We went in to get my ring finger sized and look at some options. Khiry and Lindsey were both very helpful. They showed us diamonds and styles and allowed us to ask all the questions we had along with educate us on some specifics. I came out with beautiful options. We decided to come back the following day, after exploring other options and they were both still very nice and helpful. Being in the days of CV 19 things are a little different.... you can only enter the store if an associate is available to assist you, otherwise you will have to wait outside. Once in the store its business as usual!! The associates Ive dealt with are always friendly and helpful, very personable. They make the new restrictions tolerable. I enjoy shopping here!!

Went into her a ring resized and adjustment they dont do that to the type of trying that I had (just a class ring). Okay, fine. But the guy that helped me was smarmy, condescending, and generally unpleasant and unhelpful. Ill never darken the doorway of Jared again.

I thought i couldnt get a big beautiful diamond ring for a good price. I was just looking.She was so awesome that i got a 1.25 Solitaire diamond cushion ring.and a custom band all she help create. And she got me qualified for a Jared card when i thought I couldnt. She is definitely my jeweler from now and forever. She was so nice and down to earth.Definitely a people person. Absolutely spectacular customer service. I am a blue collar working man. I scrape week to week for the most part, but do enough to be humbled by it. As being blue collar we dont have expendable resources. So upon walking must state a budget so whomever is helping me knows how to help. As Im sure some may know when you state a budget most of them show you something outrageous just to make you leave. Lindsey Beals is not like most. She is some of the last true people that still believe in helping. She helped me for at least forty-five minutes to help me get what I wanted, but could also afford.

I went here to fix something in my engagement ring, which was not purchased from Jareds. The woman who helped me went above and beyond in making me comfortable leaving my ring. She rushed the order since I was short on time and was very communicative. I was very impressed with the level of service.

To keep this short and sweet, my fiancé and I had a wonderful experience at this store. We found an awesome wedding band, but due to the size of my hands, we had to get it resized. When I tried it on after getting it resized, I noticed the brushed finish on one side was dull compared to the other side. We asked if it could be fixed and they said absolutely. I want to give a special shout out to one of the technicians named Danny for doing an excellent job helping us fix the brushed finish because after he worked on it, the ring looked as good as new. Danny, you’re awesome at what you do, thank you for your help!Everyone else we dealt with was very friendly, little to no pressure to buy rings here and I was so pleased with them, I decided to get a beautiful set of 1/2 carat diamond earrings I have wanted for a very long time. I don’t think you’ll go wrong shopping here.
Came there Tuesday morning to get my jewelry inspected. Staff didn’t know how to do it, pretty much had to clean the jewelry myself. Asked about pearls because they had a different color to them while I waited, 2 of the idiots that was cleaning my jewelry didn’t know the answer to that either. So don’t really know why they are even working there...
Came here and bought @ diamonds direct in shortpump. The lady who was helping me honestly appeared to be unkept and not who I wanted to buy from. Products were better at diamonds direct and pricing. Felt pressured when they realized I wasn’t buying and she bought someone else over to convince me to. Strange experience
I went in to get my husbands silver chain fixed, it was a simple fix. They told me it would cost $40, way too much for that kind of repair. So, I told them that Id rather buy a new chain for $40. Upon looking for a new chain, the saleswoman kept showing me the pricier chains while I was only interested in the chains for $40, which she knew. I knew what to look for as far as a sturdy chain and what I wanted. The saleswoman didnt know what kinds of chains were which. She had her supervisor come over who had no clue either and proceeded to try to force feed me into opening up a credit card with them. No knowledge of jewelry, pushy, and down-right unprofessional. Ill never go back to any Jared.

Went in to Jared on a Saturday last week and thought that they were going to be slammed busy. They were, however even though all the sales people were with someone, the young lady up front still greeted me and told me someone would be right with me. I looked around for about 5 mins until someone got free and then was helped. I ended up getting a Jared account and got my dream bracelet that I never thought I could get. I love this store, and the person helping me was very knowledgeable. I will be returning!! I love this Jared!!!!
The store is poorly ran. Went last weekend to get girlfriend engagement ring. First the staff all looked sad to be there. Secondly I could tell the woman and boy that helped me didn’t know what they were talking about and one smelled like she just smoked a 12 pack before helping me. The boy was nice but not who I wanted to buy a nice ring from. (He’s actually the one that asked me to post a review)This store has gone down in the dumps though. I decided to buy my ring elsewhere.
Khiry helped me as soon as I walked in the door. He spent hours with us on the first visit showing us multiple different rings, but I left undecided. I went back for a second visit. He never got pushy and was so patient. I went back yesterday with a decision & I am so glad he was there through the process. He made it so much more enjoyable. Their systems were down bought a ring for my wife and the lady charged me twice that was almost $1,000 twice. Called to remedy it but they were having issues reimbursing me. They apparently called my bank and my bank could not do anything but try to replace which put me and my family in a inconvenient spot. I wanted this to be a surprise wedding anniversary gift but now have to explain why I lost a $1000. As a customer they should have reimbursed me cash knowing the situation.

Almost a year ago I purchased a mens wedding band there beautiful Diamond ring. Ive taken it back several times for free cleanings. The salesperson Debbie was extraordinary very attentive took care of all of my needs and is always there to answer any questions or help me with anything else I need there in the store. On my last trip there to get my ring cleaned, Susanna took the time to clean my wifes Pandora bracelet as well as two earrings I had purchased somewhere else. She noticed that one of the prongs on my ear ring was loose and that a prong on my wifes ring purchased somewhere else was broken as well. We were able to take them where we purchase them and got them fixed. Had it not been for her attention to detail we both may have lost our stones and never had a clue till it was too late. Great job ladies well done !!!!!💍
I love my ring, but I hate the service & care. Every time I have to go for my inspection I end up waiting forever! This month is busy because of holidays, which I understand, but 3 times I have attempted and after waiting over 30 minutes I had to leave. I have 3 kids and cant wait that long. I dont understand why it takes that long and why someone else cant take drop off orders to be picked up later! I have another diamond from Kay and one from Zalea and I have had NO problems getting immediate help those places.

He is always gives me time to think instead of rushing me to make a purchase. The customer service sucks if you look a certain way (not dressy enough and/or a minority...). I was followed around, the clerk tried to make me pay twice and THEY messed up my ring order but tried to make it out to be my fault, assuming I ordered a fake custom piece but wanted a real stone; that ring was pricey so Im stuck with them until they fix it. Quality product? Yes. Everything else? Not worth it. Drive to the location on Broad St. Or better yet go to any other jeweler.
1. A pleasant sales associate recommended that I have the prongs on my wedding ring replaced being that they had worn down(I have been married for 17 years).2. The prongs were replaced and I received my ring back 1-2 days before my vacation. When I returned from vacation I noticed that the prongs were bent.3. my husband took my ring back and was told by the associate that the material is metal and it bends. The ring was fixed and picked up within 2 days.4. Once I received my ring back the 2nd time, after a few days I discovered that the fit was tighter and the prongs seemed to be improperly positioned/placed etc.5. My husband and I took my ring back and within minutes the associate the same one who made the metal bends comment begin to speak about how my claims were not possible and attempted to explain why in a disrespectful and condescending manner. She spoke over me and I even advised her that I was not happy with her tone and her condescending responses to my concerns. After going back and forth for nearly 15 minutes, I requested a refund and left the store. There was no apology, no let us try to help, no care whatsoever for my unresolved situation and/or future risk/reputational concerns for the business. The nameless associate did not care that I left with a flawed ringed or the companies brand to do quality work and provide pleasant service. I am more upset with the dismissive behavior from the associate than I am with the lack of quality work rendered. I will follow up with Jared In hopes that my issue will be resolved. I did send a message through Jareds FB page and received an email from a representative asking for details.

The sales man was very helpful he was not pushy at all he was very knowledgeable and he helped me walk away with the best gift for my sweetie I went to the Jared Galleria on Midlothian Turnpike I would highly recommend them
Maybe it’s the location that is awful because I have been to other Jared’s and have had a better experience however, this location (should have known by the awful sign outside) is terrible. I have had multiple bad experiences before but I decided to write about this one. I went there on Tuesday, 5 staff members were huddled up in th corner...training? Gossiping? I don’t know but what I do know is they looked at me and must have known I only wanted an inspection because no one wanted to help me. After looking around for a bit a lady walked up to me and told me to “ go over there someone will be right with you” pointing towards the repair cashier. No one was there and after 5 mins of waiting and looking around for a manager I just left. I will not be returning. I sure as heck won’t let my husband come back here. Valentine’s Day is coming and I would have looked around for a gift but now I will just ask my husband to go to short pump Jared or diamonds direct. This store is under bad management you can tell, and it looks dirty, the people don’t look professional anymore and the knowledge isn’t there like it used to be. Customer service is lacking maybe that’s why it was only 1 other guest in there when I went.

Short version--- Expensive diamond bracelet bought at Vault store in Potomac Mills (Dont shop there.....EVER!) less than 3-months ago now had prongs loose holding diamonds AND the repair shop that would service bracelet has gone under. Enter Kayla, Midlothian, VA Jared store! She not only exchanged the bracelet for a BETTER, HIGHER QUALITY diamond bracelet....oh, did I mentioned that is was actually LESS than the previous purchased bracelet by almost $400 AND I received the 3-year warranty AND STILL had a credit added back to my Jared account! I really wish I had read the reviews for this location before I shopped. Purchasing my engagement ring here was a big mistake. The ring broke almost within a year of purchase; one of the diamonds fell out. We didnt adhere to the return to have it serviced every 6 months policy, as it had probably been 7 or 8 months since we had had it cleaned. Mind you, we purchased the ring only about 14 months before this review.The employee clearly had no idea what he was doing. He had a great deal of difficulty finding me in the system. He even came across as untrained. At first called the diamond old, and that it had a certain kind of cut, but quickly changed to something completely different, and I truly believe he had no idea what he was doing. It made me very nervous and uncomfortable. After looking it up he informed us that the fix would cost $50, I presumed that since the ring had been purchased so recently, and since we were in the market for engagement bands, we would not have to pay it. He took the ring to be looked at (which we were not invited to take part in) and when he returned he informed us that another stone was loose and would cost another $20. He then looked at my fiancée and told her something along the lines of well you can just leave it loose if you want... which brought her to tears.There was no regret from the employee, and even when we were obviously disgruntled the manager was nowhere to be found.Personally I feel that I have been scammed into purchasing a low quality ring.The worst part about the entire situation is that we went from being happy and loyal customers about to make another purchase to literally being in tears.After picking up my ring today, I do not plan to return.

Absolutely terrible customer service.They had took a payment on my Fiances account and did mot process it causing the bank to close his account.We went in to make a payment and found this out.After going through his bank account and finding proof and point of sale he called up the bank and they had us bring our proof to Jared/Chesterfield and make them get on the phone with the bank and Jared manager and my Fiance so it could be fixed.I got my ring cleaned and went to join my fiance who was in the managers office.I said to her let me introduce myself Im his Fiance and Im unhappy with the way you do buisness and will be leaving a review about this stores service.The manager replied Get out of my faceI replied Im not in your face dear and I have an insurance rider to put on file sonce i just hot new renters insurance and may I email you the pdf?She replies Im pregnant I cantThen says again Get HERRR outta my face and storms out.Whelp I guess these days you can take anyone out of the hood and make them a manager but this just was not right.I will not be purchasing our wedding bands or ANYTHING,EVER from Jared of Chesterfield.As far as cleaning my ring,They had to steam,soak,steam,steam again to clean it and thats everytime and they act annoyed to do their job.They also act annoyed when I ask to see it under magnification and I see its still dirty and has water spots.Therefore they have to clean it again.Dont waste uour money or time.Go to Richmond Diamonds direct.Wish we would have.

Once again disappointed that I bought the lifetime warranty for cleaning and inspection. I walked in and saw only one customer and asked to get my rings cleaned. I was told to wait at the back counter and wasnt acknowledged for a few minutes. That was when a saleslady came to check on something for another customer and asked if I had been helped. She finished with her task and apologized because everyone was busy. I turned to leave and the showroom was busy then. This has happened more than once. I understand making commission is important but this discourages me from making future jared purchases.
I want to share the exceptional customer service that I received from Lindsey Beals when I came into the Jared store near Chesterfield Towne Center in Midlothian, VA to see about getting a pair of earrings that I had purchased as a gift for my daughter repaired as one of the stones had discolored.I learned that the extended warranty I purchased on the earrings did not cover soft stones such as opals, it only covered the metal setting. I was not aware of this exclusion as the time of purchase, but I should have read the fine print of the warranty, which I did not. Lindsey reviewed options for replacing the stone with me and how to best find a suitable match to the other earring. She also went as far to speak to the store manager and was able to offer me a one time replacement of the set of earrings due to the misunderstanding of the warranty coverage. She reviewed proper care of the delicate stones which I will share with my daughter so this will not happen again and she can continue to enjoy the beautiful earrings.Thank you Lindsey for your wonderful customer service and for going above and beyond. I will continue to visit this Jared location for all of my jewelry purchases and repairs and seek out LIndseys assistance.
Wow. This is quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had in a shop in my life. I have never experienced such a low level of customer service. Not only were the sales people rude but they also tried to sell me a ring that was completely misrepresented.I was considering getting my wedding band here since I wanted something simple. My engagement ring is platinum, and I asked them how they do their resizing and they said they fill the cut with white gold (a.k.a. the worst method possible for resizing platinum since over time you will see the line where it gets filled in). They told me they wouldnt fill it if I ordered in the right size and that I would have no obligation to purchase the ring or put down any money for it if I ordered the correct size to try on in the store. Later on, I overhear the sales ladies talking amongst themselves saying that they will order a size bigger and just resize it in store before I get there.Strike 1.The next day I come in asking to see the rings again and the lady who I set up an appointment with was not even there. This rude woman comes up to me and tells me that if I want to order the size for in the store still that I would have to put down a deposit. When I explained that the woman the day prior said there would be no deposit she responded by saying well that was tomorrow, and this is today isnt it?Strike 2.I was furious at this point with my experience and as icing on the cake, I look around the store and see a disclaimer sign saying that their diamonds may be filled with a glass-like substance to remove flaws. Uh, so you are selling blemished goods that you have covered up? Wonderful! Not.Strike 3.Ladies (and men buying rings/jewelry for their ladies), save your time. This is the worst jeweler in the area. I recommend going somewhere that will actually care about you and your experience such as Carreras.

I cant give this store 0 stars like I want to. I have had nothing but issues with this store for the last month and the manager of the store Andrea Williams was no help to me and it was like pulling teeth getting her to even pick up my phone call. I called the store because I recieved an email of a purchase that I did not make! It was put onto my account without my knowledge. Wouldnt you want to come to the Phone for that if you managed a business? 2 weeks prior to that i was charged three times more than i shouldve been for a purchase i did consent to. But it was taken out of my amex 3 extra times! Andrea was very non chalant about both events that i told her on the phone and you can tell she has no customer skills. I came in to the store to talk to her in person when I got off and the sales associate told me she was in the back. Unavailable? When is a manager ever unavailable? I have spent a large amount at this store but i will not be back. Horrible manager skills and staff Is not on the same page. Wont spend any money here. Go to diamonds direct
I usually come to this store and receive good service. However, it has gone downhill and I blame it on the store manager Andraya Williams. I got her business card one day after I overheard her yelling at her employees on the floor near the jewelry. She is so rude to them I don’t know how they take it. When I say yelling...I mean cursing at them and yelling. I overheard her telling a young girl that works there with a heavy accent that she Needs to selll more or she can look for another job. That makes me as a customer really uncomfortable. I feel so bad for the employees and none of them look happy. This is bad management at its finest and I will NOT be returning because I had a manager who used to treat me likeGarbage and I only hoped someone would say something who cared. Sorry Jared, I spent over 70000 at this place and I will not spend another penny. Corporate needs to help the sales people out and get rid of that manager. Terrible terrible terrible. She would rather punish her staff in public then help guests who are actually shopping. She doesn’t care. Smh
Terrible store manager who shouldnt be working there anyway at the first place.My boyfriend bought me a $3600 bracelet for a Valentines Day. We visited Jared together to exchange it on Sunday. However, one part time employee was so rude enough to ignored us and helped the customer who just walked in after us. My boyfriend clearly reported the issue, however, the store manager at that time was worse than the employee. The manager didnt even care nor asked what the problem was. Clearly, this store doesnt know how to serve the customers except for an employee named George. So we left, went to the Jared in Short Pump and purchased a $3,000 bangle from Rebecca, came back to Jared in Midlothian and returned the $3,600 bracelet. Ironically the manager did the return, never said a word about the incident.
My husband bought a very expensive watch from this store and the watch stopped running...in February 2016, he took it back for repair...took several weeks for the watch repair so he got it back in March 2016...well, it broke again last week and we are taking it back today. The repair bill was $323...and now it wont work again. Jareds said they sent it back to the company but I do wonder...today is June 19, 2016.
Great place, broke my ring, so thankful I had purchased the insurance. They are always so helpful and remember me!
Once again great service from khiry on sunday with my purchase of a black diamnd ring.so knowedgeable about things in the store . a month ago he helped me pick out diamond earrings for my granddaughter. Thanks to khiry for always providing excellent service

DO NOT GO TO JARED!!! This was my first time in Jared ever and the saleswoman Pinky greeted me saying oh, welcome back. I greeted her and told her that it was my first time in Jared so she may have me confused me with someone else. I told her I needed a ring resized, so she measured my finger, etc and all was well. But then she started trying to sell me the whole store saying that I needed diamond repair, ring soldering, and everything else. I told her I didnt have that much money and I could probably come back next month to get it done little by little with every paycheck. She murmured under her breath, hmmm suit yourself She then said that Jared had in house financing for credit. I declined. Thats where it went all downhill. She began to get SO NASTY and replied hmmm, have it your way. We filled out a form with my name, address etc giving Jared permission to resize my ring. She gave me the form and asked me to sign it. I noticed that the form said something about an item costing $ 999.95. I asked her what the number meant, and she raised her eyebrows and her voice saying If you dont like it, you can cross it out. I said, its not that I dont like it, its just that I dont understand what it is. She said, I refuse to give you an appraisal. I was so confused and puzzled, I said, appraisal?? She said, dont act like you dont know what an appraisal is. You want the appraisal to get insurance on the ring. I told her that I only paid $156.00 for the ring so I am pleasantly surprised that it is worth $999.95. Pinkys voice got louder and louder as shes now talking down to me. She began stating how she knows her diamonds and she is an excellent estimator of the value of diamonds. And how dare I question her estimating ability on rings. Still confused, I said to her, I am sorry maam, I dont understand. She said she refused to give me an appraisal and I said I dont need one. I said okay getting softer and softer as she got louder and louder. I finally asked on of the guys in the store who the store manager was and he said that he didnt see her but her name is Andrea. Pinky overheard my question to the other worker and said, you need a name. I looked at her and without a word, she gave me my ring back that was supposed to be resized, tossing is onto the counter so rudely. Then she demanded the ticket I had signed back. I called Jared 1 -800 number for customer service and the agent was a joke. She barely acted like she was listening to my complaint. Then I asked her did she need my phone number so that the store manager Andrea needed to contact me back. Customer service said no because after the store manager is notified, they will take care of everything internally within the store.
Im 35 yrs old and this is my first review. Jared in Midlothian has the worst manager on Sunday. I should have checked the reviews. 2.3 stars out of 5 with 10 posts. Thats terrible. Thanks for the previous posts, should have read it, would have never wasted time and gas.On Feb. 13th I purchased a $3,000 diamond bracelet for my girlfriend for Valentines Day. Today Feb. 15th I went there to exchange the bracelet for a $3,600 bracelet. Waiting about ten mins an employee came to help, we ask for the guy who helped earlier. But he was busy at the jewelry cleaning station, so she told us she would get him and take over for him. Soon as she started to walk away she turn and told us to wait, because the people next to us was waiting first. Really, the people she decided to help came in 5 mins after us. I became pissed, because we were there first and she didnt even go tell the other guy anything about us waiting for him. She should have asked both parties who was first. Im Asian and the people she assumed was waiting first was white. Dont want to use the race card so you be the judge of that.The only person who was apologetic, polite, and willing to help was an employee named George. He should become the manager, he has all the qualities. I really feel bad because George was so nice and helpful and I was pissed and swearing. If anyone decides to go there ask for George or Cathy. Cathy was the person who helped me purchase the bracelet on Feb. 13th. The manager there didnt even say sorry or care why we were pissed, even when she was the person returning my bracelet. Guess my money to her is not green but yellow like my skin.We went to Jared in Short Pump and purchased a $3,000 diamond bangle from Rebecca. Came back to this dump and returned the bracelet. Also have a $30,000 diamond they are bringing in for me to look at, but I will never go back there so I gonna ask them to send it to the store in Short Pump. They lost a customer who buys mostly jewelry for his future wife. Because I love her and she deserves the best. I hope this truthful review helps others.
