This is hands down the best experience I have had with a mechanic shop! Kristi and her team took on my little Samurai project that everyone else told me was too much. She researched old/ rare parts, they might have done some welding, tried to save money where possible, and returned phone calls and provided frequent updates re: availability of parts, alternatives, etc. They did the emissions work super quickly and then got it smogged same day! I cannot say enough about how excellent the service was. I would actually rename them Automotive Magicians! Thanks guys!!

I have visited this location quite a few times for different repairs as my car needed them. The prices are excellent and the service even more so! I highly recommend Justin & his excellent team. As an added bonus, their dogs are adorable!Five stars.

We think we got a great diagnosis, not just of our original complaint ( intermittent gas vapor smell) but a solution to lack of power & rough idle which we had kindof noticed. We had a bad brake booster which affected all vacuum run activity in engine system. We even feel confident that we will pass our smog test in January. Came in underquote also. This is a mom & pop shop but has a good mechanic and they communicate well,. Very happy even though this was an expensive repair.

So at 5a, after driving all night from the Bay, we had an automotive emergency right as we were about to leave Trona and head into Death Valley NP. It wasnt looking good, and we limped back to Ridgecrest.Toyota of Ridgecrest effectively said to pound sand. We were referred to Automotive Physician by a couple others shops who werent able to see us that day.Better than being able to check it out, we were lucky enough to need a part in stock at the Napa a few doors down. We were on our way by noon for a very reasonable cost, and even had another burgeoning issue taken care of.

I highly recommend this shop. He is honest and fair. My truck was running very rough and when I got it back it runs smooth as glass! I believe he is a mechanical mastermind.

We had an awesome experience with this shop. The owner, Justin Glass, went above and beyond to save our Death Valley 4WD trip. We were on our fist day of a six day trip traveling from Santa Barbara to Ridgecrest, planning to hit the 4WD trails with three other vehicles on Saturday morning. We got as far as Lancaster when the front brakes on the 1974 Jeep CJ5 completely failed. (The brakes were supposedly inspected by the shop that I had just bought four new tires from just before the trip. Apparently that didnt really happen). It was Friday at 5 oclock, there were no brake shops open, and we had reservations at a hotel in Ridgecrest that night. So we had AAA tow the jeep to the hotel hoping to find a shop that was open on Saturday (really glad we upgraded to the AAA Plus membership!)We looked online for shops that would be open in Ridgecrest, but most showed that they were closed on Saturday, and it was after hours on Friday, so we couldnt call them. By chance, we went to dinner at Caseys BBQ just before the kitchen closed. I asked the people working at the restaurant if they knew of any good mechanics who worked Saturday, but they didnt have any suggestions. When we sat down we saw that the table cloth had a pattern that was printed with business card sized ads for local businesses. There, right in front of me was an ad for Automotive Physician Justin Glass, Mechanical Mastermind, with a phone number. Clearly this was a local independent shop. I called the number and amazingly, he picked up, even though it was after 9 P.M. I explained our situation and, even though the shop was closed on Saturdays, Justin agreed to meet me there on Saturday morning. The brake problem was bigger than we expected and Justin had to find parts from several different suppliers in the area, and even cannibalized a brake drum from another old jeep that he had in his parking area. He checked everything to make sure the brake system was working well and was safe and road/trail worthy. And the charge for this service was more than reasonable. We were able to get out on the trail that afternoon and finish the trip.Not only did Justin go out of his way to help out of town strangers on his day off, but his wife and kids and dogs were there too working on their motorcycles. All of them were very friendly and welcoming. A Norman Rockwell family with dirt and grease under their fingernails. Loved it!if you are ever in Ridgecrest and need a mechanic, go to Automotive Physician, Justin Glass, Mechanical Mastermind. I wish I could give him 6 stars.

I didnt have all the money for the parts up front but they ordered them and fixed it any way with only my word to pay. I paid as promised when finished and my truck ran great!
