I needed some slats cut for my grandsons beds. Price of 1 half sheet of wood I needed was 25$. I guess I looked some kinda way because Daniel not only found me a piece of scrap in size I needed,he called Travis his mgr. and got the o.k to cut to length I needed at .50c a slat!! I wanna thank them both it really made my day. Kudos dudes.

You already know. Its Home Depot, and by now we all understand what these big box stores can do for us and what they cant. So, with this in mind, reviewing about a Home Depot store seems a little silly. They have good brand control, and part of the point is to be sure that your experience is pretty much the same regardless of which store you visit.With that in mind, my review of the Ridgecrest, CA store is about my experiences with the staff and the layout of this particular building.The people are fantastic. Every single interaction Ive had with the Ridgecrest Home Depot employees has been good. Theyre knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous.The store layout is a bit different than what Im used to (I recently relocated from Georgia - the mother hive for Home Depot - to rural California), but the organization still makes sense and products are easy to find.

They had the kind of parts and tools I was looking for, price was alright. Cool store. 👍

Very well maintained and organized. Staff are very cooperative and helpful. Neat and clean. Huge parking spot. You will get almost everything you need for house at reasonable price. Nursery section is great too. I like their collections. Their app is so awesome and always so helpful staff 😊

I bought a dishwasher on a Friday. I was told one was in stock.I paid 120.00 extra for installation. I was not told installation was separate. She acted like it would be delivered and installed. It was delivered the next day, but they did not know anything about installation. He called the store and said I would be contacted the next . I called after put on hold for about 10 min I was told I would be called in 48 houers . I went back to the store and got three different answers in two mins. From three days to two weeks. Was asked what I wanted them to do. I was told I would be called tommorow. nothing but run arounds. very frustrating..

They have everything you would expect. I had a bad experience with the manager here (I cant remember his name). I tried returning paint after I realized that I was given bad advice on what kind of gloss to use for cupboards. The manager told me they cant refund paint despite the fact that his employee recommended it. I asked about them taking accountability for their employees to which he replied, we hire who we can, implying that most of them have no idea what theyre talking about in their sections of work. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Good Home Depot. Not quite as large as other stores in the big cities in LA county, so the variety isnt quite as good, but theres still a True Value, Tractor Supply, Harbor Freight, and Walmart in town so I can always find what I need. (Yes, I said Walmart; Ive actually bought hardware and household items there a couple times when the places I mentioned didnt have what I needed -- quality wasnt as good, but it got the job done.) But I find the workers at this Home Depot are much kinder and helpful.

The only diy supply store here so its gotta be good for business lol they usually have whatever ur looking for at reasonable prices the curb side pick up n shop is excellent they are super helpful and polite. Only issue with this store Is the manure compost they had for sale one.time and then now nothing n mostly miracle gro brand need that variety. And their garden n plant selection is pretty much well up to date, stocked, and fair priced but they need to water alittle more and only in early am n evening so not so much wilting dried up n dying plants they having mark down half price to as well quick.i buy these alot especially the oleanders but lately like aa month or so all the plants Ive gotten didnt make it, and when an fruit bearing tree etc is 35-85 bucks I cant afford to hope for the best when an I buy n transplant it...I had no luck with the cherryTree or the mulberry.but overall Im gonna say this store is a 5 star overall anyway.

I used to shop here all the time but NOT anymore! This place is horrible! I spent $1300 on a customized door that was defective prior to purchase. It had warping and overall we werent satisfied with the door. Being the first time we bought a door we took the item out of the frame to put it in our vehicle and after receiving a call to pick up the frame, they threw it away, only a day later. We NEVER would have taken it out of the frame if we knew what would result. We tried returning the door and they directed us to Masonite whom requested photos of the door. Masonite was less than helpful and would not take the door back under warranty, even though the door was defective when we bought it. Home Depot store manager Travis and his team was less than empathetic concerning the situation and their horrible customer service makes me glad to say I will not be returning for future purchases. What a headache and a loss of $1300. They have lost my support.

Multiple bad experiences. All involving instances when I couldnt find anyone to help me except people who didnt work in those particular sections. When I did find people, they told me they didnt know where to find what I was looking for, and then brushed me off. Theyre lucky they have a a significant monopoly around here.

Kaylee was amazing, the entire process of getting a door or window ordered was a long 3 month joke. The guy that works in the lumber dept i believe his name was robert equally a joke. I was in 2 days ago for some wood. They put boards anywhere they want so everything is out of place. Anyway the wood i needed was on the top shelf so instead of helping me 1st, he decided to cut some lumber for a couple that walked over to him 5 minutes after he said he would help us while we just stand around doing nothing. The manager Travis does not honor what he says on the phone either. If this town had another home improvement store i would Not be back here.

This home depot located in ridgecrest California, is okay. Most of the employees really dont know anything about construction, So your on your own if you have a detailed question.

Glad Ridgecrest has a Home Depot. Simply for the corporate availability aspect. Service is meh at best. Employees dont seem to be customer oriented. It sort of feels like Im invisible in this store. Ive wandered around many times looking for what I need. No one in sight. When you do see someone they dodge down another aisle after making eye contact. Cashiers are blah. No helpfulness. May as well have self check outs here. Dont expect Lowes type of service here. If you know an employee youll fair well in this store. Ive seen many personal long drawn out conversations occur. Ive tried to get help but theyre only concerned with catching up with a friend. Good luck with help here.

Employees didnt know what half the stuff was I wanted they didnt even know what again I wanted they didnt even know what a gang Box was they didnt know what a pair of electricians yet know what a pair of electrician scissors and a knife was they had no clue it was they had no clue at all what a gang Box was all what a gangbox was Ive won all over the country to a lot of 3 to a lot of home depots and they have them as soon as you walk in the door .

Sales associates are nice but not well trained and manager is like a robot repeating himself, not making any effort to understand. The promise and dont deliver more than one occasion!!! Many issues on delivery process and then refused to install as promised. I had to pay another vendor for installation!!!

This store is a joke. They dont have half of the things they put on display and tell you that they will order them for you. When you order them it comes a month late. Wouldnt shop here if I had another choice.

Ridgecrest Home Depot is such a nice change to the other locations I’ve shopped. One of the biggest things I noticed right away was how much the employees there wanted to help us. Not like the car dealers that attach themselves to you, but they just make themselves available in each department if they aren’t busy. It was strangely nice because when my husband and I went with money to purchase a washer and dryer, I couldn’t get anyone at the Bakersfield locations (visited at least 3 different ones that day) to help us (And we were there to spend a lot of $$ because we needed them). This time we went to pick up an exhaust fan and a new water purifier for our fridge and every department we would walk into an HD employee would make sure to let us know that if we had any questions or could help locate or retrieve something to let them know. We asked a few questions that day for future home improvements and I really appreciated the customer service they provided to make our trip out to Ridgecrest so worth the extra miles. Thank you Ridgecrest sales associates for assisting us and changing the way I was starting to feel about all Home Depot’s. You guys reallymake the difference!🙂😀

Boyfriend and i spend a lot of money here and have yet to have any problems.

I went in to get the wood that I would need to build myself an archery box. After I found the sizes of wood that I would need, it was easy to find someone to call somebody over to cut the wood into the lengths that I needed. The fellow who cut the links of wood took the time to make sure he knew the measurements I needed and the number of pieces I needed at the various lengths. All in all I am happy with my experience.

My favorite store in town. Theyve got a huge selection at very reasonable prices (on the merchandise, not their services). The customer service is usually pretty good and their return policy is very lenient. They offer 10% military discount too.

Good selection of commonly found items. Less than impressed with wait times and availability of associates, however all associates were pleasant and helpful, and easily guided me to what I needed. Stock seemed a little low in the area I needed, had to settle for a quantity I did not need as the smaller quantity was not stocked.
