-workers this morning. Thanks Sydney!

I am not a fan of Verizon, I find the company incredibly hard to deal with. But I visited the corporate store on Broad today and Danielle was very helpful trying to solve my problem.. She sort of restored my faith in Verizon.
It is been 5 day a sample issue has not been solved they are just waists time absolutely do not recommend this place. This store need professional staff.
Just went to pay my bill. Now you can go to a machine and key everything in. Much quicker. Of course they still have employees to help you if needed.
This place has gone downhill. Used to come here for phone issues or upgrades and now it isnt worth it. I walked in and guests were being helped, and the men at the front desk noticed me. I have no problem waiting my turn, and wasnt in a hurry. Then two different people walked in after me, and they were talked to first and placed in the queue. So I continued to wait and then finally was asked my information and why I was there. Then the other people were helped and I just kind of stood there. Then I walked out, it will be just as easy to handle my order online and not have to deal with this store anymore.

The store was clean, and the representative, (Justin), was nice, patient, and took time to explain to me about certain phones, and certain terms that I didnt know about. I appreciate the way he interacted with me, and that he didnt make me feel that I was a bothersome customer.

Waited Waited and waited after making an appointment. 6 people waiting and 1 person serving customers. Walked out after 20 minutes, only to find picnic table of employees out back enjoying lunch. Staggering lunch breaks on Saturdays would be appreciated.

Came in the store ready to purchase my new phone after much research. I had an appointment and was on time. There were 2 other customers in the store at the time and was given a salesperson immediately. I explained to Cory I was ready to purchase a phone but had a few questions. Suffice to say he was is the worst Verizon rep I have ever spoken with and he was not helpful. He went as far as to say he had no “magical machine” that would transfer my information to a new phone. My old phone was acting up and wouldn’t update. After attempting to redirect several times I told him I would take my business elsewhere and to have a good evening. I visited authorized retailer the next day and they helped with everything and got my $1000 purchase.This location better step up their game or risk being out of business.
Its Verizon... Ive had an experience of a lifetime. Brought my own unlocked phone to finish a number port I started on line, mistake number one. As Im sure most people have had an experience with customer service at a Verizon before and let me tell you all the problems you may have had getting through to someone, being transferred a million times (a little exaggeration...652,000 maybe) to yet another wrong department that cant help you then getting someone that can help only to be disconnected, well, where Im going with this is that it all happens to the store (corporate) employees too. I feel bad for them since they have to do it all day. Anyway, my 5 STAR rating is for the store manager, Josh, he was FANTASTIC! VERIZON by itself, 2.5 stars. Well see how transferring to this company does in a few months, hopefully not mistake number 2. By the way, you dont get 5g on pre pay accounts, you have to spend double for that with a contract of course. They got you by the b..ls. Oh yeah, the store was clean and nice with plenty of parking.
This was hands down one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a Phone provider service store. My family and I came in to switch from Sprint to Verizon because we always had inconsistent bills for no reason and very poor, spotty coverage. We came in and spoke to NIKISA EDWARDS and she may a lot of promises and assured us our bill would be set to a certain amount. The very next day we get a message from Verizon saying our bill will not only be DOUBLE but also the promises she made about our phone agreement were all lies! We then spoke to a Verizon customer service rep via phone and he was shocked at how many lies we were told and could see that she (Nikisa Edward’s) had put contradictory statements in our account, purposely charged us more and made false claims. We then go into the store to be met with a rude and unhelpful associate named EVAN. We then had to call the customer service number again to help us work things out because the people in the store were PURPOSELY unhelpful and rude. They scam people out of money with lies. Please don’t fall for it! Also the manager refused to come out of her office and assist us in anyway. Terrible way to introduce new customers to your business.
Wait 3 hours the issue still not solved
This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had in a phone provider store. I dealt with an associate named Nikisa Edward’s who assured me a certain price for monthly bill as well as a discount due to me being a teacher. The very next day I received an email informing me that not only was my bill going to be double what Mrs. Edward’s put in WRITING but also that the discounts were improperly put in and unusable. I then had to return to the store and was met by yet another rude and unhelpful associate named Evan. He raised his voice to me when I voiced my concerns and refused to get his manager. Whom was avoiding coming out from the back room to help me. I wound up calling customer service in the store to get someone on thee phone to correct what these people had done. The customer service rep was shocked at how many mistakes he found on my account. Terrible experiences! And all though I do not know the managers name she spoke volumes to me by doing her best to stay out of it and not help.

Worst experience Ive ever had at a Verizon store. I sat for three hours just to be told to come back another time. Went to another location and received excellent care and service. I would never recommend this location and staff.
These days it seems that it is a lot more difficult for them to provide the high quality service that I enjoyed our the time before Covid-19.

To make a long story short, my boyfriend and I were being added to my parents phone plan and everything you could imagine and more went totally wrong! Thankfully Rockey was there to help us and did everything she could to make sure we had phones while our numbers were being ported over to Verizon. She even stayed way past close to help us out. Josh also stayed with her so she wasn’t there alone. I definitely recommend these two representatives. We were so blessed to get people that were so kind and helpful. Way to go Rockey!!
No complaints at this point.I wanted to walk in, get a new phone, have it set up, and walk out using it. I accomplished that.I would encourage others, though, to research new phone choices before going in. Also remember to fully charge the new phone before using it. (They didnt tell me that.)Employees were fairly nice and patient.
Waited almost 30 minutes just to be told that after being with Verizon for about 20 years, my upgrade discount only gave me about $200 off a new $1000 iphone. I guess they could tell my phone was dying and knew I needed one soon. I called Best Buy from the store and got the same exact phone for $699. Pretty sad.
The phone upgrade process last week was hands down the best customer service Ive seen at retail. It was complicated, because of the buy one/get one free promotion. Justin worked with his manager to figure out the best deal for my wife and me, helped us transition our phones, and truly cared for our satisfaction.
I always get excellent service at this or any Verizon store. They were very helpful with whatever my situation is or was. I have been a Verizon customer for over 20 years
Went there to get phone upgrade and extend contract. Complete waste of time. Not only I wasted an hour and a half of my time but i did not accomplish what i came for. Selected phone was in the store but they were not able to figure out how to make a transaction work so they have to ship it through fedex. So instead of walking out with the phone i have to wait few days, be at home whenever they show up (otherwise it will go back to some facility) and be without phone in meantime. Great example of how not to run business and make experience terrible.
I ordered a new phone online and went in here to pick it up. Very fast service and they answered all my questions about activating online and how to use the new iPhone without a home button. Even showed me a few things I didn’t ask about but he thought I would find useful.
Top notch service even though I was getting only a screen protector. Every time been there is the same great service.
This location is listed as an authorized payment location for Verizon internet. I called before I even went up there. The kiosk wouldnt process my payment after multiple attempts. One of the representatives tried to help me. She didnt understand why it wouldnt take it either. She asked another representative in the store. She was told that because it was a corporate Verizon they didnt process internet payments. She referred me to another location clear across town. I called Verizon as I left the store. CSR said she did not understand why the kiosk didnt work. It should have and it should have accepted an Internet payment. Thank God she was able to work with me.
Spoke will manager Lauren about long wait, she was very unfazed about my concerns. Customer service in terms of wait time needs to improve. Employees were very nice. I honestly believe it derives from corporate cutting hours.
Friendly staff
They can do just about anything here without the BS of a reseller. That said, the wait times are hit or miss. No prioritization between people who are too inept to install their own screen protectors and business account people trying to add lines & devices. Very frustrating.
Luis is the man you want to talk to. He kept me updated on my wait time (because the store was super busy). Despite my total time in store, from start to finish, being 2 hours, Luis kept things moving for me. He has able to assist multiple customers at the same time. Luis made my experience excellent.

Parker who helped me with my purchase was awesome and very helpful. I went with one dead phone and returned with two working phones. I was very impressed with his selfless, yet very smart salesmanship. He was patient and professional. Great job, Parker.
Guy that waited on us acted like he would rather be anywhere but work. Leaned on the counter the whole time, mumbled looking down instead of speaking directly to us so we could understand him, but he was friendly at least. I asked a worker behind the counter about a phone and a customer answered my question because dude behind the counter was just looking at me.if you guys dont want the job, I am sure there are plenty others who would take it!
Good selection of cell phones. They all expensive now. Ask for promos. Monthly fee can be high if you get the newest model. Look online for specials. Some sales are only for online and some only for the store. Small parking lot. Not well lit either.
I know I need a new phone. Sales associate was not pushy fixed my phone and let go. Ill be back because of that.
Flawless experience
The general manager here flipped a potentially customer-relationship-ending mess up into a huge positive. And even through the frustration lead up to speaking with her, the rest of the employees there we super-patient and professional with my obvious frustration and rising anger (I was fairly hungry at the moment too...so h-anger). I like this Verizon its one of their corporate storesI did go in there to look for a secondary phoneI was only showing the most expensive fines they had when I explained to him I just needed a smaller than expensive secondary phoneTo no avail I was told this phone was the only one I could get witch which was $24 for 24 monthsHad to find out on myself that Androids are sold at this location for $168 no contract signed which fit my needs for what I was describing to the sales person perfectly.Kind of makes me not want to trust Verizon or the cell phone companies anymore.I dont think that the person that was doing this and thought about this on there and they were told to do it.

Yes, 5 stars. Ordered a phone online for in store pickup. A greeter checked me in as I walked in the door by asking my name only, then as we browsed a store representative came by with our purchases in a bag, all ready to go. No pushy sales pitch for anything else.

We had to wait forever for someone to help us even though there were salespeople standing around looking at their tablets. We came on a Tuesday morning and customer service was poor even though the place was not crowded. It doesnt matter when you come, the service is slow. If Verizon wants to be the number one wireless service, then they need to step up their customer service.
Yesterday I went to store with my unopened new series 4 Apple Watch that I purchased elsewhere and my own iPhone 7 with Straight Talk service. I left an hour later with my phone number transferred and working on my new iPhone X and Apple Watch. I received generous discounts for my trade-in, case & shield bundle, and for having military family and FIOS service. Jonathan explained everything in detail, showing me options and charges. The whole team there worked together, helping me and the many other customers in the store. Due to some bad reviews I read here, I was reluctant going in but came out singing (with 6 months free Apple Music backing me up.) 👍👍

Lacking by slackers...Lots of greetings and smiles when walking in...then, nothing of substance! Is all about rushing you through a maze of directives, jokes, employee gossip, no product explanation and getting a signature on the electronic input device... My best guess, this treatment is to be expected in an hybrid-monopoly environment and is a Verizon company culture, therefore would expect no more or less at another location.

This was by far the worst visit ever and Ive been to this store many times! The guy a.k.a Turtle Man was extremely slow and didnt even ask if we Still wanted the same color phone that we were exchanging so came out with nothing after 20 mins to say he only had black which was fine so he disappeared again for 15 mins even though he already knew where it was from his previous trip. Then rather than assist with the transferring of the info from his old phone just walked away and wasnt even able to help put the screen protector on so we were told the person who can do it just left so well have to come back. Absolutely insane service.
I went in with an issue on my phone that I didnt understand, which isnt unusual for me, because there are a lot of things I dont understand. I was greeted with courtesy and professionalism and Jonathan resolved my problem in short order. Great store and atmosphere.
Went to get a nano SIM for a new phone. Twice to two different locations. Both time had to b wait for over half hour. Second time told my phone would not work on their network. Understandable, my mistake.Went to Sprint. Their price was less than half what I had been paying for five years, significantly more data, and the guy started helping me in less than five minutes. Switched to.Sprint.
I do most of my Verizon shopping here and a lot of the peoplle here are quite friendly. The only time that I felt uneasy is when I purchased my latest device, they tried to sell me a kit with a wireless charger in it and when I declined, they let me know that Samsung was giving part of that kit away for free. I hope that didnt happen before and I got duped. Every other experience here has been great.

Yes got everything I wanted at Verizon seems like they want you to work with you online stores if you ask for help on your phone they do try to help you although they also recommend you call the online people that work in the Verizon online

Slowest service Ive ever received at ANY retail store. Took HOURS to simply trade in an old phone for a new one. Then, after being there for hours, still waiting, the rep starts texting his wife, telling me about their dinner plans. Well, I had plans to eat dinner at some point too, but the store is closed, and I still dont have my phone. This is PATHETIC and your reps are incredibly disrespectful of your customers time.
They are very friendly staff and helpful with all of your Mobil phone needs.They also have free work shops that you can sign up for and learn how to use all of the features of your Mobil phone.
We recently switched to Sprint and went in to this Verizon store get our final bill. We had been overcharged for an extra month of data and tablet service. They told me that I could only handle the credit on the 1-800 number over the phone. After getting hung up on, my sales person took over and called for me, until HE got hung up on. Basically he and the manager working went out of their way to fix our situation and get us reimbursed. Best experience I have ever had in a Verizon store, will probably be switching back based on our poor phone service in our area and the respect we were shown in getting our final bill.Ask for Brad.

This is the new worst Verizon store in Richmond. My wife and I went there with two very simple phone issues. One android phone had a failing microphone. The rep that helped us said to reset the phone, and then began to leave to table that she was helping us at. When we asked her to wait to see if that was going to work or not, she said that she would not stay to babysit us. Ive never experienced such bad customer service in my life. We will never return to this location, and will not be renewing our contracts with Verizon.
