The scones, breads, and cakes from Two and a Half Irishmen are fantastic. It’s like having that authentic Irish village bakery just down the lane. It’s just a short stroll to the shelves of the website to ogle the abundant variety of mouthwatering offerings. And the customer service is first rate. My order arrived in short order. There was a minor concern which was addressed promptly and graciously. So put on a kettle of tea, place the jam and clotted cream on the table, & lay a spread of pastry from Two and a Half Irishmen. While you’re at it, give me a call, I’ll be right over!

Well this is some delicious bread. We purchased the soda bread, Guinness treacle bread, and Galway apple cake, and all three are very, very good. Had some issues with arranging pickup, but thats because Im a dummy who orders online on a Friday night. Niall was very accommodating though, and again the bread is excellent.

Tried a scone at a local farmers market and it was quite yummy. I did not realize that this location on Google maps is a personal residence, NOT a storefront 😂 I learned that the hard way when I drove out here looking for a store.

I won a Traditional Irish Gift Basket for St. Paddy’s day back in March (2021). After a bit of a mishap, I contacted the owner directly about it. Niall was quick to rectify the mishap and provided me a delicious looking gift basket.I was quick to dive into the Blackberry Mint Julep. Really went above and beyond to deliver our order - on St. Patricks Day, nonetheless! This is our second round of purchasing their products and first experience with their online ordering. Another great order.Several years ago I spent 2 weeks driving around the southern coast of Ireland. Lunch would be Brown Soda Bread and Irish Cheese. I even brought back two loaves of soda bread in my carry-on. When I got back to the States, I found good Irish cheese, but until now hadnt been able to find brown soda bread.Thanks for keeping Ireland alive in Virginia.

I come to the farmers market in Bryan Park just to pick up something from Two and a Half Irishmen. Everything is fresh and tastes great, truly never disappoints. The Galway Apple cake is one of the few things my wife (5 months pregnant) can eat right now and she loves it as well. Keep up the good work!

Every item I have gotten from Two and a Half Irishmen has been great. I have celiac and their gluten-free options are so much better than the expensive stuff at my local grocery store. Jim and I were just married. At the party the night before the wedding, we were treated to a generous supply of the Guinness Cupcakes !!! Niall and family do a great job! When I eat their scones I feel like I’m back in Ireland! I order them from my home in Virginia Beach and they ship them pretty fast to me from Richmond!

Their bread is the best! I havent tasted one that I didnt like. The staff is always so friendly and gives extra samples to my little daughter when we come to the market. All around great experience when you buy from them.

I can’t say enough good things about Niall’s and Two and a Half Irishmen.If you live in Richmond and haven’t had his loafs you are missing out.I am gluten-free so I have only had the gluten-free options, but I have purchased other items as gifts and everyone has raved about them. Most recently the Guinness and Irish Cream Chocolate Cupcakes, (I watched as a grown man stuff an entire cupcake in his mouth, then said it was the best thing he had eaten), also the Guinness and Chocolate Porter cake was raved on.As for my fellow allergy friends, you know its so difficult to find food that tastes like you are not eating cardboard. This is not the case with Two and a Half Irishmen. I forget it’s gluten-free or vegan. For Thanksgiving brunch, I brought multiple of the vegan and gluten-free loafs home and no-one was the wiser. Everything tastes SO good!My personal favorite loafs are the Zucchini or Banana Bread, both come with or without chocolate chips. All four of those loafs are amazing.Pro-tip: add a little butter to a pan and pan fry a piece of one of those; Its my secret breakfast side for when company comes into town.He recently started making scones, I’ve tried a couple different flavors of the gluten-free ones. Im one of the lucky people who has to eat gluten-free food and that normally means that I have very few bread options (and most are very dry or taste like sand). But I found Two and a Half Irishmen gluten-free breads and scones at Tom Leonards Farmers Market and all of the options are incredible.No joke. Incredible. Look at the pic...Even my wife (who doesnt have to eat GF) loves the breads. Ive since ordered online as well and they arrive perfectly. GF or not...youre going to love it all!
