Pella truly lived up to its reputation for exceptional quality and customer service. Joshua rose to the the challenge of helping us replace an odd size three panel sliding door with transoms. His solution was a custom two panel door that eliminated transoms, improved the overall look while providing easier access to our deck. The doors were so large that they required assembly on the deck before being installed. The 3 person install team arrived on time and completed the job when they said it would be done. They even transferred the alarm sensor from the old door to the new one. That is attention to detail! The fit and finish of the door is beyond our expectations. The total experience with top notch from the very first call, to the design, to the installation, to the cleanup. It was a job well done

We had Pella come out last year to replace all our windows and most of our external doors. We replaced the windows by the dining table with a large picture window and it has brought us enjoyment every day since. We love our new windows and doors.

I contacted Pella about possible window replacements. A sales rep was scheduled for two days later. Henry came out to our location as planned. he was on time, pleasant and knowledgeable. I had the pleasure in meeting Mr. Henry Silver, Design Consultant for Pella Direct. My back entry door had been leaking for quite sometime and thought it was time to get it fixed or replace the entire door unit with a Pella 250 Series Double Sliding Door. During our conversation, I showed him the water damage on the door frame and he immediately went outside to take a look at the drip cap and noticed it wasn’t sealed properly. He said water was most likely traveling down from the top causing damage to the inside wood frame. I told him I have a person coming out to look at the door frame next week to see if it could be repaired. Henry said the door unit could probably be repaired without replacing it. Here I am talking to a design consultant for Pella, but yet he gives me his opinion of what can be done to fix the problem to save money. He knows what he’s talking about since he has previous experience in the field of installing exterior door units.Mr. Silver is an asset to Pella Direct and they are very fortunate to have him on board. He is very knowledgeable, honest, and a great person to speak to and will answer any questions you might have regarding Pella products. I received the quote and I will definitely get back with him if I decide to move on replacing my back door.

While the work they did was good and the doors are high quality, our installation experience was lacking. It was the pandemic and things were weird, so we werent thrown by some long waits and rescheduled appointments. But we had multiple visits over a matter of four months, we were eventually ghosted by them, and they never finished the job. We still have open gaps between our floors and the door jamb and various other finishing steps that were never taken. Weve decided to just finish it up as best we can and move on, but I wouldnt recommend them.

She said I will stop by during the install. That never happened. She also stated one of my rooms blinds needed to be taken down. EDIT: Dropping to 3 stars. Installation was quick (only 1 day for 19 windows) but several windows came scratched, and 2 even had the grids out of alignment! I asked Henry over a month ago for 2 new sashes since they came broken, heard it would be a couple weeks, and havent heard anything since.2 windows werent caulked completely, 1 was missing caulk at the top, and I found one exterior with a hole in the caulk (Im sure rain can get in).Overall, I really liked the customer experience, but the actual product has left me pretty bummed out. It looks nice, but not $14,000 nice.ORIGINAL(5 star review): Henry Silver came out to quote me on replacement windows - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Pella had the most competitive prices for the quality of window they provide. I was thoroughly impressed not only by the price, but also the professionalism of the sales rep (Henry). We just received a quote today, and Henry couldn’t have been more helpful and conscientious of our time and money. The appointment lasted about an hour and a half, but we received three different quotes and were not pressured in any way.

Had windows replaced a little while ago and have had nothing but problems. Already had one replaced to due leakages issues and wouldnt you know it is leaking again and Pella doesnt want to stand by warranty. Have had the worst customer service ever with them. I live in a 35 year old home, and knew I was in need of new patio doors. Mr Duncan arrived on time and made us feel very comfortable at the initial meet n greet. Tells us a lot about him and the company he represents. Am very disappointed with this company. They came with raving reviews but my husband and I have seen nothing to warrant them. We ordered a door from this company and put 50% down in May of 2020 and are still waiting. We have reached out to the manager, sales representative as well as installation technician and the response is unacceptable. Telling us to wait and pushing back the installation date again and again. They have yet to offer a resolution or a tracking number. We have asked numerous times for just communication about our door then weeks go by with nothing. At this point I wish we would have gone with another company.

Can someone please call me back? I need my door finished. I’ve called numerous times. I’ve stated I work 9-5 on the phone so I can only pick up for you guys from 8-9am, I’ve called customer service to be put on hold or told someone would call me back, and no one does. My door was originally estimated to be done I. August, then the door was built incorrectly so they had to build a whole new one and replace it in October. Then they missed a few parts so they set that appointment up for November, then they only replaced one of the two missing parts. I need the baseboard for the door frame, my door is incomplete without it. Call me back or let me know how I can get this done. Thanks for your time.

The outside pane of our Pella sliding glass patio door broke. I called Pella of Richmond to get it fixed. I gave them the serial number of the door they informed me someone would get in touch with a quote. I received an email asking for a picture and details of the service I was looking for which I provided. 5 days later I received a quote. I called and said I wanted to move forward and paid over the phone for parts and labor. The part was not in stock and would take 5 weeks to get. No problem. A couple weeks later I get a call saying the part was on back order and it will be an extra week. No problem. The day to install the technician comes out, looks at the door and tells us the door they ordered wont fit. I called customer service to get the right door ordered and after a brief hold, Im told that corporate doesnt make that door anymore and that Id have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. They would refund my money but theres nothing they could do. Why was that information not available when the order was first submitted 6 weeks ago? Could not get a solid answer and just wasted 6 weeks waiting for an install that wont happen.

Not too much about the company / product that it was overkill like many salespersons that come for such quotes. He had answers to all my questions and suggestions when he understood what we wanted. Henry silver quoted us on total window frame replacement. He said we could not have replacement windows because we have no window stops. He gave us a quote of $46,000.00 dollars. Ten days later March 9 cliff McDaniel sent Henry silver picture of stops on our old windows. Kevin Epperly came the next day March 10 and agreed. We have window stops on our old windows. Pella did a new contract for $31,743.57. We had already given Henry a ck for $23,000.00. The windows were installed june 9,10, and 11. When the installer gave us the final bill, pella still had not credited us for $675.00. Cashed our final check twice. $8000.00 DONOT deal with this salesman !,,,,

We ordered doors on June 4, 2020 with an expected delivery date 8-10 weeks later. 4 months later, we are STILL waiting. Received a call from the Pella (Mayland Location) stating they will not be calling us regarding ETA for delivery because they dont know when that will be. I expected more from Pella. Hugely disappointed.
