Used to be an awesome place that was fun to shop at. The longer things were there, the more discounted they become. Now its just store thats overpriced for pallet items.Lets also mention, all workers were standing around a register with no masks last time I was in there. Theres a global pandemic.Also, some of the employees could really use an attitude adjustment or training on customer service. Just not what it used to be.

Bargain Hunt has a little bit of something for the whole family everybody from Dads camping gear to the kids toys. The employees have always been friendly to me and its a spot where you can always expect to find a great deal on one thing or another. So anyone thats never been I definitely recommend it.

I do enjoy closeout stores, they are fun to explore. The staff is very nice there too

Give 2 stars because the phone number doesnt work. I live over an hour away and needed to see if they still had a particular item in stock they had the week before. The phone number rings once and then nothing.... Serious pain in the a$$. I drive the hour for said product... Only for it to be gone. Just would have been nice to have been able to make a 5 minute phone call instead of an hour drive for nothing.

Not a bargain, messy. While there an employee found a needle and loudly called her supervisor on the sales floor for direction, then called the police. Handled with no discretion. I left without purchasing anything.

I love the selection at this store. However, the employees are rude & just don’t care. The bathrooms were horrendous, the store was totally disorganized, and there were 5 teenage employees standing behind the counter socializing. When I told the employees about the bathroom, they responded with “I didn’t even know we had a bathroom.” Not sure if I’ll be back to this location until there is new management.

I went the other day when we got that awful snow looking for a shovel, and not a single employee was wearing a mask. I don’t care if you guys think they work or not, your customers do believe that covid is real and it is very unprofessional to make your customers feel unsafe in the store. I wear a mask all day at my job and never complain, so I know they can do the same. It isn’t that hard to wear a mask. There is a pandemic

Its got a lot of great selections but I couldnt fully enjoy the experience do to the over bearing employees who follow you around making you feel like a theif and they make no secret of there presence. Whats funny is why they are watching you the real criminals are taking what ever they want . I seen it happen every time I have been there and I think its funny. So to all the criminals out there if you see me go in this store wait a couple minutes and come on in and do what you do and you will see what Im talking about .

It is a great place to find some good bargains. However, the store is sometimes a mess and on occasion some of the employees give the impression that they are unconcerned about the customers. I gave it three stars because of the good bargains that we have been able to find at times and also because of some of the employees that show they really care about us as a customer.

Its a great place for some decent deals. Return policy as of now is 39 days which is great for refurbished and returned products that they sell. A great place to save a few bucks.

I bought a small shelf for what seemed like a great deal. I was aware that it didnt have hardware but thought it wouldnt be a problem. It was a huge problem! My daughter-in-law had to purchase items in packages which really added up, and she guesstimated screw and bracket sizes. Everyone got so stressed trying to put that thing together that I called an immediate halt! After staring at it for a couple months I ended up sending it to the dump, out the cost of approximately a new shelf would have cost. Be careful what you purchase at Bargain Hunt unless youre a true fixer-upper!

Went to look for a tall bedside table lamp with shade. Not much to choose from, most all shades were not included with the lamp base. Make sure you look up to the very top shelf. Spotted a lamp the color I was looking for and it came with the shade. It was an incredible price $9.00. While in line to pay I spotted a beautiful white sweater with embroidered gold reindeer in front. Left carraige in line and quickly stepped out of line and grabbed that bargain. Left happy, sweater was only $7.00 before the 20% off day discount. Love hunting down the bargains at Bargain Hunt.

I like this place but it was better discounts when prices were by the Dates. And I liked the challenge of good finds the prices was much better. The store is a lot more disorganized now, also. Like nobody really cares about the store appearance or product display.. Some items are dirty and 2nd hand stores are cleaner.

Bargain Hunt is a place where you never really quite know what youll find. If youre willing to dig and check back from time to time you can find some real jewels. I do wish theyd go back to the discount system where discounts increase the longer an item stays in stock.

I feel like since they did away with the diminishing price chart they had that they are just another flea market now. I definitely liked it better when you could search around for stuff that had been sitting around awhile. You can still find deals sometimes but for the most part the price doesnt match the quality.

Its a hit or miss. Ive gotten some unbelievable deals on one hand but on the other hand Ive left empty handed many times. Inventory is constantly changing and their sales are ridiculously cheap. Fun to sort through random stuff!

Its not every trip that I find something, but when I do come across something that I need, it is wonderful. Calculating the price down always feels good. Good selection of electronics, childrens games, clothing (mostly womens), bedding, cookware, good grade home coffee equipment, home chairs, and a lot else.

If your willing to dig around you can find the best deals in town. Even better deals than online. Keep an eye on the dates on the tags, extra savings as the items get older.

I love this place! Every ten days everything gets discounted another 10% as long as its been there for a month so the stock is always rotating and the prices are always getting cheaper. I love stopping in to see what they have!

I use to find great deals here, with some items 50-90% off. Now, you may have a slightly damaged item and it is only 15-20% off, which is just not worth it to me. The deals seem to be getting worse each time I have been over the last few months. The last time we went they didnt seem to be doing the date thing on most tags, which to me was half the fun, hunting for the things that were 70% off or more. I miss the old days of Bargain Hunt.

Not bad, you can catch some good deals if you know what you are looking for, however many of their items can be found for less elsewhere. Many times Ill come across something that Ive seen significantly cheaper online or am Walmart. Recently remodeled e store, seems like they have less merchandise after the remodel.

Deals are few with the new no dots and now used items structure. You really do have to hunt bargains. Example normally $55 purse, BH price $47. The reduction price tag from the original store itself was $22. So it costs more at BH by $25 than if youd snagged it on sell at the original store? Um, no.My husband was ready to leave after a trip to the restroom. I agreed after my unfortunate trip too. The restrooms were destroyed! Seats covered, floors covered, and zero options to dry your hands. This was not just a few hours between cleanings nasty, this was weeks old nasty. Ive been to state fairs with public restrooms cleaner. We ended up purchasing nothing and leaving.

Bargain Hunt is a great place to find brown box or returned retail items at cheaper than new prices. I have found a few great deals while rummaging through the shelves. You will find slight damage on some items, but it is returned or discontinued items.Bargain Hunt has since changed their deals concept, you used to get a slip check dates and the compare prices with the percentage marked down according to the date it hit the shelf. Every now and then you would see an item that previously had a date on it, but then when you return has since been updated to a new tag. I think that is what based the change in their deal concept now.Now you can see a price comparison on the sticker of their item versus the original cost. Every now and then you will see the price comparison blown out or proportion especially for electronic items. So always compare prices compared to current marketplace value for the item you are looking to purchase.

Was looking for a new television... 55inch or bigger.... stopped at bargain hunt first and all they had was regular television 50 inch.. I decided to go to Wal-Mart and look at their televisions and everything I wanted was over 500 dollars 55 inch or bigger... Decided I would go back to bargain hunt and buy the 50 inch...When I got back to bargain hunt I talked to a really nice cashier actually two cashiers that was very helpful... They went to the storage room to see if they had anything else.. they actually had a 55 inch 4K flat screen for $256.00 after discounts and taxes!!! You can not beat that deal for a 4K television... the two helpful stock boys brought the tv out and took it out of the box and plugged it in to make sure it worked and made sure the screen was perfect!! They put it back in the box and packed it out to my Jeep and loaded it! Very helpful and very friendly. I will definitely be back... If I could I would give them 10 stars..

When Bargain Hunt first came to Richmond, it was a place where you could find unique and unusual items for your home. Things were priced fairly and you could Hunt for real Bargains. Fast forward to now. The unique items are far and few between. The place is a mess with items thrown on the shelves (I mean it really looks like they were thrown, maybe from a distance too.) They decided to become a cheaper-than-Walmart clothing store with a gas-station quality grocery section (because we needed more of these in Richmond.) I give it a second star because the staff seemed nice enough.Management, if you read these reviews and you want to improve your store, here is what I would like to see as a customer:1.Appearance is so important. Clean and organize your shelves.2. Is your store a clothing store? If it is, keep it the way it is. If not, maybe move your clothes to another area so that it doesnt look like a kid trying to tell you his room is clean but he just moved his garbage to the sides.3. Bring back your unique items. If we want cheap groceries, we have Aldi, Save-a-lot, Family Dollar, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, and for some reason, Big Lots. Make the Bargain Hunt a hunt for cool bargains again. I can get my off-brand cereal and Chinese-made pants at a hundred other places.I am not a retail expert, but I really have no reason to visit Bargain Hunt. I only hope that it will return to its former glory.For the consumer, they do have some discount appliances, like a washer / dryer / fridge - dinged and scratched. You can also get that in the back of Peddlers Mall. They are basically a not-as-clean Family Dollar if thats what youre in to.
