That’s all fine and well, but the real test is how well the clubs work for your game once you get them. I am 100% more confident than I’ve ever been on a course with the clubs they helped me select. My handicap has literally dropped almost 10 strokes. Yes, I’ve been practicing and all that, but it starts with having the right equipment. Hodson Golf is, bar none, the best in the biz.

I had a fantastic experience. Andrew really knows his craft. He explains the process and the different club combinations he has you try. His prices match and in my opinion beat big box stores because you will get the same clubs for the same price but with Andrew you get the added benefit of the fitting process. If you are skeptical about getting fitted don’t be it make a world of difference regardless of handicap.

Being confident that you have the right equipment is one of those investments that pays for itself.It has been a year since I did a full fitting with them - my first time getting new clubs, let alone getting fit - and I couldnt be happier with how it has worked out. First, I love my new clubs. Second, the purchase and shipping were smooth and easy. Third, the actual fitting was one of the more interesting and fun golf experiences I have had. It felt like a Tour experience to get that attention, and to learn about my swing and equipment set-up. Fourth, the follow-up experience has been top notch - they have generously helped me out with little things here and there since the first fitting. The Hodson crew is amazing. I did my initial fitting with Andrew over 3 years ago now and I’ve been coming back to him ever since for club adjustments, builds you name it. Andrew Hodson is one of the best fitters in Virginia, if not on the east coast. I’ve done a few fittings with him, I live near DC but drive the 2 hours to Richmond as his expertise and setup is worth it.

I highly recommend Hodson Golf and Andrew. He has fitted me for two drivers, 3-wood, hybrids, lob wedge, and a putter. With every fitting there was plenty of time allotted to work through a number of different options. He took the time to understand my current game and budget to narrow down brands to focus on.Andrew is also great with Jr. Golfers. Hes helped my son out many times with clubs and advice from when he was 8 all through high school.

Andrew has helped me with clubs on a number of occasions. He went as far as to watch me hit balls for a while and then adjusted the club heads / shafts and then watched to see if I was satisfied and if any other adjustments could / should be made. While working on my clubs he was attentive, polite and extremely knowledgeable about what he was doing. Hodson Golf truly is an excellent choice for custom club fitting and club repair. I arrived on a day that the range was closed because of heavy rains the previous evening. We did what I considered a very rushed fitting and was told to come back after using the clubs for a couple of weeks. Had great difficulty with my woods so when I returned ( an hour drive each way) Andrew spent about 15 minutes with me and that was it. He was swithing shafts and heads and adjusting the clubs without any explanation as to why. Still having difficulty with the woods. My last set of clubs came from Golf Galaxy and the gentleman spent an incredible amount of time being sure the clubs were correct. For the $2400.00 I spent, I felt the whole process was rushed and am actually sorry I chose Hodsons.
