POD Market is one of the only ways to obtain snacks through the mandatory freshman meal plan. They know this, and will charge you as much as possible—even for small snacks. Youre forced to spend $150–300 in dining dollars every semester anyway, so a $5 bag of chips wont hurt, right? Wrong. Only blow dining dollars here if you need to get rid of them at the end of a semester and you dont have enough to justify visiting Chilis. Spend wisely, first-year students—youre their target.POD also offers some swipe options—premade sandwiches and sushi. Not terribly different from what youd find in a fridge at 7-Eleven. An average quick fix, comparable to microwaving some instant ramen. The customer service here is actually very refreshing. They tend to recognize people who come in and pick up on patterns, which was kind of nice to have sometimes.Again, caution is advised when spending here. I would recommend using dining dollars ONLY, and only do so if you are certain that you are okay with being ridiculously overcharged. If this isnt the case, visit a grocery store, a Dollar Tree, or a even a 7-Eleven (if its late).
Very overpriced. I bought a sandwich for $7.25 after reading the ingredients to make sure I wasn’t allergic, turns out they don’t name all of their allergens in the ingredients list because I ended up having an allergic reaction.
-Overpriced-Good service with nice people.-Opening hours arent kept
