Garage Door Geeks were great. I had an issue with a belt on an older garage door and contacted them on a Tuesday afternoon. After discussing options (the garage door opener was really old) the best route was to replace the equipment. Their prices were fair and honest.Fortunately for me, they had a job that had been rescheduled and were able to come to our house the following day. They showed up on time, did the work agreed upon in a very timely manner and left the work site immaculate. A+ for communications and service.

One of the springs broke on our garage door. These guys were very responsive, professional, and easy to work with. They resolved the broken spring quickly and then some! For years, our door could be heard down the block. They left it running smoother and quieter than it had ever been. There was no extra charge for the tune-up. We only paid for the spring replacement. Have used Garage Door Geeks at two homes over a few decades and they have never failed to do right by us. They explain what they are doing, offer you choices and alternatives, including waiting and not doing work when the items have an extended life of use and dont need to be replaced. Also had service calls where they charged nothing because they said the problem was covered by their warranty, which is very rare these days. They are respectful and fair, which is rare, and valuable any day.

They were very accomodating. Spring broke and they were able to come in less than 30 minutes. The service person was very nice. In todays world you dont fine people who are polite and come in 30 minutes.

I was given a time frame of between 3 and 5 and was told I would receive a call when someone was on the way. I received a call at 2:30 letting me know someone was on the way and at 3:05 Jason was pulling into my driveway. I was told it would take about an hour and again, he hit the mark. He was very professional and easy to deal with and had a wonderful sense of humor. He explained everything in terms I could understand and made sure I knew how everything worked. Garage door spring broke in the morning. Called one garage door repair company. She said she would need to route my request for service dispatch which would then be followed by a diagnostic service visit and fee. At that visit, repair parts and labor estimate would be provided.I called these guys and spoke with Kevin, the technician, and he provided me an estimate, repair tasks and time needed while on the call. Later that same day, he showed up at the appointment time promised. Extremely pleased with Kevin, his work and the result!

These guys were recommended to me by a few people. Very easy to deal with up front to schedule an appointment. Told me the price and it was more than fair. They stayed in contact and showed up early. Had the garage opener installed in an hour or so. Extremely clean work. Wish more contractors were like these guys. No need to shop around. You might be able to save a little bit but you will wish you called the Geeks because you can’t put a price on piece of mind.

We had a sudden issue with our garage door not opening even though the motor was running, and a couple other small issues though those weren’t bothersome enough to be the reason we had them out. Josh was our technician. He was very knowledgeable about our unit. The door was a very easy fix. He felt the other issues were probably because the circuit was old. At some point, we may need or want a new unit, but he said it doesn’t have to be done now. I asked if he could check the circuit board, but he explained that the process for checking it could actually damage it and then require replacing the unit. Overall, I felt he was knowledgeable, respectful and honest. I’ll be happy to use Garage Door Geeks again.
