On Oct 11,2021 my Daughter had a blow out just outside of Mojave, Ca. in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of a really bad windstorm. Made a call to A&L tire and Brian and the guys had a truck and tire headed to her within 15 minutes, it wasnt easy for them to get to her because of the wind and road closures, but they went down some back roads and made it to her, fixed her tire and sent her on the way home, Thank You for such AWESOME service. Highly recommended. It was 58 miles just to get to where she was......Thanks to the tech who made the trip and fixed the tire.
Picked up a nail on our way home from Mammoth. Limped it in here and the guys jumped on it. Great service, proper repair, very fair price. Highly recommend A&L!!
Bait & switch with tires, they will show you one and put a different one on your car. Prices are astronomical! Wouldnt send anyone of my friends or family here just shady business

Fixed my problem same day and it could have been much more expensive if left undiagnosed. I was able to apply for a 6 months no interest card that took the sting out of a u-joint repair.

This place was a lifesaver! Got us patched and back on the road to enjoy camping this weekend after a rogue highway stick stuck our all terrain. Marco and his crew were amazing, polite, and helpful. Everyone there was courteous and worked to ensure we were taken care of. I would highly recommend this shop/crew to anyone in need of emergency assistance, tires, brakes...you name it! We had a fantastic experience. We had a trailer loaded with mules and horses when we had a blow out close to pearsonville. We called them and they brought us 2 tires and changed them very quickly. It was like 110 out so them being so timely was great. They also were extremely cautious and courteous with that fact that we had 9 head of stock in the trailer. We will most definitely use them again. It also was very very affordable!! Great company!
We blew a tire in Death Valley and had to ride a spare 75 miles to Ridgecrest on a Sunday afternoon! We figured we were screwed. But fortunately A&L was willing to open up on a Sunday for us (theres a $200 fee but thats better than a night in a hotel) to change our tire so we could drive all the way home. My boyfriend and I got a flat tire coming back from a camping trip. Not wanting to drive another 120 miles on a spare, we decided to get it patched. Fortunately, we came across A & L. They patched it up and had the wheel back on in under 15 minutes for a fair price. Great service and honest assessment of the damage. Didnt have exactly what I wanted, but the size was a little odd. They did have a suitable substitute, and got me ready for an out-of-town trip in less than an hour.

A&L was great in a time of need. In Death Valley, a rock pierced my tire and rim requiring both to be replaced. My Mercedes SUVs rim, however was not in stock in any of the dealerships and there were no aftermarket rolls that fit. Brian at A&L went above and beyond and hunted down a rim, finding one just outside LA. He sent a tech to get it and replaced my wheel. Life. Saver. Go there, they will treat you right!
Awesome experience. See my tire down below was able to apply for snap credit minutes before walking in and using it to pay for four brand new tires. They were so professional in the process as well helping me with all my questions about my new tires and even mechanical issues. Hands down one of the best if not the best in the city.

The service was amazing. We are from out of town and they treated us so well, not like out-of-towners at all. Yesterday, I got my two wheel drive Jeep stuck in soft sand at the Pinnacles- Chris absolutely saved my day taking 2 hours out of his afternoon to come help me tow it out for a very reasonable price. These guys go above and beyond, can’t recommend them highly enough. Thanks so much again guys!

PLEASE READ. Let me tell you a story. My family and I were driving up from Orange County to the Kern River in our RV, drive was going stellar until we had a blowout just past Mojave, we got stuck there for 3hrs on the searing heat. AAA came and helped me get back on the road but I new I needed all new tires, he recommended A & L and I wrote it down. They close at 5 and since it was 7 I decided I would camp out at Walmart until morning. Driving past it we saw a light on so decided to stop and knock on the window. A man named Brian came out and opened the door. Brian listened to my story and then called another guy in, WAY past closing time. These guys stayed late, while my whole family watched Ice Age in the lobby, and replaced all my tires. Im blown away how amazing these guys are. They finished at 9:30 and he said, since the drive is dangerous at night to Kern River, to just park out front and sleep in our RV and drive in the morning. Im currently writing this review out front of A & L in my RV. Any time I need new tires on my RV Im literally gonna plan a trip near here to get tires from them.

I have never planned or wished to visit this just a place for a tire service because I was on a long road trip and was on a rental car. But thing happened, my tire got nailed. Having no choice and did not want to take my safety for granted, I brought the car here for a patch before I head to Mono Lake. All it took was less than 10 minute from paperwork to service and to check out. The older boss (could be owner) was super nice, just as his crew was. Bottom line, I feel confident the next time I visit 395, if anything happen to my vehicle, this would be the first place comes in my thought.

A&L taking such good care of us! Called them when we were 30 mins away and they had exactly what we needed and told us what we needed to do when we arrived. Immediately came to the car and started providing service before we exited the vehicle. They explained in detail what was the problem and how to fix it to get back on the road quickly. Im sorry for the lateness of this review - I should have written this up a couple of months ago.Marco and the A&L Service team truly helped me out in a time of need. My car broke down in the middle of Death Valley, probably one of the worst places in the country to have your alternator die... I was able to get my car towed to Ridgecrest, and after frantically calling every repair shop in town (on a Saturday evening no less), A&L was not only still open but gladly accepted my car into their shop. Marco went above and beyond by letting my girlfriend and I hang out well into the evening in the front office while I waited on a ride back to Los Angeles. He stayed with us after-hours to make sure that we were comfortable and safe.The service done to my car was impeccable and it has been running smoothly ever since. His prices are more than fair. It is nice to know that there are still repair shops that pride themselves on taking care of not just the vehicles, but the people as well.I wish I would give you 6 stars, but Ill have to settle for 5/5. Our tire blew out for the second time in one day near ridgecrest after driving all day in our RV on our first family vacation. My husband, 4 kids and I felt defeated! We then called A and L Tire Co. After hours and Brian helped is out so much. He made us feel safe and took care of us. They had our 6 tires changed and on the road again in an hour and a half. Great customer service! Took my car over to check for a flat tire and I didnt have an appointment. They checked all my tires and made sure they were at the proper PSI, with no wait. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.

Marco and his crew were a fantastic help when we blew a tire and bent 2 wheels while heading to Death Valley after a rock slide. After a AAA tow (thanks Terry) we got to Ridgecrest with only 1 tire shop still open. These guys are so awesome! Took our car to this shop to have tire checked for loss of air pressure, as someone removed the cap of tire in our car in our hotels parking lot andcaused us to suspect a flat tire. The guy who greeted us was such a pro! He worked to find all means to check any holes in tires, did all the work in a cold weather, and when found no flat or puncture, he didnt charge us. What a honest person! The best service weve had in a long while.
This place absolutley saved my day, and saved me money. An hour before they closed I blew a tire and Brian made it his priority to help me out. Everytime Ive gone here Ive had exceptional customer service, but they went above and beyond to not only make sure I got back on the road, but that I got the best deal they could offer. Theyre hours only kept them open until 5 PM, and we wrapped five minutes after that. At no point did they rush the transaction, and the entire shift seemed to pull together to help me out. Im at home right now with four tires on my car, and more money in the bank. If I called anybody else I would probably have dealt with the expense of a tow truck, and then have to figure out how to get to a tire shop tomorrow. I personally thank you Brian, and I thank everybody on your crew this evening that helped make this happen.
Hands down the best customer service and most efficient when it comes to fixing our trailer that had two blown tires on the side of the 395. The 24/7 service guy arrived fairly quick especially with us being so far away. He was a hard worker and we are really appreciative of this company. These guys were able to help when even our roadside service said they couldnt.

The service they provided was much more than any customer could hope to receive. Brian Barry was amazing with working with my budget and was able to offer a deal better than what I came asking for. Had a tire pick up a what looked like the handle of some old metal scissors. Called the shop from lake Isabella, spoke with Bryan, explained what tire I needed. He did his due diligence, found the best set of tires he could. Had them changed within 45 minutes of me arriving. The hospitality was spot on, and they make sure your set before you leave.

I have had a great experience with this shop! I got the front control arms replaced here on my 2002 IS300. They worked for over a week trying fight through some rust that had built up and were able to successfully able to do the maintenance for me. Afterwards, I noticed my front right tire was scraping on something, so I took it back in and they fixed the issue completely free of charge! They have a 24 month warranty on all their work. They were even kind enough to provide me with a loaner car during the time my car was being worked on.If you want high quality work done, be sure to bring your car here.

Came in with a leaky tire and no appointment.They grabbed the car, checked it out, patched it and 15min and $20 later I was on my way home with the tire all fixed up.Everyone was friendly, helpful and as quick as could be. The waiting area is nice and comfortable and they have TV to keep you entertained, coffee to keep you going an a vending machine if you get hungry.
We rolled in on our donut in early April, after an errant rock slashed the sidewall of the right front tire in Red Rock Canyon. Because the car is an AWD, a replacement tire has to within a couple 32nd in tread depth or all four tires have to be replaced.The news was grim, but Bryan delivered it kindly. And I was prepared to buy a new set of tires. Then he tried one more thing and found an exact match just 1/32 off in wear. Sold.That kind of serendipity is just chance and wont happen often. I was definitely lucky. What I really appreciated though was the attitude of everyone there, the helpfulness, the professionalism and attention to customer service.Were just the average couple in a Subaru on road trip. Nothing special, but we definitely felt we were treated as if we were.Total number of people we engaged - 5, including Bryan - everyone of them positive and helpful. Thanks.

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon to get a quote for new tires on my pick-up. They had me scheduled for first thing Monday morning! Did not have to wait a week like other places. Also had them do my oil change as well as replace the motor for one of my window. Parts were ordered that Friday and arrived in time for my appointment on Monday. All the employees were very nice and professional. Prices were right where I expected them to be, no surprises or sticker shock. They went above and beyond to get my truck 100% done by the time I needed it to go to work that afternoon. Highly, highly recommended!
These guys are awesome I had 2 back to back road trips planned my car needed some major work done they were able to get the part & order 2 tires for me. When my tires didnt show up one of the guys drove half way to the wear-house it was about a 2hr drive. He did that for me just so I could go on my road trips. I seriously dont know any mechanic who would do that for a customer. They have been my #1 auto shop since I found them a few months back. Thank you again A&L Tire 💚😁

After having to go 3 times to a shop for alignment, I went in to A & L tire for a second opinion and Ryan took good care of me. Their tech Dennis its probably the best alignment guy in town, he fix up my alignment whick the other shop couldnt do after i went in 3 times and they kept telling me it was fix.
Once again, I was a damsel in distress and Brian and his crew at A&L Tire came and saved me in their white service truck! I went to carwash and vacuumed then washed my car and went to start it up and ... nothing! I called A&L Tire and they sent a tech over with a jumper box and got my car running right away. The best part was, they did it free of charge . This is just one of the many times that they have earned recognition from me.

Excellent service. Had to be towed from Kennedy Meadows with a broken tire rod and they ordered parts and fixed it in about an hour and a half. They even let us store our travel trailer while we waited. Air conditioning in the lobby was a plus. And the Mexican restaurant next door is really good.
I had vibration problem in car .. tire needed to replace. Marco gave me good deal and pretty fast service. My car windshield wiper they replaced without extra labor charges. Also got reward of $60 bucks back as purchased fuel saver firestone tire. Thanks Marco

Great shop. I was traveling through and needed a replacement tire. The tire was very reasonably priced. The gal at the desk was friendly and and got the paperwork done quickly. The mechanic replaced the tire and installed it on my truck checking both torque and pressure for needed tires, he was very fast and efficent and friendly too.These professionals got me back on the road in about 20 minutes. Needed a oil change and tire rotation with a flat repair. Set up a appointment for another day as was weekend. Was told over the phone let us WOW you with our service!All ready to be wowd and was I, but in the other way. Was there for almost two hours and thats with a appointment.Was told my flat repair couldnt be done, was shown why. I needed all tires in a perfect world. I was told I would have a estimate for the suggested work. I asked ( knowing myself already) what size was my tire they had no clue what size it was.. this was after they completed their work. Had a coupon too. First no tire rotation due to tires and part of coupon, no inspection done either, no size of tires or any other suggestion other than and I quoteneeds tires replaced no cause no reason for the replacement listed.When asked about what I have to choose from he told me he recommends one tire. Really? No choose for the consumer?I saw others get dealt with and as a former service writer (works as the guy you speak to about your car) I saw countless people getting the same treatment. One recommendation for repair and thats it.Maybe since I came from a bigger city I foolishly expected better service in a smaller town. So much for being wowd.Charged full price mind you no inspection and no tire rotation.
Apt for their tagline- Were more than just a tire store.We were stranded on our vacation with an oil leak with no service centers open during the long weekend and this place turned out to be our saviour.Not only were the staff friendly and kind, they were extremely efficient in getting us in and out very quick!
This place ROCKS! Brian and the staff are AWESOME! We were on the road to Mammoth and started to feel a vibration in our RV. Being the nervous wife I insisted that my husband pull over and look at the tires..blow outs seriously freak me out! Sure enough BOTH our front tires were on their last leg! We looked up the closest place we could find and thankfully came to A & L Tires. They hooked us up so fast with beautiful new tires at a very fair price, and we were on the road again incredibly fast! The staff was soooo nice and if we lived close I would go home, bake them all cookies, and bring them back to show our appreciation for their kindness in getting us back on the road to enjoying some much needed time away!
